"High Priest, they're here!"

Although they were facing the dead, the Baju people showed no fear.

Illaoi hoisted the stone sphere onto his shoulder and roared, “My brethren, we are the chosen ones who have passed the trials! We will not allow these filthy creatures to desecrate the land protected by the gods!”

"In the name of Nagachabolos!"

As soon as she finished speaking, Illaoi burst into motion. Despite her large size, she was incredibly fast and rushed into the black mist in the blink of an eye.

"In the name of Nagakaporos!" the Baru shouted in unison, following the high priest as he charged forward.

Planck's insurmountable bone claw defense proved utterly ineffective against Illaoi.

The stone sphere, enveloped in green light, danced in Illaoi's hands. The undead raised its bone claws to try and block it, but was smashed to the ground along with its head, crushed into powder.

With one "comrade" quickly dealt with, the nearby undead all turned their attention to Illaoi, and soon a large number of undead gathered around her.

"Drink, ah!"

Illaoi leaped high into the air and slammed the stone ball into the ground.

A tremendous sound accompanied by a shockwave appeared, and countless green tentacles, each four or five meters long, appeared on the ground centered on her.

Some whipped up the dead and flung them around in the air, while others slammed them down directly, with the power of cannonballs.

"As expected of the High Priest, the one most closely connected with Nagakaporos, to be able to wield divine power to such an extent!" a Baru exclaimed.

"We must also strive to emulate the High Priest and earnestly experience the power of the gods!"

……

"The undead's offensive is getting fiercer, which means that the influence of the Soul-Eating Night is about to reach its peak, and the most difficult moment is coming!"

Sarah fired a shot to repel an undead and then warned Ato.

Ato casually beheaded a nearby undead and comforted it, saying, "If this is the highest difficulty, then I'll be able to speedrun my first dungeon in Runeterra without taking any damage!"

“What… a copy?” Sarah was a little confused by the word Ato suddenly used.

"Hahahaha~" Aatrox let out a strange laugh.

"Such a wonderful start, such an exhilarating battle, I haven't experienced anything like this in a long time! Cheers for me, applause for me!"

"Old man, what's gotten into you all of a sudden? You're being swung around like a puppet, chopping at the undead, and you're still not behaving yourself."

Atoll is now happy to dampen Aatrox's enthusiasm, and bickering is gradually becoming a habit for the two of them.

"What do you know, little thing? Only fighting can make me temporarily forget the despair of not being able to die!"

Aatrox became extremely excited as soon as he entered battle mode, completely unaware that his past was being exposed to Aatrox like his underwear was being worn on the outside.

"There's no fun in slaying those lowly pirates, but slaying these strangely constructed undead is a feeling I've never experienced before! A lump of mindless rotten flesh? Hahahaha~"

Just like their verbal sparring, their physical actions never stopped.

Atto's figure flickered throughout the "Siren," helping all the sailors who couldn't withstand the undead offensive.

They only saw a flash of red light before their eyes, and the undead that had just put so much pressure on them were now just bodies slowly collapsing to the ground.

Although the black fog obstructed his vision, Atto could clearly perceive the situation in every corner of the "Siren".

This is the result of Atrox further digesting his combat experience through long-term actual combat.

At the level of the ancient Shurima Celestial Warriors, vision is no longer a factor affecting combat.

"Captain! We've run out of ammunition!" Raven shouted to Sarah.

"Damn, no wonder it's been so much quieter."

Sarah frowned, the surrounding black mist was still thick, and she didn't know when the Soul-Eating Night would end.

"Gunners, listen up! Abandon the shelling, assemble in the center of the deck, and meet the enemy with swords!"

She watched Atto running around the ship, and even though she knew he was a mysterious figure with unfathomable strength, she couldn't help but worry about him.

Her order was to reduce the area where the crew members were distributed and to lighten Atto's burden.

He really did it.

More than half a day has passed since the start of the Night of Souls, and not a single crew member has perished in the undead attacks—a result Sarah would never have dared to imagine in the past.

Suddenly, the undead on the "Siren" stopped attacking and slowly began to retreat, disappearing into the black mist at the edge of sight for ordinary people.

"What's going on?" Sarah asked in utter astonishment. "Is the Night of Soul Devouring about to end?"

“No,” Atto said, his expression turning serious for the first time, “the bigger one is coming.”

"All of you, get back into the cabin, quick!" Ato was actually a little anxious.

"What? What are you going to do then?"

Sarah was shocked again. Just how much power did this person still have up his sleeve?

Ato brandished his greatsword, causing the crew to retreat several steps in unison. His tone was forceful: "Quick, move!"

Sarah took a deep breath and decided to trust Atto: "I understand. Everyone, return to your rooms!"

The crew left, and Sarah walked to the captain's cabin door. Turning around, she saw Atto standing on the deck with his back to her.

The giant sword lay horizontally beside him, giving him the imposing presence of someone who could single-handedly stop an army of thousands.

Sarah pursed her lips, entered the captain's cabin, locked the door, and quickly went to the window to pull back the curtains. Through the thick fog, she could barely see the situation on the deck.

She was eager to know what had happened to make Atto take it so seriously.

"Old man, are you ready to face a formidable foe? Apart from those two angel sisters, we haven't encountered many truly powerful opponents yet."

"This guy might not be much weaker than they were a thousand years ago," Atto said with a smirk.

“I’ve been prepared for this for a long time. Killing him will give me pleasure.” Aatrox’s voice was filled with barely concealed excitement.

"Will you win?"

"It will win."

Seven figures finally emerged from the bow of the "Siren".

The figure in the middle was engulfed in blue flames.

The huge hole in his chest resembled the gaping maw of a demon, capable of devouring everything.

A sharp spike extends backward from his head, and he holds a halberd in his hand. Most importantly, his body shape is not exactly the same as that of a human!

His lower body is that of a tall horse! He is a centaur!

On his left and right sides were three centaurs, each wielding a halberd and engulfed in flames.

They are fundamentally different in strength from the undead we've seen before!

The centaur in the middle raised his halberd, pointing it directly at Ator, and then spoke in human language: "Witness the power of the Shadow Isles!"

The six centaur attendants moved in unison, and the seven figures charged at Ator simultaneously!

"What on earth is that...?"

Sarah's eyes widened; such a creature had never appeared in the previous Soul Eater Nights!
