Chapter Ninety-Three: Arguing

Fu Siying stopped in her tracks and stared blankly at Mo Canglan.

"What did you say?"

Mo Canglan tightened his cloak and patiently repeated, "The Emperor intends to summon your sister to the palace."

"Impossible!" Fu Siying exclaimed in surprise, attracting the attention of many people.

Suppressing her surprise and panic, she quickly lowered her voice and asked Mo Canglan, "Why did the Emperor summon my sister to the palace? This is too sudden!"

Her gaze towards Mo Canglan unconsciously carried suspicion and questioning. Was it possible that, after her, he and the Emperor were also plotting against Yunzhi's marriage, using Yunzhi's lifelong happiness to bind the Fu family's loyalty?
