The casting call for "Baogang Inspector Wears Skirts" was a huge success, and everyone in the industry knew about it. Countless actors went to audition.

With such a grand production, not only those in the industry but also those outside it learned that Shengshi Entertainment was going to make a movie, with the lead actress being Hu Xiaoxiao, the most popular and hottest action star in Hong Kong.

Shengshi Entertainment's influence outside the industry far outweighs its influence within it. Within the industry, Shengshi Entertainment hasn't released a single film and is still a new company; if it weren't for Hu Xiaoxiao joining the company, they'd never even heard of it. Therefore, major film companies generally consider Shengshi Entertainment as: a complete novice.

But outside the circle, Huang Yuliang, a young man from Taiwan, actually went to the locals to seize territory and took over a piece of land in District 5. This move was like a slap in the face to the local gangs.

Local gangs had long wanted to deal with Huang Yuliang and reclaim their share of the spoils. However, the Changxing Society had no objections, and the Yihai Gang remained silent. Other gangs dared not act rashly for the time being, and were mostly observing, watching the attitudes of the Changxing Society and the Yihai Gang, and how much support they actually had for Shengshi and Huang Yuliang.

Although the Cheung Hing Society and the Yee Hai Gang are both the largest triads in Po Kong, they have always kept to themselves. How did Wong Yu Leung manage to manage both of these major triads at the same time?

Some daring gangs began testing the waters to gauge the reactions of the two major organizations.

After filming began for "Baogang Inspector Wears Skirts", Huang Yuliang got busy. In his territory in District 5, people would come and cause trouble from time to time, and he needed to bring people over to keep things under control.

Hu Xiaoxiao paid little attention to outside affairs and devoted herself to the movie "Baogang Inspector Flower".

The story of "The Invincible Flower of Baogang" begins with a Southeast Asian drug kingpin entering Baogang to secretly make a deal with Cat Brother, a local gang.

The character of Cat in the script is inspired by Tiger from the San Ren Society, referring to the case in the story, which actually happened. However, in reality, the police didn't have evidence of their transaction, nor did they intercept the goods. Plus, Tiger had a top lawyer's help, so the case was ultimately dropped.

However, in the adapted film script, the case must ultimately be solved so that the perpetrators are caught red-handed and the bad guys are punished.

Hong Kong films often directly borrow stories from real people and cases; Shengshi Entertainment isn't the first company to do this. After the Sanren Society became history and Tiger and his associates fell from power, many film companies used the Sanren Society's exploits and the heinous crimes committed by Tiger and his gang to create stories. Some were direct copies, while others were adapted into various versions.

The Sanren Society has wreaked havoc in Baogang for so many years, and the numerous incidents they've committed are enough for filmmakers to make hundreds of movies about. Even the incident where Brother Hu sent people to cause trouble when Hu Xiaoxiao was filming "Cheng Zhaofeng" has been made into a movie and is about to be released.

After selecting the four female leads for "The Inspector Wears Skirts of Hong Kong," Leung Ka-fung made a few minor changes to the casting to better suit the actresses' personalities.

Yuan An'er plays Daisy, who has short hair, wears black, and has an introverted and serious personality.

The clothing designs are predominantly black, and layering is used to add depth and elongate the body proportions.

Xiong Caiwei plays Arya, a cheerful and outgoing character who loves to laugh and is quite talkative. Her style is predominantly sexy, contrasting sharply with Yuan An'er's.

Elan plays Wendy, a character who is rough around the edges, dresses androgynously, is unconventional, and likes to whistle at men with good physiques.

The lead actress, Hu Xiaoxiao, plays Yunxiao, a calm and intelligent police chief who dresses simply and is often seen in sportswear.

Liang Jiafeng made many changes to Hu Xiaoxiao's character design, but he always felt that something was missing. It wasn't until he saw Hu Xiaoxiao standing with a group of artists, and even though she was dressed simply and without makeup, she was still the highlight of the crowd, that he finally understood why no matter how he wrote it, it just didn't feel right.

Hu Xiaoxiao herself is too charming; no matter how she's portrayed, it's far less captivating than she is in real life. The more she's portrayed, the more her charisma is overshadowed.

Liang Jiafeng simply didn't set any specific characters, only creating the story, leaving the acting to Hu Xiaoxiao. As for costumes, even a simple tracksuit showcased her perfect figure and气质 (qi zhi - a combination of temperament, bearing, and presence). Especially when she wore a uniform, her气质 and aura were simply stunning.

With her shoulder-length short hair, she looked dashing and heroic, exuding both grandeur and a fierce aura.

"Xiaoxiao!" Cao Yuanxiang and Fang Qide arrived at the film set with their men and greeted Hu Xiaoxiao when they saw her.

Hu Xiaoxiao smiled when she saw the two familiar faces. "You two teachers are here too?"

Fang Qide walked over and said with a smile, "Yes, we're working together again this time."

Cao Yuanxiang also said, "I hope to have a pleasant collaboration again!"

"Definitely! We will definitely create new glories!" Hu Xiaoxiao said, bumping fists with them.

Cao Yuanxiang and Fang Qide were assistants that Nie Jinlong hired from the stunt team when Hu Xiaoxiao was filming "Mu Guiying".

At the time, she and Nie Jinlong wanted to make a different kind of martial arts TV series, pursuing realistic martial arts action. To make it well, the actors needed to be skilled in martial arts, but few of the TV station's artists met the requirements. So Nie Jinlong recruited people from the stunt industry, including Cao Yuanxiang and Fang Qide.

When the TV series "Mu Guiying" was released, it allowed the people of Baogang to enjoy action scenes that rivaled those in movies for the first time. "Mu Guiying" also broke viewership records, surpassing the ratings of Baozhu TV's "Shangwu Jingshen" (Martial Spirit). This legend still circulates in the television industry today.

This was our second collaboration, and everyone was already familiar with each other. The atmosphere on set was more harmonious than in any of Hu Xiaoxiao's previous films.

Cao Yuanxiang hasn't acted in a long time. The reason he came back this time was because he saw Hu Xiaoxiao's martial arts skills in the movie "Cheng Zhaofeng" and was inspired to have another chance to act.

However, for Cao Yuanxiang, making a film that he truly enjoys is not easy. First, he needs strong enough opponents to make the action scenes exciting and the filming interesting. He visited several film crews, but none of them met his expectations.

There are few authentic kung fu movies; those that have already started filming have already cast their actors. Most other action movies are lighthearted comedies, which he finds lacking in action. He also doesn't want to make any small-budget, low-quality films.

After looking around and not finding one that suited his taste, he heard that Nie Jinlong had gone to Shengshi Entertainment to work as a martial arts choreographer, so he immediately contacted Nie Jinlong and asked him to let him know if there were any suitable martial arts films.

Then, upon hearing that Hu Xiaoxiao was starring in a movie with many action scenes, Cao Yuanxiang immediately packed his things and came over for an audition.

In "The Inspector Wears Skirts of Hong Kong", Tsao Yuan-hsiang plays Ruan Xiong, a ruthless and vicious drug kingpin in Southeast Asia.

Fang Qide originally wanted to play Cat Brother, but he was handsome and had a good image and temperament, which was completely inversely proportional to Cat Brother's physique and ferocity. Hu Xiaoxiao let him play the superior officer, as he was suitable for the image of a superior officer.
