The steward stared blankly at Su'er and Ruan Mozhu before him, then turned to the madam, whose movements were also restricted, and asked, "Why...why did these two young masters suddenly appear in your room?"

Ruan Mozhu listened from the side, secretly amused. If this madam had a piece of tofu in her hand, she would probably kill the steward first, and then kill herself.

Sure enough, the madam's face turned red with anger, and she glared at the steward with wide eyes, looking at him with a disappointed expression, which left the steward completely bewildered.

"Butler, do you know where the indentures of the girls at Yihong Pavilion are kept?" Ruan Mozhu asked with a smile and slightly narrowed eyes.

Upon hearing this, the madam was horrified. Every cell in her body seemed to come alive, and her already unattractive eyes kept giving the butler meaningful glances, which made her look rather disgusted.

The steward, completely ignoring the madam's every move, looked at Ruan Mozhu, nodded somewhat slowly, and replied, "I understand." Glancing at Su'er, the steward continued, "We are all in this world of martial arts, what is the meaning of your words?"

Ruan Mozhu rolled her eyes at the steward with some impatience and said, "Don't be so bookish. Anyone who can help this old woman behind you manage this Drunken Spring Pavilion isn't a good person. Tell me, where are those girls' indentures?"

Only then did the butler realize what was happening. In his panic, he turned around and saw the madam looking at him with such rage that she seemed ready to devour him.

The steward felt a chill run from his feet to the top of his head. Looking at Ruan Mozhu and Su'er in front of him, he put on a resolute expression and said, "Young master, such barbaric behavior is hardly befitting your status."

"What are our identities? Do you even know? How ridiculous!" Ruan Mozhu watched the butler put on airs in front of her, and then successfully slapped him in the face.

The butler seemed to realize he had said the wrong thing, his face paled slightly, and he had no choice but to shut up and not say anything more. The look in his eyes as he looked at Ruan Mozhu and Su'er seemed to be saying, "I'd rather die than tell."

However, would Ruan Mozhu really let the housekeeper who said "I'd rather die than tell" and the madam who said "I'd rather die than tell" not tell? No way, don't be ridiculous.

Looking at the two stubborn people in front of her, Ruan Mozhu turned and gave Su'er a look, then slowly said, "Actually, I originally wanted to let you two go, but you two are not cooperating at all, Su'er."

Although Su'er was extremely unwilling, she still nodded and slapped the madam's dressing table.

With a muffled thud, the dressing table shattered into pieces, much to the astonishment of the madam and the butler.

Ignoring the speechless madam and butler, Ruan Mozhu continued, "Since neither of you is cooperating, let's play a game."

Perhaps due to the shock and immense mental pressure Su'er had placed on them, both the madam and the butler appeared somewhat delirious to Ruan Mozhu. They both uttered, "What game are we playing?"

Ruan Mozhu's lips curled into a subtle smile as she looked at the two people in front of her, who resembled prisoners. "How about we have a race to see who can be faster? After I count down from three, whoever can tell me the location of those girls' indentures first will be released. The slower one will suffer the same fate as that dressing table."

"Su'er, release the madam's speech acupoint." Ruan Mozhu said very casually, without even a hint of emotion, but the madam and the steward both stiffened.

"Hmm," Su'er responded softly, stepped forward, and quickly released the madam's speech acupoint.

The madam stared intently at Ruan Rongzhu, wishing she could skin him alive and torture him to death.

Ruan Mozhu, however, was unimpressed. The madam posed no threat to her whatsoever, and she simply ignored the vicious look in her eyes.

The butler looked up at Ruan Mozhu; her delicate features now appeared more like a demon from hell. Suppressing his fear, the butler asked, "Young Master, if we had spoken of it beforehand..."

The madam, seeing the butler standing not far away, wanted nothing more than to slap him. She gritted her teeth and scolded, "Don't you dare tell me!"

The steward, deflated by the madam's reprimand, lowered his head and remained silent.

“If you say it beforehand, that's a foul. But let me state this: you can't intimidate others, or it will be treated as cheating. After all, we have to abide by the rules of the game, right?” Ruan Mozhu said, revealing a row of white teeth.

The butler had almost given up, but his eyes lit up again after hearing Ruan Mozhu's words. "If I've spoken up beforehand, the madam is going to die anyway, so there's nothing she can do to me."

Seemingly having thought of this place as well, a malicious glint appeared in the madam's eyes as she looked at Ruan Rongzhu in front of her and said viciously, "Ruan Rongzhu, you wait and see, someone will come and deal with you."

Ruan Mozhu had heard the madam's words so many times she was sick of them, so she ignored them and started counting down.

Su'er watched quietly from the side, a hint of surprise and approval unintentionally showing in her eyes. She never expected that her princess would use such a method to find out the indenture.

The princess is so intelligent, and the prince is so brave; they are truly a match made in heaven. It's just a pity that the prince isn't here today, and he has missed this wonderful show.

As if suddenly remembering something, Su'er turned her gaze to the window. When her eyes fell on a certain point, her pupils contracted sharply. Her vigilance instantly increased, but when she saw it clearly, she couldn't help but smile.

It seems that the princess in front of him truly wins the prince's heart.

Su'er had a thousand thoughts racing through her mind, while Ruan Mozhu's countdown continued.

"Two," Ruan Mozhu deliberately prolonged the sound, making the butler and the madam extremely nervous, and a faint smile involuntarily appeared on Ruan Mozhu's lips.

"Damn it, if I had known it would turn out like this, I should have just tied you up and put you in the sedan chair back then," the madam muttered to herself.

Ruan Mozhu's eyes turned cold. Although the madam had tried her best to lower her voice, she still heard her.

She raised her head slightly, her delicate face now covered in frost. The smile on Ruan Mozhu's lips could now be described as cruel, and her pitying gaze made the madam pause.

"One"

"The indenture is in the madam's wardrobe!" The butler shouted almost the instant Ruan Mozhu finished speaking.

The madam's face turned ashen. "You're cheating!"

"Did I cheat?" Ruan Mozhu glanced at the butler. The butler immediately shook his head. If he admitted that Ruan Rongzhu had cheated, he would lose his hard-earned get-out-of-jail-free card.

"You, you, steward, you ungrateful wretch!" Blood rushed to the madam's head, her angry eyes fixed on the steward, too agitated to speak.

"Su'er, seal the madam's speech acupoints and throw her in the corner." As she spoke, Ruan Mozhu walked to the madam's wardrobe, feeling somewhat dissatisfied.

"So it was in this wardrobe. No wonder Su'er and I couldn't find it," Ruan Mozhu said, opening the wardrobe without any hesitation.

In fact, Ruan Mozhu and Su'er had suspected the wardrobe, but the smell they smelled after opening it was too unbearable for them, and they couldn't connect it with the indenture that was so important to the madam, so they ignored it.

A stench of rouge and powder mixed with a musty smell and body odor wafted from the wardrobe. Even though Ruan Mozhu had experienced it once before, she still couldn't help but gag when she faced it again.

Su'er frowned slightly, pulling Ruan Mozhu to her side while releasing the steward's pressure points.

"You, go and get those indentures," Su'er's voice was cold and devoid of any warmth.

The butler looked troubled; the madam's wardrobe was simply too...

"Hmm," Su'er's gaze was like a cold blade, instantly piercing through the butler's defenses and striking straight at his chest.

"I'll go, I'll go," the butler shuddered, and could only agree in a low voice. He covered his nose, walked to the wardrobe, and began to search through the pile of clothes with his fingers.

After gagging for a while, Ruan Mozhu recovered and looked at the madam in the corner with disgust in her beautiful eyes. She said with disdain, "I didn't expect that although you are good-looking, your wardrobe is like this. It really is true that clothes make the man."

The madam has now had her speech impediment sealed, and can only stare blankly at Ruan Mozhu, unable to utter a single word.

"Sigh, Su'er," Ruan Mozhu suddenly asked, as if she had thought of something, "This madam has a very powerful backer."

Su'er hesitated for a moment, then said, "It's quite large. Putting aside everything else, it has supported the operation of Zuihonglou for nearly ten years."

"Oh," Ruan Mozhu pondered for a moment, then said thoughtfully, "Looks like you have a powerful backer. No wonder you were so arrogant in front of me today." After saying that, Ruan Mozhu brought her mouth close to Su'er's and whispered, "Can you afford to offend her?"

Although Ruan Mozhu tried to keep her voice down, the madam still caught the most crucial sentence. A smug glint appeared in her previously lifeless eyes, as if to say, "My backing is that strong. Just wait until he gets here and see how he deals with you."

Hearing Ruan Mozhu's words, Su'er couldn't help but smile bitterly. You've already offended her; what's the point of asking now?

But when Su'er saw the madam's eyes, she immediately understood. Her princess, though full of cunning ideas, to be honest, truly understood her heart.

Ruan Mozhu is clearly playing dumb to outsmart everyone.

Su'er was that kind of person. Seeing that her princess was so to her liking, she naturally cooperated wholeheartedly.

Su'er looked troubled, glanced at Ruan Rongzhu, pondered for a moment, and said with some difficulty, "If it were just the madam alone, perhaps she could handle it."
