Xiang Liu: "It's getting late, let us cook for you."

Tianwu stayed for dinner that evening, so Xiangliu let him be in charge of grilling the meat, while he added some kelp and red dates to the bone broth and continued to simmer the soup.

Lu Yao took a bite of the roasted meat. It had a delicate texture and tasted similar to chicken, but it was firmer and more elastic.

Granny Wu was a restless person, so she sat on the ground and started peeling chestnuts.

The witch said, "No, you can't do that. These thorns are sharp. You have delicate skin, you can't do this kind of work."

Lu Yao: "Then I'll peel the walnuts." As she spoke, she picked up the bone knife made by Xiang Liu and tried to cut open the green husk of the walnuts.

The witch said, "No, put it down quickly. I'll cut the skin with a bone knife before you peel it off. You're not allowed to use a knife; it'll be troublesome if you get hurt."

It was uncommon for Granny Wu to be so serious, so Lu Yao had no choice but to wait until Granny Wu had cut open the green skin before she could peel it herself.

She had just peeled two when Granny Wu stopped her again: "Master, stop peeling them, your hands are all black. I'll take over in a bit, why don't you go play with Niannian for a while?"

When Lu Yao saw that her hands had turned black, she knew that it would be difficult to wash off, so she got up, washed some strawberries, and came to Niannian's side to eat strawberries with her.

Xiang Liu had already arrived at the Misty Forest. He knew that Xiang Liu should not be there now, so he wanted to try to win Lu Yao's favor.

To his surprise, a venomous snake was secretly following him. This snake, named Zhen, was Liu Lele's suitor and had come to track Tian Wu on Liu Lele's behalf.

Tianwu was about to fly over the poisonous swamp to find Lu Yao when he suddenly realized he shouldn't go empty-handed. Males always bring their prey when pursuing females.

So Tianwu turned and flew into the forest to hunt for Lu Yao.

After seeing Tianwu leave, the venomous snake transformed into human form, crossed the poisonous swamp, and entered the cave.

Upon seeing Lu Yao sitting by the bed, Viper was immediately captivated.

Zhen: "What a beautiful little female! The Goddess was right after all; the Tianwu she loves has fallen for someone else."

Lu Yao: "If you are looking for Tian Wu, then you have come to the wrong place. He is not here. You should leave now."

Zhen: "I will take you with me even if I leave. The Goddess said that as long as I capture the person who seduced Tianwu and give him to her, she will agree to be my partner."

As he spoke, he walked toward Lu Yao.

The witch, emboldened by some unknown source, raised her bone knife and lunged at the poisonous creature.

The poisonous bird was so focused on Lu Yao that it lost its vigilance and was stabbed in the arm by the witch.

Enraged, Zhen slapped the witch away. But he didn't stop there; instead, he conjured sharp claws.

Zhen: "You old bastard, how dare you hurt me! I'll kill you!"

The old witch spat out a mouthful of blood, and was no longer able to resist.

Nian Nian burst into tears, crying out, "Grandma!"

The poisonous bird was drawn by the crying and turned around to look.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Lu Yao released a coconut from her spatial storage and threw it at the man in front of her.

The man who was hit was not angry at all; instead, he laughed.

Zhen: "You actually have a spatial dimension? Could it be that you're also a goddess?"

Lu Yao: "I am not some goddess. You'd better leave now, or my partner will never forgive you when he returns."

Zhen: "How many partners do you have?"

Lu Yao: "It's none of your business!"

Zhen sniffed him: "You only have a male scent on you. So you only have one partner. No wonder Tianwu was attracted to you. You're much cleaner than Liu Lele."

Lu Yao: "Although I only have one partner, he is very powerful. If you dare to hurt me, he will definitely not let you off the hook."
