Ato stood on the deck and looked out into the distance, where he could already make out the coastline in the distance.

The transport ship will arrive at the port of Immortal Fortress in half a day; it's time for Swain to appear before these wounded.

Swain's cabin was unlocked, and Ato walked right in.

"It's almost lunchtime. You can remove your disguise and go to the restaurant. Be as natural as possible and let them discover you on their own."

To avoid premature exposure, Swain has been staying in his cabin these days, with food being delivered by Atto.

The more seriously injured were in another area and were cared for by the ship's caregivers, while the caregivers only came to check on the condition of the injured who were still able to take care of themselves each day.

Swain removed the mask he had worn for over ten days, put on his armor again, tidied his hair, and transformed back into the brilliant strategist he once was.

“Let’s go.” Swain stood up, leaning on his cane, and walked to the corridor in front of the cabin.

Ato followed behind him, thinking that perhaps some of the people on the ship were LeBlanc's men, who might be a threat to Swain.

Just then, a middle-aged female caregiver happened to pass by, and Swain's appearance startled her.

She knew that there was a wounded soldier living there who didn't want to see anyone, probably because he was disfigured, so he never left his cabin and even had to have his food brought to him.

Why did this wounded soldier come out of the cabin today? Judging from his appearance, he doesn't seem to be disfigured, and his demeanor... doesn't seem like that of an ordinary soldier!

The caregivers were not military personnel; they were all temporarily transferred from the Immortal Fortress hospital and had never seen Swain before.

“Sorry, I startled you.” Swain nodded to the female caregiver and limped toward the ship’s restaurant.

He was very slow, taking a full five minutes to arrive, and only encountered other caregivers along the way.

The two arrived very early; there was no one else in the restaurant yet.

Following Atto's instructions, Swain naturally asked for some food.

He now only has one arm left and has to use a cane, so Ato had to hold it for him and place it in a position facing the door.

Once you enter the restaurant, it's hard not to see Swain.

Atto helped him sit down, then sat down next to him with his own plate, a few seats away.

Swain ate slowly, and he couldn't finish his lunch until enough soldiers recognized him.

A few minutes later, two soldiers with intact limbs entered the mess hall; they were the guards protecting the transport ship.

One of them saw Swain facing them, rubbed his eyes, and thought he was seeing things.

"Do you think that man was General Swain?"

"How should I know? Isn't he your superior? You are a soldier of the Swain Legion."

"I only saw him from afar when the general was speaking, so I didn't get a clear look. I'd better go up and ask him."

The two men stepped forward and asked cautiously, "Excuse me... are you General Swain?"

Swain's eagle-like eyes swept over the two of them, sending a chill down their spines.

Before he could even speak, a gasp came from the doorway.

"It's General Swain!" The man quickly came to the table and gave a standard military salute.

"General, Corporal Hans reports... General, your hand!" Only then did the soldier named Hans notice Swain's unusual behavior.

Hans had stood close to Swein while he was speaking, so he was quite certain of Swein's appearance.

"Greetings, General!" Now that their identities had been confirmed, the two who entered first also bowed to Swain.

“I didn’t sense any killing intent; they’re not from LeBlanc.” Atto pretended to eat, but his attention was actually on this side, wary of any possible attack from the shadows.

Swain put down his fork and said, "Alas, I was cut in half by the awakened Ionians. If I weren't unable to fight, I wouldn't have left the battlefield."

“General…” The soldiers’ vision blurred. As the legion commander, the only one who was not sitting in the command room but fighting alongside his soldiers on the battlefield was Swain.

"General! Assign me to the battlefield! I want to fight on the battlefield, I don't want to be a guard on transport ships anymore!" Hans pleaded.

“Perhaps I no longer have the authority to command you.” Swain shook his head. “I am a defeated general. Everyone except me is dead. Now I only want to return to the Empire.”

More and more people entered the restaurant, and upon discovering Swain, they were all surprised and amazed, surrounding him and asking him what was wrong.

The entire restaurant was thrown into chaos.

"Alright, soldiers, stop crowding around me. It's lunchtime! Soldiers can't go hungry!"

"Yes, sir!"

The guards and the wounded obeyed the orders, but a few minutes later they came back with their trays of food.

"There's not a hint of murderous intent. Could it be that there aren't any LeBlanc members on this ship?" Ator frowned slightly, feeling that this didn't quite fit LeBlanc's style.

Soon everyone knew that the legion commander was on this ship, and Ator's goal had been achieved.

Given Swain's reputation in the military, it was no longer possible for LeBlanc to arrest him quietly.

Even as the transport ship docked at dusk, the guards and wounded who were on board still wore excited expressions. They dispersed throughout the Immortal Fortress to spread the news of Swain's return.

"Where are we going?" Atto asked Swain.

Although he lived in the Immortal Fortress for a month, he spent most of his time in the military camp, so he was certainly not as familiar with it as Swain, who had lived there for decades.

"Go to the Swain family mansion."

Ato raised an eyebrow. He had previously forgotten Swain's noble status and had always regarded him as an officer.

Swain, leaning on his cane, walked toward a café by the dock.

“Mr. Atto, thank you very much this time. If it weren’t for you, I would have died on the battlefield and would not have been able to return to Noxus. I can’t guarantee anything now, but you will gain the friendship of the Swain family.”

Atto waved his hand: "It's no trouble at all. Let's think about how to deal with LeBlanc first."

Swain analyzed, "The Pale Lady will know I am not dead and will manipulate Darkwell to summon me to the palace tomorrow. As a general, with all his men killed, he has escaped from the battlefield. He is a deserter."

"Do you really think LeBlanc won't send troops to arrest you today?"

Ato had prepared for a fierce battle once he reached the shore, but judging from Swain's confident demeanor, he believed LeBlanc wouldn't target him today.

Ato used the wounded and guards to create a stir and spread the news of Swain's return, all to prevent LeBlanc from secretly sabotaging him.

In that case, if LeBlanc wants to capture Swain, she must do so openly and under the watchful eyes of everyone.

Swain shook his head: "I have some prestige in the army. You saw it on the ship. They were excited to see me. It's impossible for them to send troops to arrest me directly."
