Zhu Feifei flung open the door and rushed into the corridor. The piercing alarm and the continuous explosions made his heart pound. He took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down, and scanned his surroundings with sharp eyes.

Chaos reigned in the corridors of the Moonshadow. Laser beams and energy blasts crisscrossed the air, leaving blinding streaks in their wake. Thick smoke filled the air, mingled with the acrid smell of blood. Soldiers of the Interstellar Federation were locked in fierce combat with the invading pirates, the two sides exchanging blows, with soldiers falling one after another.

Zhu Feifei nimbly dodged a laser beam that grazed past her, inwardly alarmed: "Damn it! How can these pirates have such fierce firepower?"

He saw several Federation soldiers struck by pirate weapons, collapsing in pools of blood in agony. The piercing screams made him clench his fists. Zhu Feifei gritted his teeth, not having time to think, and quickened his pace, sprinting towards the weapons control room.
