Pang Biao's face flushed red with anger, his eyes flashing with fury. He clenched his fist tightly and slammed it against the tree trunk with a dull thud. However, the punch didn't seem to vent his anger; instead, it sent a sharp pain through him.

"Hiss~" Pang Biao gasped, wincing in pain. His expression contorted, and fine beads of sweat appeared on his forehead. But he still endured the pain and continued cursing, "Damn it, don't think I should thank you just because you saved me! You people don't deserve my gratitude at all!"

His voice was filled with resentment and bitterness, as if he wanted to vent all his dissatisfaction. Despite his physical pain, his anger was unquenchable, burning relentlessly. He blamed all the suffering he'd endured that night on Gu Jingxing and Shi Huai'an. If it weren't for their cat, he wouldn't have ended up in this godforsaken place, almost losing his life. They were only right to save him; he shouldn't have been so merciful as to forgive them. Hmph, he'd make them pay later!

At this moment, "Old Black" also returned from the jungle, leading the limping Pang Biao down the mountain...

Meanwhile, Fatty Orange led Huai'an deeper into the mountains, eventually stopping at the entrance of a very secluded cave.

The cave was completely hidden by tall, dense weeds, and its existence would be difficult to detect unless one was specifically looking for it.

Huai'an followed Fatty Orange into the cave out of curiosity. At first, the cave entrance was very small, and you had to bend over to get in. It was pitch black inside and you couldn't see anything clearly.

She took out a flashlight from her spatial storage and shone it around. The cave was empty inside. Further in, the cave grew larger, allowing a person to stand upright and move forward. There was a winding passage leading to the depths. The cave walls were uneven, and there were often protruding rocks on the ceiling, threatening to cause one to bump their head if not careful.

The orange cat rushed ahead, while Huai'an cautiously looked around as he walked forward along the passage, his heart filled with doubt and anticipation.

When she reached the end of the passage, the scene before her was astonishing. Deep inside the cave, there was a pile of items covered with rags, which looked rather eerie in the pitch-black cave. Huai'an hesitated and stopped, while Duoduo jumped up and hopped around, probably feeling like there was a hard box underneath.

With gritted teeth and a surge of courage, Huai'an ripped off the rag, and dust immediately billowed out. Huai'an covered his mouth and nose with his hands, took a few steps back, and shone his flashlight on the ground. He saw that there were four or five large wooden boxes piled together, as well as two small boxes with solid wood patterns, which looked very heavy.

Huai'an stepped forward and opened one of the large boxes, immediately stunned by its contents. The box was overflowing with brand-new firearms and ammunition! The presence of these weapons was completely beyond her imagination, leaving her speechless. The large box underneath couldn't be moved or opened, so Huai'an opened a smaller box next to it. Inside were rolls of banknotes and various nationally valid food coupons, cloth coupons… everything imaginable. She reached in and, even more surprisingly, found it filled with gold bars, commonly known as "little yellow croakers." Wow! This was incredibly unexpected and shocking; she had never seen so much glittering gold in her entire life. Opening another small box revealed the same thing.

"What...what's going on?" Huai'an stared wide-eyed at everything before him in disbelief, his mind racing as he tried to comprehend this sudden turn of events.

Fat Orange meowed and said, "Meow~ Yesterday, one of my subordinate cats told me that someone was hiding something in the cave. I was planning to come and check it out, but then Pang Biao came with people and dogs to block us. They chased us and wouldn't let go, and even threatened to catch the cat and skin it. Old Black has a very keen sense of smell and kept staring at us, so we couldn't shake him off. Later, I discussed it with the system and decided to lure them up the mountain to teach them a lesson. If it weren't for you repeatedly telling us not to hurt humans, I really would have killed him."

Meow~ Cats are so annoying, but the dog problem is solved. I originally wanted to cripple it with a rocket, or at least make it stupid, but after talking to Old Black, I recruited it. Old Black was quite sensible; it backed down as soon as I showed it the laser gun. It realized it couldn't beat me and simply surrendered. It even said that as long as we don't hurt these boys, it will be fine, and it will make the dogs and cats in its territory live in harmony and won't be our enemy.

So last night, we were just circling around in the woods with Pang Biao to scare him, we didn't hurt him. Who knew two wild boars would suddenly appear? Lao Hei and I even helped him deal with the first one. This Pang Biao is really ungrateful, he didn't thank me at all, and he still wants to get himself killed.

Huai'an nodded. Some people are just born with evil and thuggish logic. They won't learn their lesson unless they're really hurt and will keep causing trouble. We'll deal with them as they come.

She suddenly widened her eyes and asked, "You showed us a rocket? Did Pang Biao and the others see it?"

"Meow~ I'm not that stupid, of course I won't let humans see, don't worry!" the fat orange cat said smugly.

Huai'an pondered for a moment and said, "I think this person is a leopard that can't change its spots. As I told you last time, have the cat keep a close eye on their house. Don't be careless."

Duoduo meowed and said, "Meow~ Dogs are much better than him. I will pass on the order to monitor Pang Biao's family 24 hours a day until things improve."

Huai'an thought to herself, "I can't expect things to get better; let's take preventative measures first." She began to consider the purpose and source of the supplies in the caves. She realized that these might be funds and weapons left behind by spies, and they had to be handed over to the police.

Without thinking twice, she used her mind to move the two small boxes full of gold bars into her spatial storage, intending to sort them out later. The remaining large boxes of weapons, however, had to be left behind; reporting them to the police might lead to the discovery of anti-government elements, the capture of spies, and the elimination of a menace for the people, potentially earning her a reward for her meritorious service.

Shi Huai'an decided to protect the other clues and not disturb the scene, letting the police investigate.

Shi Huai'an looked at the chubby orange in his arms, wondering what to do next.

Her stomach was growling with hunger, so she took out a can of cat food from her spatial storage and put it outside for the stray cats. The six cats outside immediately surrounded her. She counted them: one calico cat, three tabby cats, and two black cats, a total of six. These were the members of Fat Orange's Galaxy Rocket Guard Team. After two days and one night of fighting, they were all unharmed. Their fighting power was top-notch, and they could even fight together. She couldn't help but give Fat Orange a thumbs up.

Fatty Orange couldn't help but feel smug. Huai'an then took out milk and a seafood pizza from his spatial storage and started eating them heartily.

Just as he was finishing his meal, he suddenly heard light footsteps outside. "Someone's coming!" Huai'an's heart tightened, and he immediately became alert. He quickly found a place to hide and nervously watched the direction of the cave entrance.

The footsteps grew closer, and Huai'an's heart leaped into his throat. Finally, a figure appeared at the cave entrance. Huai'an looked closely and saw it was Gu Jingxing. Seeing him, Huai'an's tension instantly vanished, replaced by an inexplicable joy and peace of mind.

She emerged from her hiding place with a delighted smile on her face and asked softly, "How did you find this place?" Her tone was tinged with curiosity and doubt.

"Wow! What's this? It smells so good!" Gu Jingxing took the pizza from her hand without any hesitation, took a bite, and exclaimed, "Delicious! Where did you get it?"

"Hmm, inside..." Huai'an's eyes darted around as she spoke, inwardly blaming herself for being so careless as to forget to put the pizza away. She had no choice but to change the subject, saying, "Why are you here?"

Gu Jingxing didn't blame her for leaving without saying goodbye. While eating, he said in a simple and honest way, "Just follow the stray cats. When I got to this area, I saw a few stray cats outside acting as lookouts, so I guessed you were here." He even tore off a piece and said, "This is enough for me. You eat."

Shi Huai'an waved her hand and said, "I'm full, you eat." She then explained, "Pang Biao was still there, and it wasn't convenient for him to stay, so I left first. Duoduo discovered this cave, and there's something inside that needs to be reported to the police immediately."

Gu Jingxing peered inside in surprise, and Shi Huai'an simply pulled him in to see the large boxes. Sure enough, he was startled too, and the two immediately began to discuss what was going on.

Gu Jingxing frowned, then glanced at the leftover cans of food left by the stray cats outside and said, "Are they all from the cave? Don't eat random things in the future, it's not good if something bad happens."

Then he said earnestly to Huai'an, "Let's go down and report it together. The bicycle is still down the mountain." His tone was firm and decisive, as if this was something that had to be done.

However, Huai'an shook her head and replied, "Go ahead, I'll stay here." Her eyes revealed a hint of determination and resolve.

Upon hearing this, Gu Jingxing looked at Huai'an anxiously, knowing that this decision might put Huai'an in danger. So, he tried to persuade Huai'an to change his mind, saying, "How can that be? What if the bad guys come back and find you out...?" His voice was full of worry and unease.

Huai'an said, "The spies definitely wouldn't dare go up the mountain during the day; they'll probably come back at night."

Gu Jingxing said without room for argument, "Anyway, you can't stay here alone, it's too dangerous. Otherwise, you go and report it to the police, and I'll stay here."

After some argument, Huai'an followed Gu Jingxing's advice, and the two left the cave together and went down the mountain to report the case.

Fat Orange Dodo left a few cats to guard the cave, then jumped onto Gu Jingxing's shoulder and went down the mountain with them.

Pang Biao and Yang Yong's parents, along with two police officers, also arrived at the scene.

Upon hearing that there were still people on the mountain who hadn't come down, the two police officers reacted quickly, taking their loyal black dog "Old Black" with them and setting off on their way up the mountain without hesitation. Just then, they unexpectedly encountered Gu Jingxing and Huai'an halfway up the mountain.

Gu Jingxing's face lit up with joy, and he hurriedly stepped forward to report their important discovery to the police officers. Upon hearing this, the two officers' expressions turned serious, and they immediately decided to go to the cave together to investigate. One of the officers, without hesitation, went down the mountain to report to his superiors and request more police support.

The police officers praised Gu Jingxing and his colleagues, saying, "You've done a great service this time!" Gu Jingxing quickly waved his hand and explained, "It was Shi Huai'an and her cat who discovered the cave; I dare not take credit for it." The orange cat Duoduo, not to be outdone, immediately let out a clear meow, indicating that it was also one of the heroes.

Everyone laughed. When another group of police officers arrived, they had Huai'an take a statement and record the discovery process in detail.

Huai'an casually explained that she and her orange cat had only stumbled upon the cave by chance. Because the cave contained dangerous weapons, she felt somewhat frightened. Therefore, she immediately discussed it with Gu Jingxing, who had come with her, and they decided to report it to the local police.

Gu Jingxing actively cooperated with the police investigation and gave a detailed statement. The police officers indicated they might contact them again after the investigation was completed, and left their detailed address.

Finally, the two breathed a sigh of relief and left the mysterious mountain together.

As Shi Huai'an walked, he stroked Duo Duo's soft fur. Duo Duo seemed to sense its owner's love and let out a gentle whimper.

Gu Jingxing watched this scene, his heart filled with emotion. He knew that for Huai'an, Duoduo was more than just a pet; she was family. And now, they were finally reunited.

"It seems it went through an adventure," Gu Jingxing said with a smile.

The chubby orange cat meowed. On the way, the orange cat had been quietly lying on Huai'an's shoulder and started to doze off.

When they reached the foot of the mountain, Pang Biao and his family, as well as Ma Yang and Yang Yong's families, were waiting there. When they saw Gu Jingxing and Shi Huaian safely descend the mountain, they all gathered around and asked about the situation.

Ma Yang asked, "Why are there so many police officers? Has something happened on the mountain?"

Yang Yong also pulled Gu Jingxing aside and asked, "Are you alright? Did you run into wild boars again?" They had already learned about the dangerous encounter with wild boars on the mountain from Pang Biao.

"It's nothing, the police are handling it and they've asked us to keep it confidential, so it's not convenient to talk about it now. You'll all find out later." Gu Jingxing replied cautiously, "Don't tell anyone either, it'll alert them. Everyone go back and just pretend you didn't see the police enter the mountains."

He picked up his bicycle, got on, and gestured for Huai'an to get on and prepare to go down the mountain.

"What's so great about you? What good things could happen on the mountain? Did you discover a treasure... and you're keeping it a secret!" Pang Biao said angrily, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

The orange cat, Duoduo, meowed and gave him a warning look.

Pang Biao's face darkened further, and he said angrily, "It's all because of you, you stinky cat! It's because of you that we have to spend the night here!" He picked up another stone, ready to throw it at the orange cat.

However, at that moment, his father slapped him hard across the face and scolded him, "Instead of doing your homework at home, all you do is act tough and fight outside. Even a cat can make you lose your temper like this. What kind of future do you have?"

Pang Biao was beaten so badly that he dared not reply, and could only stare at Huai An and the fat orange cat with hateful eyes.

Pang Biao's mother protectively shielded her son to the side, her eyes filled with worry and anger. Pointing at the crowd, she shouted, "Look at you all! Look at you all! My precious son was kept awake all night, how dangerous! You, as his father, not only don't care about him, but you even hit him! What kind of logic is that? If you have the guts, come at me! Luckily, my son is alright, otherwise none of you would be able to shirk responsibility! You're all a bunch of lawless little bastards! How could you let that cat commit such a crime? I think that cat should be caught and killed immediately. With food so scarce these days, who has the spare grain to keep a cat? You kids are so irresponsible! I'm going to find your parents and give them a good talking to!"

Shi Huai'an was speechless. Like mother, like son. She picked up the chubby orange Duo Duo and put her on the back of the bicycle. She held Gu Jingxing's waist and said, "Let's go."

The two men rode off dismissively, leaving the others looking at each other in bewilderment. They all stood up and said, "Let's go down the mountain too."
