For the next few days, Angell was in a state of heartbreak.

Um... the one-way kind.

When he wakes up in the morning, he will suddenly take control of his body and start styling his hair, refusing any possibility of going out unkempt. Or at the dinner table, he will say in his mind what he wants to eat.

(In my opinion, the scene where Angor and Draco sit at the table together fixing their hair is very funny.)

At other times, he is unwilling to "go online" at all.

It can be said that they took playing dead to the extreme.

However, since they were essentially the same person, no one noticed anything unusual about Angel handing his body over to Vold.

However, Vold is not entirely Angel, nor is he a performative personality, so playing Angel's character well is not an easy task for him.

Fortunately, even with Angel's previous behavior (although he acted cute and pitiful), he was at least somewhat aloof and focused on himself. As long as he tried to reduce his contact with other people, it wasn't unacceptable.

Other Slytherin students wouldn't force themselves to socialize with him if he deliberately acted unsociable, and they didn't have many opportunities to meet people from other houses (specifically Harry and Ron), not to mention that most freshmen now preferred to spend their time exploring the castle.

If things continue like this, the fragile friendship that blossomed on the train will eventually be worn away by Harry and Ron's passion for Hogwarts.

The biggest problem for him is actually Draco...

As soon as get out of class ended, he would rush to the library to collect books he hadn't read. Draco couldn't stand being in the library, so it wasn't too much of a hassle.

It was alright during class. Although people always assumed they would practice as a team, they never had much time to talk in class.

But they are still roommates.

This leads to...

"Angol, it's getting late...aren't you going to rest?" It was only around nine o'clock at night when Draco asked Angel, rubbing his eyes.

Since the day they had their conversation (Draco thought so), their relationship had remained in a rather delicate but relatively amicable state.

"If you're going to sleep, you can turn off the light first. I have a desk lamp on my desk... I'll go to sleep after I finish reading these few pages." Vold waved the book in his hand.

It's definitely not too late for him right now. Even though he's a child, you can't expect him to fall asleep at this hour.

As for why Draco was so tired in the dormitory... that's a very complicated question.

Draco sat on his bed and said before drawing the bed curtains, "You should get some rest too. Mom says that if you stay up too late, you won't grow tall..."

vold: "...?"

Probably not?

But he went to bed quickly.

Before going to sleep, I took out my diary artifact once again and started a simple chat.

It's not time to actually take action against this Horcrux.

In the Hogwarts classes, Vold also skillfully maintained a proper balance.

He performed better than most students—no, much better—but not to the point of surprising the professors. He presented a very good image of a young wizard who had been exposed to some basic magic beforehand and was born into a pure-blood family.

This was something he had discussed with Angell beforehand.

Vold also heard Hermione Granger's name mentioned by the professors. It was quite obvious that almost all the professors had a good impression of this studious and ambitious young witch.

Until Friday morning, Angor had seen the timetable before and remembered this part of the story, which was the first class that Slytherin and Gryffindor had together—two consecutive Potions classes.

This is a classic scene... at least Angell thinks so. Whether in the novel or the movie, the first Potions class is quite fun.

So he had to see for himself, and so on that morning, he returned by taking over the account.

At the Slytherin table, Angor lowered his head slightly, the switch of his personality completed in an instant.

No one noticed this subtle change in him, not even Draco, who was sitting next to him.

Picking up a pumpkin pie, Angel discreetly surveyed his surroundings.

He remained conscious throughout this period, but regaining control of his body always gave him a sense of unease.

"I checked the schedule, and it seems like today's two classes are back-to-back... which means there's no break time in between!" he heard someone whisper.

"I've heard that Professor Snape cares a lot about house grades, and if you lose too many points in Slytherin, he'll put you in extra detention. Is that true?"

"Daphne, isn't your brother in fifth grade? Could you ask him for us before class?"

"It shouldn't be that bad, right? Well, at least we shouldn't need to worry too much about Potions class, right?"

The man didn't finish his sentence, but everyone understood what he meant.

After all, they're taking classes with Gryffindor students!

Not everyone in this world is the Headmaster of Gryffindor and would be so strict with deducting points from their own house.

Angel drank another glass of milk, and then very casually took the Daily Prophet that Draco had just finished reading.

If you can get a newspaper from someone else, there's no need to buy it yourself; otherwise, it'll just end up being sold as scrap... wait, there's no such thing as a scrap collector in this world.

Breakfast time flew by, and in the little time left before class, Angell read all the newspapers he had accumulated over the past few days in his dormitory.

A report about Lockhart's new book (with a photo of Lockhart stylishly flipping his hair)... is a complete waste of time.

Advertisements for rat poison (a light spray, and your attic will no longer be bothered by rats)... can be of some reference value if you need to poison your attic.

The Ministry of Magic's recent decisions (due to a mermaid injuring someone at a lake, a Muggle Exorcising Charm was cast there to prevent riots in the Muggle world) (and due to the serious misuse of Muggle items in a certain area, fines were increased)... are actually pretty useless changes.

There's also news about lotteries... This thing is just like gambling, and Angell is fully convinced that it's full of shady dealings no matter where you are.

The more Angell looked at it, the more he felt that the Ministry of Magic was really inefficient!

Not only is their prestige in the wizarding world inferior to Dumbledore's, but their economic strength is also inferior to that of several pure-blood families combined.

This government has been a complete failure...
