For Zephyr, capturing the Muggle scientists that Angor wanted and bringing them back to his base was a simple matter.

Because he is a wizard and can use magic, while Muggles are extremely vulnerable in front of wizards unless they use some special weapons.

Angel had great faith in Zephyr's abilities, so he didn't interfere much after assigning the task.

In nearly two years, the research institute is now relatively well-equipped. Angor had Narcissa manage the Muggle world business before, so that the research institute could continue to operate in the future.

Given the current situation, they have more than enough funds.

In addition to the initial two buildings, a nearby abandoned industrial area has also been acquired. Within about two years, that area can be completely transformed into a technology park.

Angell also provided them with sufficient research materials, but unfortunately there have been no results so far.

The only achievement is that mechanical aids can be used to draw magic circles, but this still requires the operation of a wizard.

This invention was of little use to Angell, whose own accuracy already surpassed most machines on the market; using mechanical calibration would only slow him down.

However, for ordinary wizards, as long as they master the basic knowledge about magic circles, they can draw high-difficulty magic circles with the help of precise mechanical devices and measuring tools, and there is basically no risk of explosion.

This approach is actually similar to Angor's own thinking. When ancient wizards drew magic circles, they relied more on intuition and their sense of magic. Dumbledore later added geometry to it, and Angor went a step further on that basis.

If Angor is willing to promote this technology, it is foreseeable that in the near future, magic circles will become one of the mainstream disciplines and be controlled by most wizards.

But Angor wasn't in a hurry; his inspiration to analyze magic using science came about by chance.

The research institute is currently analyzing potions, but this is still something that Muggles cannot do independently. However, with the assistance of machinery, wizards can maintain 100% precision in all operations, which makes potion making much simpler.

Angell was relatively satisfied with the results achieved in less than two years.

……

Angell has other things to do now.

The current time is July 1998.

Draco and the others' NEWTs exams have ended. As the headmaster, Angor has the right to review the students' exam papers, so he naturally learned about Draco's results in advance.

Excellent (O): Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms.

Good (E): Transfiguration, History of Magic, Magic Circles, Arithmetic Divination, Protecting Magical Creatures, Herbalism.

Pass (A): Astronomy, Divination, Muggle Studies.

With only three O's, Angell felt it was barely acceptable, but others thought it was actually quite good.

Take Angor's magic circle course for example; so far, no student has been able to obtain an O rating.

(Even now that Angell has become the principal, he still teaches the course personally—for a very sad reason, apart from him, there is no other professor in the entire wizarding world of Y country who can be competent to teach this course.)

Moreover, Draco gets passing grades in all his subjects, which puts him ahead of most Hogwarts students.

Transfiguration and Potions are also courses that are very difficult to get an O grade for.

(Although it's said that the course on protecting magical creatures was partly due to personal connections, Angor didn't want to worry about those added bonuses. After all, it was already quite difficult for Draco to gain Hagrid's favor.)

(This is thanks to Ron and Hermione taking him to visit Hagrid's cabin every week for the past two years.)

In contrast, Defense Against the Dark Arts received more positive reviews.

From the Basilisk incident onwards, Hogwarts began to place great emphasis on this subject.

Later, when Voldemort was resurrected, many students took the initiative to practice this in their spare time.

Furthermore, with Angor's decision to make the Duel Club a permanent course, Hogwarts students can now spend twice as much time on this course compared to previous years.

Draco didn't seem to care much about his results, but Angel could tell that he wasn't actually satisfied.

But his dissatisfaction likely stemmed more from the comparison with Angell's initial results—Apart from divination, Angell's scores were all zeros.

“When I took the exams, I didn’t have as many subjects as you. I didn’t study protecting magical creatures or Muggle research,” Angor said with a laugh, patting Draco’s arm.

Draco blushed instantly when his inner thoughts were suddenly seen through: "I just... feel like I could have done better on the test!"

"But it's nothing... anyway, I don't need to use my grades to look for a job..."

"Alright, alright, three Os is already quite an achievement. Hermione only has one more than you, and she didn't even study divination. You've completed twelve subjects without failing a single one, which is already very impressive!"

"Besides, no one in the History of Magic got an O grade this year. I'm planning to change the History of Magic teacher next year. Professor Binns is a very good teacher, but how should I put it... he's too much of a torment for top students."

"And Professor Trelawney is also leaving Hogwarts. I introduced her to the Ministry of Magic. I think the Department of Mysteries needs her more than Hogwarts."

Draco nodded somewhat uncomfortably; he thought so too. But how to put it... just listening to his younger brother decide to expel his teacher... this scene was really bizarre!

Angell found his expression quite amusing, so he continued:

“This trip isn’t just a simple vacation. Snape has also resigned… He was planning to leave last year, but he decided to stay for another year. He said he might return to Hogwarts in a few years, but in the meantime he wants to do something for himself.”

"This also means that Hogwarts is now missing a Potions professor, a Divination professor, and a History of Magic professor..."

"Fortunately, with Voldemort's death, the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor is no longer a consumable that is replaced every year, otherwise our pressure would be even greater."

They were on a train to Paris, surrounded by noisy Muggles, but thanks to magic, they had a relatively quiet little space.

Just then, Angell saw the shopkeeper pushing a cart pass by. He gently patted the wand in his pocket, and the sound-blocking spell was lifted.

"Two bottles of Coke and two bags of potato chips!" he shouted to the cashier.

Once the snacks arrived, Draco tore open the bag of potato chips. He looked at the potato chips inside with some curiosity, and after trying one, his furrowed brows relaxed.

“But Angell, why are we squeezing onto a Muggle train, especially a regular one?”

Angel looked around: "Don't you think this is very lifelike? No matter how much you study Muggle studies, it can't compare to living among Muggles for a period of time."

"Oh, wait..."

Draco opened the can of cola in front of him.

then……

The cola exploded.

Angor watched Draco frantically trying to deal with the Coke spraying everywhere, and after a few seconds of holding back, he finally burst into laughter along with the Muggles around him.
