The movement of the sun, moon, and stars was originally in the hands of the star lords in the Heavenly Court, and it was also a manifestation of their power. But suddenly one day, even if it was just an insignificant event in the long course of time, it slipped out of their control, and they would feel as if the sky was about to collapse.

When power gets out of control, people will die.

So they decided to kill the man who had caused this loss of power.

At that time, the people in the Heavenly Court were in a frenzy. Everyone wanted the person who challenged this power to be arrested by the heavenly soldiers and generals, brought to the Heavenly Court for trial, and finally sent to the Demon-Slaying Platform.

"Where are the all-seeing and all-hearing eyes? Go quickly and see who has disrupted the secrets of heaven."

The Jade Emperor's order has been issued.

Then the all-seeing eye and the all-hearing ear went to investigate.

However, after investigating for a while, he returned and reported: "The weather in the Xiniu Hezhou area is abnormal. The heavenly secrets are chaotic, and neither can be seen nor heard."

Is the secret of heaven shrouded in chaos?

The Jade Emperor was not without brains; he immediately summoned Laozi for questioning.

Laozi came over, looked at it, and also did some calculations with his fingers. He shook his head and said, "This old Taoist can't figure it out either. The secrets of heaven are obscured, but it's not just that powerful being there."

The Jade Emperor was bewildered and asked in a low voice, "The ministers are all waiting to make a decision. Should this person be chosen or not? Please give us your answer."

Laozi shook his head: "That place is located in Xiniuhezhou, which is a matter of face for Buddhism. If we go there to take people, wouldn't that be a slap in the face for Buddhism? It would be better to give Buddhism a chance and let them handle the matters in front of Buddhism."

The Jade Emperor and Laozi looked at each other and suddenly smiled.

Soon the Jade Emperor's decree reached the Great Thunder Temple.

Seeing the old man Taibai Jinxing's smiling face, as if he were still trying to vindicate Buddhism, the Buddha said kindly, "Your Majesty has troubled yourself with this matter. Buddhism will handle it itself."

Venus nodded: "We await the Buddha's good news."

After saying this, he ignored the Buddha's offer of tea and went straight back to the Heavenly Court.

After Venus left, the Great Thunder Temple was in an uproar.

The Buddha slammed his fist on the table and said, "What's all this noise about? What kind of behavior is this? You're a monk, and you can't even keep your composure over something like this? How will you ever accomplish anything great in the future?"

One of the disciples asked, "Does the Buddha know the origin of the one who conceals the secrets of heaven?"

The Buddha frowned: "In this Three Realms, I have observed all things and all events, yet there is this one thing I cannot calculate. It is strange. What do you Venerable Ones say about it?"

So everyone started using their own methods to calculate.

They thought Buddha was testing them, so they all worked very hard.

It's just that it's destined to be impossible to calculate; all we know is that the place is shrouded in mystery, and no information can be revealed unless you go there in person.

Some Arhats said that it was simply a flaw in the operation of the heavenly mechanism.

Other disciples said, "Who could possibly obscure the secrets of Heaven? In this world, only a handful of people, such as Buddha and the Three Pure Ones, can obscure the secrets of Heaven, because they all control the workings of Heaven. It must be one of them."

There are different opinions.

So the Buddha asked Guanyin Bodhisattva.

"Venerable Guanyin, what is your opinion?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva said, "The secrets of heaven are obscured, and even Laozi could not calculate them. I can only think of one person."

Upon hearing this, everyone looked towards Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Guanyin Bodhisattva said, "I have met such a Taoist. His words are true words of the Great Dao, and the law follows his words. He is truly powerful. So, if we really want to solve this problem, we should find this Taoist."

Everyone looked at Guanyin Bodhisattva in realization, thinking to themselves, "They must have suffered a loss."

I did suffer a loss, but this matter absolutely cannot be revealed.

He was "imprisoned" in the Purple Bamboo Forest of the South China Sea by Zhang Zhengdao's Great Dao Mantra. It was his own territory, and he couldn't move. He felt a helplessness he had never experienced before.

Guanyin Bodhisattva definitely doesn't want to experience it a second time.

Having received the answer they wanted, the Buddha said, "Disperse, all of you." So everyone bowed, took their leave, and went about their own cultivation.

"Please wait a moment, Venerable Guanyin!" said the Buddha.

Guanyin Bodhisattva had no choice but to stay.

The Buddha asked, "Is that Taoist priest more powerful than you?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva looked embarrassed, but since Buddha wanted to ask, she couldn't lie to him, so she could only nod and say, "Indeed powerful."

The Buddha then asked, "How do you compare to me?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva said, "What this person upholds is the Great Dao. I was trapped in the Purple Bamboo Grove in the South China Sea by his Great Dao mantra and could not escape."

The Buddha was stunned, staring at the entrance of the Great Thunderclap Temple for a long time without saying a word.

Guanyin Bodhisattva waited for a long time, but he didn't speak, so she asked, "Buddha, is there anything else?"

The Buddha sighed, "The Jade Emperor's decision to throw this person at us is surely ill-intentioned!"

Guanyin Bodhisattva sneered, thinking to herself: Why didn't you do this sooner? Only now do you realize you have ill intentions? Perhaps you wanted to prove Buddhism's dominance in Xiniu Hezhou back then.

So she also stared blankly out the door.

A Buddha and a Bodhisattva were both staring blankly at the gate, seemingly lost in thought.

As the sun set, Buddha turned back to look at Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Surprised: "You haven't left yet?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva was stunned. Didn't you tell me to stay?

Then he clasped his hands in a respectful gesture and said, "This disciple will take his leave now."

Just as I reached the door, Buddha called out to me.

"Has the journey to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures been interfered with?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva said, "After that Taoist priest arrived, he casually gave the Moonlight Box to the monkey... Sun Wukong, and Sun Wukong traveled to five hundred years in the future..."

The Buddha said, "You should go there yourself; the great journey to the West cannot be hindered."

Despite her inner complaints, Guanyin Bodhisattva accepted the order with a cheerful expression and left.

As Guanyin Bodhisattva disappeared into the Great Thunderclap Temple, the Buddha couldn't help but think to himself, "As long as nothing goes wrong on the journey to the West, what does it matter what this Taoist does? Is he just a tool for those people in Heaven?"

No way!

As dawn broke, Fairy Zixia leaned against Zhang Zhengdao's head and slept soundly.

How old is this woman?

She has been cultivating in front of Buddha for tens of thousands of years, yet she still acts like a little girl.

That makes sense. Even if someone cultivates in Buddhism for ten thousand years, they still can't experience the full spectrum of human life—the joys and sorrows—that ordinary people experience in a few decades. They're not even as good as a stone.

At least a stone can achieve the same emptiness as a monk, and it is harmless to humans and animals.

The sun seemed to rise from the water, slowly being lifted up above the edge of the desert.

The orange-red light wasn't dazzling, but it woke Zixia up.

"Thank you!"

Zixia's face was very red, whether from the orange sunlight or from her inner joy and shyness, it was hard to tell. It was flushed and almost burning.

What a beautiful night and morning!

Beside the Taoist priest, they watched as he waved his hand, and a sky full of stars appeared. Then the two of them sat and watched the bright moon and the starry river.

Then he leaned on his lover's shoulder to sleep, and when he opened his eyes, he not only saw the round, orange sun, but also the warm light shining on the Taoist priest's face.

This is love!

Thinking of this, Fairy Zixia felt a gentle warmth that seemed to well up with tears.

Zhang Zhengdao said, "I have something to tell you."

Zixia Fairy kept her eyes on Zhang Zhengdao's face, squinted and smiled, "Go ahead and say it, I'm listening."

Zhang Zhengdao: "I'm leaving."

Fairy Zixia: "I'll follow you."

Zhang Zhengdao said, "I will go to the Southern Continent, find a place with beautiful scenery, and then settle down."

Fairy Zixia: "That's what I thought too, so I'm living with you."

Sigh, love-struck women are so clingy!

Zhang Zhengdao actually really admired Hu Yunying's heroic and chivalrous spirit. Now he's starting to miss her again.

The world of A Chinese Odyssey.

The first day I miss Hu Yunying.

Compared to Zixia Fairy, Hu Yunying is clearly much more sensible. Fair-skinned, beautiful, with long legs, she's skilled in bed, understanding, and not clingy. She's practically every man's ideal partner.

Zhang Zhengdao said, "You're following me? We've only known each other for a few days, and we've only met a few times, and you're already like this!"

Fairy Zixia said, "Meeting you once is like knowing you for ten thousand years. I estimate that when I became the wick before Buddha, I was already destined to meet you. So the true meaning of 'a glance lasts a thousand years' in Buddhism refers to my meeting you."

This woman will make up any lie just to be with me.

If I were to say a single word in pinyin, would you be able to compile textbooks for nine-year compulsory education?

Zhang Zhengdao didn't object to having some kind of relationship with Zixia; after all... men all understand.

However, Zhang Zhengdao felt that a woman who was too clingy would limit his ability to perform.

Therefore, he decided to unleash his ultimate weapon: if this woman could withstand it, then it would be the will of Heaven that had arranged for him to be with her.

I didn't have any malicious intent in wanting to be with her.

Zhang Zhengdao gave a formal cough: "I have something important to tell you, listen up... Oh dear, I told you not to play with my hair, now look what happened, it's all tangled up..."

Zixia Fairy deftly tried to untangle the knots that were tangled between Zhang Zhengdao's hair and her own.

"I have something important to say, can you be serious for once?"

Zhang Zhengdao said angrily.

Fairy Zixia chuckled, "Alright, alright, I'm listening seriously."

As she spoke, she suddenly sat up straight.

"Ouch, what are you doing sitting so straight with your hair still up? You're pulling my hair. I give up..."

Zhang Zhengdao said angrily.

"To tell you the truth, I'm married. I came into this world to find my wife."
