Tangli Fried Snow

Chapter 57 Divine Soldiers Descend from the Sky: Jiang Qimo

Jin Cheng felt a piercing pain in his thigh and arm, knowing he was injured. He thrust his sword into the enemy's chest with a backhand motion, and with a twist of his wrist, he blocked a sneak attack from the left. Taking advantage of the opponent's retreat, Jin Cheng twirled his sword and chopped off his neck.

The burly man spat blood all over his face before he died. He didn't bother to wipe it off; he could only let the blood spread across his face, from hot to cool, and from wet to dry.

The opposing man was a burly man with a full braid, dressed in fine clothes, and very strong. He was clearly a minor leader. He was incredibly strong and pressed forward relentlessly, wielding a heavy axe with great skill. He fought fiercely with the group of men, and the battle was evenly matched.

The most deadly thing was that he used ruthless moves that could split the enemy in two. Jin Cheng and his men were fighting him, but they couldn't do anything about it for a while. Suddenly, an arrow shot into his thigh. The big man cried out in pain and stopped, exhausted. Jin Cheng seized the opportunity and attacked his wound fiercely. The big man was in so much pain that he finally dropped his axe. Hu Sihai seized the opportunity and stabbed him with his sword. The big man was thick-skinned and thick-fleshed, but he still didn't fall down.

Jin Cheng seized the opportunity and stabbed him in the heart, causing him to fall backward and die instantly.

Although the powerful enemy had fallen, his own strength was gradually being exhausted, and he was already fighting with great difficulty. Unexpectedly, Teng Jie behind him cried out in pain. Jin Cheng turned around and saw that the general had been shot through the arm by an arrow. Another of his personal guards had been cut down. The situation took a sharp turn for the worse. Jin Cheng shouted and jumped up with all his might. He swept his sword horizontally and forced the enemy in front to retreat several steps.

"General, come with me." He said, pulling Teng Jie back towards the rear.

While he was fighting the enemy, he observed his surroundings and saw a group of his own soldiers behind him. He immediately led a few men to move over.

An enemy rushed forward, only to be met with a side kick from Jin Cheng, crashing heavily into someone nearby, both tumbling to the ground. The enemies behind them charged forward like madmen, each a burly man with a thick beard and a small braid.

Jin Cheng stabbed another scarred man in the left arm with his sword and kicked him in the stomach. The man fell to the ground, covered in blood, which soaked his sword. Another person attacked from behind, completely unnoticed by Jin Cheng. Hu Sihai was engaged in a fierce battle with a troublesome Mongol. In a moment of urgency, he moved several feet and took a blow for Jin Cheng, his blood splattering on the spot.

Although Teng Jie was injured, he used all his strength to repel one of the three men who were attacking him. Jin Cheng helped him stab one of them through the stomach, and a big man yelled and slashed at the two of them. No third sword could stop him.

The giant man was at least two meters tall, with a fierce and menacing expression, shouting in an unfamiliar language as he brought down a massive heavy sword that was at least one and a half meters long.

Like a demon from hell.

Just as Teng Jie watched helplessly as his weapon hovered above his head, about to strike him in the next second, he felt a sense of impending doom.

A red-tasseled spear pierced through the throat of the burly man.

The spurting blood, still steaming, splashed in front of the two of them.

The two were overjoyed. Upon closer inspection, they discovered that it was Jiang Qimo, who had come to their rescue on a white horse and carrying a steel spear!

A surge of heroic spirit welled up within them, and they felt a renewed surge of strength. With a burst of energy, they began to fight the enemy.

Jiang Qimo was a fresh force. He led a group of skilled men into the encirclement. Each of them was incredibly brave. In particular, Jiang Qimo, riding a white horse, was a sharpshooter and had excellent skills, causing the enemy to bleed profusely.

A team of nearly a hundred skilled warriors followed him and joined the battle. After a fierce attack, the situation on the battlefield was completely changed.

With the last enemy beside him felled by Jin Cheng, he was finally able to greet the man on horseback: "Lord Jiang! It's been a long time! I must thank you again for saving my life!"

Jiang Qimo laughed heartily, his red-tasseled spear still in his hand, and said while defending against the enemy, "Young Master Jin is too kind. Why don't you take General Teng and head north? The people who fled behind have all gone north, where my five thousand soldiers are. You should retreat quickly."

As he spoke, he unleashed a "Autumn Wind Sweeps Away Fallen Leaves" attack with his spear, knocking down another group of enemies on the opposite side. He then protected the two of them as they fought their way out of the encirclement and struggled northward.

The enemy's encirclement gradually broke through, and the group ran several hundred meters before finally finding the main force. By the time their own cavalry met them, it was past noon.

Although their wounds had been given simple bandages by the medics, everyone was exhausted and covered in dirt, looking quite disheveled. Many of their soldiers who hadn't entered the canyon had also fought their way out of the enemy's ambush and were now slumped on the ground, panting heavily, their faces covered in blood. Despite their sorry state, they had at least survived.

Across from them, the Mongol army's iron cavalry rolled on, slaughtering the remaining soldiers in the valley. A group of fierce warriors guarded a burly man, standing in the middle of the formation, facing them from afar.

This was the first time Jin Cheng had seen Ying Longhua. The Blood Alliance Guards around him were all upright and indomitable men, but the man in the middle was still unforgettable at first glance.

Yinglonghua was over nine and a half feet tall, with broad shoulders and a thick waist. He was covered in iron armor. Although he wore leather armor and iron armor, one could still see that he had a muscular physique comparable to that of a dragon or tiger. Under his helmet, a pair of agile and intelligent eyes gleamed coldly. He pursed his lips and let out a sharp whistle. The Mongol army behind him quickly began to clean up the battlefield.

Ying Longhua, leading nearly a hundred Blood Alliance guards, came and went like a dark cloud, disappearing from the spot.

The soldiers on the other side didn't dare to breathe, everyone was so intimidated by the other side's aura that they couldn't speak.

Jiang Qimo said to Jin Cheng, "That is Ying Longhua. Fortunately, I have a spy here who sent me the news, otherwise you and General Teng would have been ambushed and killed by him today."

Jin Cheng didn't say anything, but felt a cold sweat on his back.
