"sister?"

"sister?"

Yun Shaojie looked at the person on the small bed, who was half-lying down, with her feet clamped on the old, faded blanket, her arms tightly wrapped around herself, laughing and drooling. The key question was, why was her face so red?

You used to sleep very quietly.

Did you dream about food? Why are you laughing like that?

Yun Shaojie gently pushed her, "Sister?"

"Qin Zheng!" Yun Luo suddenly woke up, her little face flushed.

"Huh? You're looking for... Qin Zheng?"

Yun Luo suddenly realized what was going on, "What nonsense are you talking about? You must have misheard me! I said steamed!"

Yun Shaojie had no doubts. No wonder his sister looked like that; she wanted to eat, and he was hungry too. "Sister, get up quickly, Grandma will be calling you again soon."

"I understand," Yun Luo replied, and only breathed a sigh of relief after seeing her younger brother leave.

Why did she have such a dream?

It was just a wet dream!

In her dream, Qin Zheng was lying on the small bed she was sleeping in now, and she was lying in his arms. She still remembers clearly the tingling, heart-fluttering, and limp feeling she had.

She couldn't think about it anymore.

Yunlu covered her face, and only after her face wasn't so hot did she prepare to put on her shoes.

But what's causing that warm, slightly itchy feeling above her chest?

Yunlu scratched it, and it seemed to get even hotter.

Yunluo leaned closer to the crack in the door and, using the light filtering in, tugged at her clothes, revealing a red stain.

Moreover, it was shaped like a fox. She reached out and touched it, but felt nothing; it was just red like a bead of blood.

She remembered that the original owner of the body didn't have any marks on her body.

When did it grow?

"Yunluo." Liu Hehua's sharp voice came.

Yunlu went out. Today, Old Mrs. Liu was wearing a half-new jacket with a front opening. Her hair was smeared with lard and combed until it was shiny. Her face was covered in something white, and Yunlu almost thought that a singer had come.

"Milk."

"Come with me into town. I need to buy some chicks. Go get the chicken coop and help me carry it."

Zhou Rong came over carrying a pile of firewood. "Mother, let me go with you. Xiao Luo isn't well yet."

Liu Hehua gave Zhou Rong a look of utter disdain before reluctantly turning her gaze to Yun Luo.

"Can't you walk? Besides, what kind of delicate child comes from the fields? Do you think you're one of those pampered young ladies from town?"

Yun Luo sneered inwardly. So, she's completely dead, that's why she can't walk?

This old woman must have lost all her conscience!

“I’ll go in my sister’s place; I’m all better now.”

"I'll go, Xiao Jie. You stay home and help your mother with the chores," Yun Luo said. This old woman had no good intentions; she was worried that if Xiao Jie went with her, she would sell him off.

"Let's go," Liu Hehua said coldly.

Three unlucky things, just looking at them makes me angry.

The town they lived in was called Xiuping Town. The town was quite large, but it wasn't far from the village; it only took about 15 minutes to walk there.

The town was bustling, with vendors selling steamed buns, sugar figurines, and everything else imaginable.

Yunluo smelled the aroma of steamed buns, and her rumbling stomach began to protest.

Liu Hehua rolled her eyes and wiped her head. "Let's go to the stalls up ahead and get something to eat first."

Before Yunlu could react, the two of them were already sitting at the stall. "Boss, give each of us a bowl of porridge and two steamed buns."

"Grandma, I want three," Yun Luo said promptly.

She waited for the old lady to start scolding, but to her surprise, her eyes almost popped out of their sockets, yet she reluctantly added another one.

Did the old lady smoke today? So generous!

As soon as the porridge was served, Yunluo picked it up and drank it.

Liu Hehua scoffed, "You look like a starving ghost reincarnated!"
