Pretty young anchorwoman: Big brother, come into my bowl!

Chapter 55: Emo Rabbit and Xixi Make Their First Appearance

The motorcycle, as dazzling as flames, sped along the winding mountain road.

The man wearing a helmet of the same color smirked, twisted the accelerator, and sped around a corner almost like lightning, leaving the cars behind far behind. Vita was far ahead of everyone else.

Tu Zhiyan won the championship without any suspense. He took off his helmet, revealing his brilliant blond hair, which seemed to glow faintly in the night.

The crowd waiting at the finish line was in a frenzy.

"Young Master Tu~ You look so handsome tonight, so handsome that my legs are weak~" A woman in a tight leather jacket came up to him and tried to take his hand in a familiar manner.

She's a real money magnet; if I manage to win her over tonight...

Before she could even finish her dream, the man skillfully avoided her hand and walked away as if she hadn't seen him at all.

Another man who had witnessed the whole thing chuckled and put his arm around Tu Zhiyan's shoulder, saying in a nonchalant tone, "That one was pretty good, fair-skinned, beautiful, long-legged, and quite well-endowed. Why didn't you like her?"

He winked, his words full of teasing of his friend and disdain for women.

Tu Zhiyan frowned in annoyance and waved the man's hand away, saying, "I'm not interested in this kind of thing."

He paused, then continued, "Alright, you should say less."

Although he was indifferent to women who took the initiative to approach him, his upbringing made him unwilling to hear such disrespectful language.

If there absolutely has to be a girl...

Tu Zhiyan fell into deep thought.

"Hello? Hello! Ah Yan!"

Tu Zhiyan's thoughts were interrupted by a hand waving in front of her eyes. She came back to her senses, nodded perfunctorily, and indicated that she had heard him.

"Going out all night tonight? I heard Old Lin's club got a batch of new cars, shall we go check them out?"

My best friend sent me an invitation to stay up all night having fun.

Tu Zhiyan's heart fluttered for a second.

Then, with a heavy heart, I rejected him.

"No, my brother is home today."

"There's really no other way," the friend shrugged, then patted Tu Zhiyan's shoulder reassuringly. "Then I'll have Lao Lin keep your best cars?"

Tu Zhiyan nodded and continued to let his thoughts wander.

The thought of not being able to watch her live stream for the next few days is really boring; even racing isn't interesting anymore...

The bunny is feeling emo.

Meanwhile, the protagonist in the other's thoughts was reluctantly peeling garlic for his mother.

"You're still not happy? Xixi always listens to her older sister the most. I remember you used to love playing with Xixi when you were little. How come you've become distant now that you're older?"

Xu's mother was also quite puzzled. Her daughter had always been a good-tempered person, so why had she become so resistant to Xixi in recent years?

Logically speaking, if you really disliked someone, you would have been inseparable from them just a few years ago, and even going to school together was a bittersweet experience.

Xu Qingyi choked up.

Why……

She remained silent, pretending not to hear her mother's nagging, and began to immerse herself in peeling garlic.

Yan He, the head chef, who had just returned from get off work and entered the kitchen, glanced at Xu Qingyi and said gently to Xu's mother, "It's normal for children to have some friction. Qingqing is a good child. You should pay more attention to me."

Mrs. Xu couldn't help but glare at the man.

The child is still alive.

Yan He calmly said to his stepdaughter, "Alright, Qingqing, give me the garlic, and we can make a garlic dish."

Xu Qingyi skillfully pretended not to see anything and silently handed over the peeled garlic.

The sound of the door lock turning came from the entryway.

Da da da.

A clear voice rang out.

"I am back."
