"Woof~" Saihu barked at its owner, and Ye Huan understood: "I'll sue you for defamation, even if we're close..."

Ye Huan could tell that the wolf must have encountered some trouble, which was why it risked coming out to find help.

"Is this your child?" Ye Huan asked, looking at the wolf.

The wolf looked at him suspiciously, then Saihu barked as if to confirm. The wolf nodded, its eyes revealing pleading and expectation for Ye Huan.

Ye Huan sighed and shook his head helplessly. "Alright, it seems I can't escape today. But let me make this clear first, I'm not giving in because I can't beat you, I'm just worried about Saihu getting hurt."

As he spoke, he stuck the knife into the ground and carefully approached the little wolf.

Crouching down for a closer look, he discovered that the trap was deeply embedded in the wolf cub's flesh, with the bone protruding and blood gushing out. The wolf cub howled in agony, evoking pity in the eyes of all who saw it.

The wolf looked back at him, then pulled a roe deer from the bushes behind him and tossed it to Ye Huan.

The wolf nodded, then looked at the cub, licked it, and ran away.

"Saihu, did you see that? Isn't your brother super awesome and super cool? Haha~" Ye Huan picked up the basket on his back, but it couldn't fit the roe deer.

The only option was to find a vine to tie the roe deer to and then drag it back.

"Saihu, let's go home. We'll have extra food tonight!!"
