Pretty young anchorwoman: Big brother, come into my bowl!
Chapter 13, Progress in Progress
"Ms. Xu, what do you think of this apartment with one unit per floor?" The real estate agent opened the door and gestured for Qingyi to enter.
"This apartment is about 300 square meters, which is very spacious. If one person lives here, the spare guest room can be converted into other functional rooms."
As Qingyi looked around the house with the agent's explanation, she found it to be quite nice. Compared to the other houses she had seen that morning, this one had excellent lighting and layout, and was easy to communicate with. In particular, the decoration suited her aesthetic taste perfectly, and it was fully furnished with basic furniture and appliances, so she could move in immediately. It was perfect for someone like her who needed to move urgently.
"If you're not satisfied with this one, we have other rooms available." Seeing that Qingyi remained silent for a while, the agent seemed to think she was dissatisfied and said with a smile.
Qingyi shook her head. "I think this apartment is quite nice. How much is the monthly rent?"
When the agent heard that she liked the apartment, he got excited and said, "The monthly rent is 17,000 yuan, but it will be slightly lower if you rent it for a longer period."
The real estate agent held up two fingers.
"Let's rent for a year first. By the way, do you provide moving services?"
"Yes, yes, that's fine." She nodded repeatedly. "Besides moving, we also offer organization and tidying services. It can be done in one day, but the price is a little bit higher." The agent held up one index finger.
"Sure, when should we sign the contract?"
"You can do it now." The agent pulled out a prepared contract from her bag; all that was needed was to fill in a few numbers.
"Ms. Xu, the lease is for one year, and I can reduce the rent to 1 yuan. The rent is one month's deposit and three months' rent in advance, plus moving and tidying service fees. I'll give you a discount on the service fees, so the total is 5 yuan." He typed rapidly on the calculator, then handed the finished product to Qingyi.
Qingyi took the contract, looked at it, and carefully checked it again. After confirming that there were no problems, she signed it.
I paid the fee using the POS machine the real estate agent took out of her bag, told her my moving address for tomorrow, and then took a taxi to the city center.
I finally found a place after spending the whole morning looking at apartments; the process was pretty efficient. I'll go check out that dance studio this afternoon.
Qingyi casually entered a Japanese restaurant, and the waiter came over to greet her very enthusiastically. A little overwhelmed by the waiter's overly enthusiastic attitude, she had no choice but to order some dishes based on the waiter's recommendations.
I opened my phone and saw a green bubble notification.
When she opened the message, she found that both Rabbit and Star had sent her messages. Rabbit asked if she was going to broadcast tonight, and if so, what time. Star complained to her about how she randomly connected to Strawberry yesterday, and Strawberry had a long face the whole time, which made her laugh so hard.
I answered Rabbit's question first, then sent a few cute emojis to Xingxingzi, without saying anything else.
After a brief chat, the dishes we ordered were gradually served.
Qingyi didn't particularly enjoy the food. The cooked food was okay, but he couldn't eat a single bite of the raw food. He picked out the food he could tolerate, ate until he was half full, and then paid the bill and left.
……
Following the map navigation, Qingyi finally found the dance studio she had contacted through Green Bubble. Standing at the door, Qingyi dialed the number of the person in charge.
"Hello? I'm already at the studio door."
"Okay, okay, I'll be right out. Oh, I can already see you." A cool girl was waving at her from inside the glass door.
"You came so fast! I thought it would be a while longer." The cool girl pushed open the door to welcome her in.
Qingyi: "I didn't have anything to do this afternoon, so I came a little early. I hope I didn't keep you busy?"
The cool girl scratched her head. "No, we have a lot of dance instructors, so we're not actually that busy."
"Let me show you the classroom where a class is currently in session." He said, leading Qingyi inside.
Qingyi didn't refuse and followed the cool girl's lead to tour everyone's classes. The studio taught many dance styles, including jazz, modern, hip-hop, and K-pop. The teachers all looked incredibly charming when they danced.
The cool girl quickly showed her around and then found a meeting room for her to sit down.
"Sorry, we only have bottled water in our studio," the cool girl poured a glass of water, placed it on the table, and pushed it towards her. "I've just taken a quick look; what do you think?"
Qingyi hugged the cup and took a sip of water.
"All the teachers seem to be very skilled, but I don't know what type of dance to learn right now."
"Could you tell me why you're learning to dance?"
Qingyi put down her cup. "It's like this, my profession is that of a live streamer, mainly to have some talent to show during the live streams."
"Oh, I see." The cool girl nodded. "Then it's best to learn a finished dance routine directly. Do you have any prior experience with it?"
"Hmm... I learned it for a few years in elementary school." Qingyi cracked her knuckles. "Does that count?"
It's the kind of school that only runs during the summer vacation each year.
"I think I understand. I recommend you learn K-pop dance. You can learn a simple dance in just two or three days." The cool girl handed her a brochure.
"These are the teachers in our studio. The types of dances they know and their prices are listed here. You can take a look for yourself."
Qingyi took the book and flipped through a few pages, discovering that they were all one-to-many teaching methods.
"Do you offer one-on-one tutoring? I think one-on-one tutoring might be more efficient." She placed the booklet on the table.
The cool girl seemed a little surprised, "One-on-one lessons are available, but the price will be more than double."
After thinking it over, Qingyi still felt that having one teacher for many students might not be able to provide constant guidance, and she still needed to learn the new dance efficiently.
"It's okay, as long as the teacher's instruction is effective," she said.
Qingyi and the cool girl discussed for a while before deciding on three hours of teaching every day, with the cool girl, also known as Teacher Qianqian, serving as the one-on-one dance teacher.
