First, take down the Sword Demon, then save Runeterra.
Chapter 22 New Passengers
Just then, the four Yordles, who had been briefly unconscious due to the fall, awoke one after another.
Tristana rubbed her eyes, trying to make out her surroundings, but Lulu beneath her pushed her off the "Yordle Mountain" and she fell to the ground.
"Ouch!" Tristana's voice was crisp and clear as she grinned and rubbed her bottom. "I knew it was you without even thinking, you purple garlic!"
Atto noticed that Ryze in the crowd silently took a few steps back and awkwardly touched his nose.
"Who are you calling a purple-skinned garlic?" Lulu stood on Kuchi, hands on her hips.
"If Teemo hadn't had a problem with his sense of direction and landed on the open sea, only managing to locate a ship in the chaos, we would have been in Ionia long ago!"
"Uh, could you get off me first?" the bearded man said weakly.
"Ugh..." Teemo at the bottom was speechless.
Are all Yordles this noisy?
Sarah knew that the Yordles existed and that they did some funny things, but she never thought they had this kind of personality.
“Wait, Lulu,” Tristana finally called out the name correctly, “these people are…”
"Wow! It's pirates! It's a pirate ship! It's all Teemo's fault!"
Lulu panicked a little and quickly jumped onto the deck to stand next to Tristana. She held a wooden staff as tall as herself in her small hand and waved it around trying to make a scene.
"Pirates!" Kuchi jumped to his feet. "Leave this to the ace pilot! Wait, let me find my aircraft first..."
"Ugh..." Teemo under Corki's feet was once again brutally trampled.
Sarah and the others watched the four Yordles perform silently, all having the same thought: When will they ever shut up? They can't get a word in edgewise!
Atrox even more maliciously wondered what would happen if he locked the four of them in a room with Atrox.
"Hey! It's that purple-skinned bald guy!" Tristana spotted Ryze hiding in the crowd. "Hey purple-skinned bald guy! Were you captured by the pirates too?"
Everyone quickly made way for Ryze, having witnessed his power and not wanting him to mistakenly believe they had been captured!
"It's Ryze again!"
Lulu was very happy to see Ryze and waved her wand at him. Then, remembering something, she took the opportunity to tap Tristana on the forehead.
"Ouch!" Tristana clutched her head. "Purple garlic! Why did you hit me?"
"Use your brain!" Lulu gave him a disdainful look, as if he were looking at someone with an intellectual disability. "How could Ryze be captured by pirates? Are there any pirates in the world who could capture Ryze?"
The crew members were further away.
"I told you it would be troublesome... but then I saw something interesting."
Atto was in a great mood. He felt extremely satisfied to be able to see real people and hear unexpected conversations after traveling to this world.
"It's great to see you all again..."
Ryze shook his head, it was unclear whether he was truly happy. He then knelt down in front of the four of them and patted Tristana and Lulu's heads.
"Ugh... not again! Can you please stop touching our heads? I can't even keep my mage hat on!" Lulu puffed out her cheeks, looking exceptionally cute.
"I miss it!" Tristana grinned, seemingly unconcerned about Ryze's behavior.
"Hello... and Corki, Teemo, hello. The last time I saw you was a hundred years ago in real time."
"A hundred years? How long is a hundred years? Can I play this game in real life for a hundred years?"
"How many places can we go in a hundred years? How many strange people can we meet? How much food can we eat that we've never seen before?"
Lulu and Tristana chattered away, pestering Ryze, making everyone else feel embarrassed.
Taking advantage of this moment, Sarah quietly asked Atto, "Why is Mr. Ryze emphasizing real-world time? Aren't the Yordle people in the real world?"
Atto explained, “They live in Bandle City, which doesn’t exist in the real world, but occasionally humans wander in there by mistake.”
"Only a very small number of these people will be able to come out again. The information we have about Bandle City is spread from these survivors."
"Everything in the city is colorful, the taste of food and water is intoxicating, the sunlight is gentle, the spring water never stops, and every plant bears abundant fruit. No one knows if this is true or not."
“Where is Bandle City? Is their time different from ours?” Sarah asked the most crucial question.
“That’s right. The flow of time in Bandle City is different from ours, but neither the humans who accidentally enter Bandle City nor the Yordles themselves can feel it.”
"As for its location, I can't be sure, but I guess it's in the spiritual realm."
“That sounds like a nice place. I hope I’ll have a chance to go and see it someday,” Sarah exclaimed. “Of course, that will have to wait until we’ve successfully avenged ourselves on Planck…”
"Hmm? Little thing, there's something you don't know? Hahahaha~" Aatrox suddenly laughed strangely, "So you're not omnipotent after all, I can finally feel at peace with myself..."
"Ah, a huge monster!" Lulu pointed with her little hand and discovered the terrifying Darkin Demon Sword.
"Eek, how scary!" The four little ones immediately hugged Ryze's legs in pairs, making him sigh helplessly.
"Ryze, beat him up!" Tristana clenched her little fists, cheering Ryze on.
“Don’t be nervous, he’s our partner,” Ryze said with a bitter expression, trying to change the subject.
"You're also going to Ionia, right? We can travel together for this part of the journey, but you can't follow me after we disembark. I have something very important to do."
"So you're going to Ionia too!" Their attention was indeed drawn.
How heartless can someone be! Atto thought to himself, what if I were really a bad person?
“I’m sorry, Ms. Sarah, could you take all four of them with you? I will pay for their fare, including any damage they cause on board…”
Ator managed to suppress his laughter by looking at Ryze's expression.
Why does the art style become strange whenever it involves Yordles? Is it because the combat strength of comedic characters must be excluded?
Sorry, being favored by Runeterra means you can do whatever you want.
Sarah agreed without hesitation; there was plenty of space on the ship anyway, and Yordles were quite small...
“Thank you for your generosity. When you disembark, you can take stock of anything missing or damaged on board, and we can calculate the cost and compensate you at the original price. I’ve accumulated quite a bit of wealth over the years traveling on the mainland.” Ryze bowed slightly.
“Actually, it’s just a coincidence; the little ones are going to Ionia too.” Sarah waved her hand, but suddenly a bad feeling welled up inside her…
Could this really cause me some serious trouble?
