After navigating a deep, winding passageway, the three finally arrived at a spacious circular hall. In the center of the hall, a massive magic circle emitted a pale blue light, its intricate runes resembling flowing galaxies, a mysterious and ancient aura permeating the air. The hall's walls were constructed of some unknown black rock, radiating a cold aura; only the light from the magic circle brought a touch of warmth to the space.

Jukeli involuntarily gasped, his eyes gleaming with astonishment. He cautiously reached out, wanting to touch the beautiful runes, his fingertips feeling the faint energy fluctuations emanating from the magic circle, a slight, electric-like stimulation to his nerves, yet he withdrew his fingers at the last second. A strange sense of awe welled up within him, making him hesitant to touch this ancient magic circle imbued with such immense power.

"Is this the legendary guiding array?" Jukeli asked softly, his voice filled with awe.

Xiao Bai's voice rang in Zhu Keli's ears, tinged with mystery and excitement: "That's right, this is the legendary guiding array. Only through it can we find the way to Dragon Lake." Xiao Bai's voice seemed to come from all directions, echoing in the empty hall, adding to the mystery.

Just as Jukeli was about to ask how to activate the magic circle, Xiaobai interrupted, saying, "But to activate it, you need three things: a 'heart of courage,' a 'eye of wisdom,' and a 'hand of strength.'"

Upon hearing this, Adrian stared intently at the magic circle, a confident smile spreading across his face. He straightened his back and said in a booming voice, "What's so difficult about that? I possess the courage of a knight, naturally representing the 'heart of courage.'" He gripped the sword at his waist tightly, his eyes resolute, as if he were ready to face any challenge.

As he spoke, he turned to look at Juklee, a teasing smile playing on his lips: "Juklee, your wit and resourcefulness must represent the 'Eye of Wisdom,' right?"

Upon hearing this, Juckley's eyes widened in disbelief as he looked at Adrian. "Wait a minute! How did you conclude that I'm clever and resourceful? I'm clearly an honest and reliable young man!" He scratched his head, a wronged expression on his face, but secretly prayed that he could truly shoulder the responsibility of the "Eye of Wisdom."

Adrian chuckled dismissively and continued, "As for the 'Hand of Power'..." His gaze fell on Avril, a hint of admiration flashing in his eyes, "It belongs to none other than Princess Avril."

Avril scoffed at Adrian's arrangement. She proudly raised her chin, her eyes gleaming with defiant arrogance: "Who says I only have strength? My wisdom and courage are no less than yours!" Her voice was filled with confidence and pride. "I can pass all the trials by myself!" She gripped her magic wand tightly, the gem embedded in its tip radiating a dazzling light, as if echoing the powerful force within her.

Adrian's eyes flashed with surprise upon hearing Avril's words, then a playful smile curled at the corner of his lips. "In that case," his voice carried a challenging tone, "let us each accept the trial and prove ourselves!"

As soon as the words were spoken, three portals of light suddenly appeared on the walls of the hall, emitting red, blue, and gold light respectively. The three were startled by this sudden change and instinctively took a step back. The moment the portals appeared, the entire hall trembled slightly, and the light from the magic circle became even more dazzling, as if foreshadowing the upcoming challenge.

Jukeli quickly snapped out of his daze, his eyes gleaming with excitement. He eagerly asked, "Looks like this is the entrance to the trial! Who wants to go first?" He rubbed his hands together, feeling both nervous and excited, impatient to face this unknown trial.

“I’ll go first!” Adrian said without hesitation, straightening his back and striding towards the red portal. The red light flickered like flames, seemingly foreshadowing the difficulty and danger of the Trial of Courage. The moment he stepped into the portal, he glanced back at Juckley and Avril, a flicker of worry in his eyes, but it was quickly replaced by determination. The portal slowly closed behind him, the red light gradually fading, leaving only the cold, black rock face.

Juckley and Avril waited anxiously. Juckley paced back and forth restlessly, glancing frequently at the red portal, his brow furrowed. He worried about Adrian's safety and whether he himself could successfully pass the trial.

"Xiao Bai, what kind of challenges do you think he will face?" Zhu Keli couldn't help but ask, his voice tinged with worry.

Xiao Bai's voice carried a hint of mystery: "The Trial of Courage is naturally a test of his heart. He will face the thing he fears most deep within his heart." Xiao Bai's words made Jukele's heart even heavier. He knew that everyone had hidden fears they didn't want to face deep inside, but what were Adrian's fears?

Avril's expression changed slightly upon hearing this. She pursed her lips, a hint of worry flashing in her eyes, but she quickly regained her composure. Although she said she didn't care, deep down she was still concerned about Adrian's safety.

Time ticked by, but the red portal remained tightly shut. The hall was utterly silent, save for the shimmering light emanating from the magic circle, as if time itself had stood still. Jukele and Avril grew increasingly tense; an invisible pressure hung in the air, as if something terrible was about to happen.

Suddenly, the red portal burst open with a deafening roar. The red light illuminated the hall once more, and Adrian staggered out, his face pale, his forehead beaded with sweat, and a lingering fear in his eyes. But when he saw Juckley and Avril, the fear in his eyes was quickly replaced by resolve; he straightened his back, as if he had undergone a phoenix-like rebirth.

“I passed,” Adrian took a deep breath, his voice trembling slightly, “I saw the things I feared most deep within me.” His voice, though trembling, was full of power, as if he had conquered the demons within him.

"What was it? What did you see?" Juklee couldn't help but ask, his eyes filled with curiosity and concern.

Adrian was silent for a moment, then slowly said, "I see myself losing the dragon, losing my power, and losing the people I love." His voice was low and sorrowful. "I'm afraid of losing everything." He clenched his fists tightly, as if trying to control his emotions.

Juckley stepped forward and gently patted Adrian on the shoulder: "Son, this little fear is nothing. You are a true warrior."

Adrian glanced at Juckley, then walked to the side to rest. Avril watched Adrian's retreating figure, a complex emotion flashing in her eyes, but she quickly regained her composure. She seemed slightly surprised by Adrian's honesty, and also felt a touch of admiration for his courage in overcoming his fear.

“My turn!” Jukele took a deep breath, a determined expression on his face. He eagerly walked towards the blue portal of light, the trial representing the “Eye of Wisdom.” The blue light was like a deep ocean, full of mystery and the unknown, as if foreshadowing the complexity and challenges of the trial of wisdom.

The blue portal closed behind Jukele. Avril stared at the shut portal, her heart filled with worry. She couldn't help but ask, "Little White, do you think Jukele can pass the trial?"

Xiao Bai's voice carried a hint of teasing: "This silly pig may not be very clever usually, but he's quite smart when it counts. I believe he'll definitely pass the trial." Xiao Bai's words eased Avril's mind a little, but she still couldn't completely let go of her worries.
