Could it be any less convincing for a dangerous man of unknown origin and questionable morality to say that another unknown monk is a good person?

“He will not pose a threat to you. On the contrary, you will receive his help. I promised Raven that now that I have the answer from you, I will help you deal with the Iron Hook Gang’s incursions for the next period of time. This is the deal.”

Meanwhile, on the deck of the "Siren".

Why isn't the captain out yet?

Almost all the crew members of the "Siren" gathered at the entrance to the captain's cabin, pacing back and forth.

Today he asked Sarah about the date, and Sarah told him that this year is 983 of the Norse calendar.

There was only one year left before that war broke out.

A thousand years ago, a war broke out in Runeterra that spanned the continents of Valoran and Shurima, causing severe damage to nations and civilizations.

After the war, the survivors in the eastern part of Valoran were the first to rebuild their country on the ruins of the former nation of Nokoshi, and named that year the first year of the Nokoshi era.

Now, regardless of the relations between nations, this has become the standard calendar used in Runeterra.

This country is Noxus, currently the most powerful nation on the continent of Valoran.

In 984 AD, Noxian Emperor Bron Darkwell waged war against Ionia, the nascent land to the east, a war that had an indelible impact on the entire Runeterra.

"Little one, what's so special about that mage?" Aatrox was curious about the mage Aatrox had mentioned that morning. Sarah didn't dare to ask, but Aatrox didn't have that concern.

"Remember the three ways I told you about destroying you? The first one is the World Rune."

The Darkin Sword began to flicker violently again.

"Hey, can you please stop flashing the lights every time you get excited?" Ato complained.

"Could he have clues about the World Rune?" Aatrox spoke rapidly, eager to learn more about the blue-skinned bald mage.

"He started traveling across the continent around the same time you escaped. In the past thousand years, besides picking fights, what else have you done that was worthwhile?"

"But he, my friend, is the real hero."

"His name is Ryze. Because his homeland was destroyed by the World Rune, he made it his mission to collect runes. After collecting them, he hid them away. These items with immense power cannot be allowed to be possessed by ordinary people."

The demonic sword continued to flash rapidly: "Finding Ryze is the same as finding the World Rune? I didn't expect to find a clue to one of the methods so quickly."

Atto, however, poured cold water on the idea: "Don't be too optimistic. None of the three methods are easy to accomplish. Besides, Ryze has been traveling for a thousand years and still hasn't collected all five runes."

Method 1: World Runes.

From the very beginning of Runeterra, there existed five World Runes, each possessing world-destroying power.

The power of a single rune is not enough to destroy Aatrox; all five runes must be gathered together to reach the level of power behind the Sun Disc.

The five world runes are: Yellow - Precision, Red - Domination, Blue - Sorcery, Green - Resolve, and Cyan - Enlightenment.

Aatrox disagreed: "Compared to the past thousand years, this is already considerable progress, and it's better than having no hope or even despair."

“If you hadn’t met me, where would you have gone after leaving Bilgewater?” Atto asked.

“It should be Freljord. I originally planned to go there to find the demigod, but since you said that even the demigod cannot destroy me, then there is no point in going there.”

“No, we still have to go to Freljord.” Ato straightened up.

"Because of my arrival, you didn't go to Freljord, which will cause a drastic change in the power structure there, which is detrimental to the second method I mentioned."

Upon hearing this, Aatrox became anxious again: "In that case, let's head to Freljord as soon as we leave here."

The Dragon King was furious but helpless. If He dared to unleash His punishment, the crown would destroy other planets in the universe.

These planets were all Thor's creations, which He regarded as treasures and allowed Him to take them, but He never descended upon Runeterra again.

The vessel through which Runeterra receives power is the Sun Disk.

“Something’s not right.” Aatrox suddenly changed the subject. “I sense a force approaching from the southeast.”

"Southeast?" Ato recalled the Runeterra world map he had seen in the real world. "It's the Shadow Isles!"
