Black Myth: The Legend of Tianpeng Seeking Demons
Chapter 248 Nano Repair Fluid
After sleeping for an unknown amount of time, Zhu Feifei slowly woke up. He felt that the pain in his body had lessened considerably, and his spirits had also recovered a lot.
He opened his eyes and found himself lying in a simple room. The walls of the room were made of some kind of metal and covered with all sorts of strange patterns.
"Where is this?" Zhu Feifei looked around in confusion. He found that apart from the bed he was lying on, there was only a table and a chair in the room, and nothing else.
"You're awake?" a voice suddenly rang out.
Zhu Feifei turned her head and saw Chang Juan sitting at the table, holding a tablet computer and looking at something.
"Chang Juan, where is this?" Zhu Feifei asked.
“This is the emergency shelter of the ‘Moon Goddess’,” Chang Juan said. “When the explosion occurred, the ‘Moon Goddess’ activated the emergency teleportation device and teleported us here.”
"Moon Goddess? Isn't she an AI assistant? How can she save people?" Zhu Feifei still couldn't quite believe it.
“She…she’s not just an AI assistant…” Chang Juan hesitated, seemingly unsure how to explain, “She…she also possesses other powers…”
"Other forces? Could it be... the legendary 'artificial stupidity'?" Zhu Feifei couldn't help but complain, trying to lighten the mood.
Chang Juan didn't smile. She looked at Zhu Feifei and said seriously, "Zhu Feifei, I know you have many questions, but now is not the time to explain. We must leave here as soon as possible and find a way to completely defeat the Moon Demon."
"Leave here?" Zhu Feifei was taken aback. "How can we leave? This is the moon!"
“I know a secret passage that leads to other areas of the base,” Chang Juan said. “However, this passage is very dangerous, and we must be extremely careful.”
"Danger?" Zhu Feifei curled her lip. "How dangerous could it be compared to the Moon Demon? Let's go, let's set off now!"
“Wait a minute,” Chang Juan said. “We need to make some preparations before we leave.”
"Prepare? What preparations?" Zhu Feifei asked.
“First, we need to repair your spacesuit,” Chang Juan said. “Your spacesuit was damaged in the previous battle, and you simply cannot survive on the lunar surface without repair.”
"A spacesuit?" Zhu Feifei suddenly remembered that he was still wearing a spacesuit. He looked down and found that his spacesuit was indeed badly damaged, with cracks in many places.
"What are we going to do?" Zhu Feifei said anxiously. "Without a spacesuit, how am I supposed to walk on the moon?"
“Don’t worry, I have a way,” Chang Juan said, then took out a small box from her pocket. Inside was some silvery-white liquid.
"What is this?" Zhu Feifei asked curiously.
"This is a nano-repair solution that can quickly repair damage to your spacesuit," Chang Juan said. "Take off your spacesuit, and I'll help you repair it."
"Okay!" Zhu Feifei quickly agreed and then began to take off her spacesuit.
However, Chang Juan was stunned when he took off his spacesuit.
"What...what is this?" she asked in surprise, pointing at Zhu Feifei's body.
Zhu Feifei's body was covered with all sorts of wounds, some from being scratched by lunar monsters, some from being hit by laser guns, and some from being injured by the shockwave of an explosion. It looked shocking.
"These... these were all left over from the battle just now," Zhu Feifei said somewhat embarrassedly.
"You...you were so badly injured, why didn't you say so?" Chang Juan's voice trembled slightly, her eyes filled with heartache and self-blame.
"Hey, it's just a few scratches, nothing serious!" Zhu Feifei grinned and said, "I'm Pigsy, these little injuries are nothing!"
"You still say you're fine!" Chang Juan gave Zhu Feifei a reproachful look, then began to repair his spacesuit with nano-repair fluid.
During the repair of the spacesuit, Chang Juan's fingers would occasionally touch Zhu Feifei's body, giving Zhu Feifei a strange sensation.
"Chang Juan, you...you be gentle..." Zhu Feifei couldn't help but say.
"What's wrong? Did I hurt you?" Chang Juan asked quickly.
"No...no..." Zhu Feifei quickly shook his head. He didn't want Chang Juan to know that he felt strange because of her touch.
"That's good," Chang Juan said, then continued repairing his spacesuit.
After a while, the spacesuit was finally repaired.
“Okay, try it on,” Chang Juan said.
Zhu Feifei quickly put on her spacesuit, which felt brand new and showed no signs of damage.
"This nano-repair fluid is truly amazing!" Zhu Feifei couldn't help but exclaim.
"This is just the basic equipment for the base," Chang Juan said. "Alright, we can set off now."
"Okay." Zhu Feifei nodded, then followed Chang Juan out of the room.
The two walked along the narrow passage for a few minutes until they came to a metal door.
“This is the entrance to the secret passage,” Chang Juan said. “However, this door requires a password to open.”
"Password? Do you know the password?" Zhu Feifei asked.
“I know,” Chang Juan said, then walked to the door and entered a string of numbers on the keypad.
"Click..."
With a soft click, the metal door slowly opened.
The two entered the room and found themselves in a pitch-black passageway, its bottom unseen.
"Where does this passage lead?" Zhu Feifei asked.
“It leads to the core area of the base,” Chang Juan said. “We need what we need there.”
"What do we need? What is it?" Zhu Feifei asked curiously.
"It's a secret for now," Chang Juan said. "You'll find out when you get there."
“Okay…” Zhu Feifei shrugged and didn’t ask any further questions.
The two walked along the dark passage for a long time before finally reaching its end.
"We're here," Chang Juan said, then pushed open a door.
Outside the door was a huge circular space, brightly lit, filled with all sorts of instruments and equipment, as well as some huge metal containers filled with some unknown liquid.
"This... is the core area of the base?" Zhu Feifei asked in surprise, looking at the scene before her.
“That’s right.” Chang Juan nodded. “This is the core area of the base, and also the most important place in the base.”
"Where is what we're looking for?" Zhu Feifei asked.
"Follow me." Chang Juan said, leading Zhu Feifei deeper into the space.
The two passed through various instruments and equipment and arrived in front of a huge metal container.
“This is it,” Chang Juan said. “What we’re looking for is inside this container.”
"What's inside this container?" Zhu Feifei asked, looking at the huge metal container in front of her.
“Yes…” Chang Juan hesitated for a moment before saying, “It is… a part of the Moon Demon.”
"What?!" Zhu Feifei was stunned. "This...contains the Moon Demon?!"
“That’s right.” Chang Juan nodded. “Inside here is one of the Moon Demon’s hearts.”
"A heart?!" Zhu Feifei felt her worldview being turned upside down. "The Moon Demon... has a heart?"
“Of course there are,” Chang Juan said. “Although the Moon Demon is a special life form, it is still a creature with flesh and blood.”
"Then...what do we need this heart for?" Zhu Feifei asked.
“We need to use this heart to make… a special potion,” Chang Juan said. “This potion can completely eliminate the Moon Demon.”
"Completely eliminate the Moon Demon?" Zhu Feifei's eyes lit up. "Great! Let's get started right away!"
"No rush. We need to do some preparatory work before making the potion," Chang Juan said.
"What preparations?"
"we need to……"
Before Chang Juan could finish speaking, the entire space suddenly began to shake violently, and a piercing alarm sounded throughout the base.
"What's going on?!" Zhu Feifei exclaimed in surprise.
"Oh no! The Moon Demon... the Moon Demon..." Chang Juan's face changed drastically. She looked at the metal container in front of her, her eyes filled with fear.
The metal container was trembling violently, as if something was about to burst out of it.
"It's coming out! We have to get out of here as soon as possible!" Chang Juan shouted.
"Leave? Where to leave?" Zhu Feifei asked.
"Come with me!" Chang Juan said, taking Zhu Feifei's hand and running towards a corner of the space.
The two went to a corner, and Chang Juan groped around on a wall for a while before suddenly pushing it.
"Rumble..."
Suddenly, a hidden door appeared in the wall, revealing a dark passage.
"Quick! Let's go this way!" Chang Juan said, then pulled Zhu Feifei into the passage.
After the two entered the passage, the hidden door slowly closed.
"Where...where is this?" Zhu Feifei asked, looking at the dark passage in front of her.
“This is the base’s escape route,” Chang Juan said. “This route leads to the lunar surface.”
"Great!" Zhu Feifei breathed a sigh of relief. "We can finally leave this awful place!"
"Don't get too excited yet. This passage is full of dangers, and we must be careful," Chang Juan said.
"Danger? What danger?" Zhu Feifei asked.
“I don’t know either…” Chang Juan shook her head. “I haven’t used this passage for a long time, and I don’t know what changes might have occurred inside.”
“Okay…” Zhu Feifei shrugged and didn’t say anything more.
The two walked along the dark passage for a long time. Suddenly, Zhu Feifei felt a tremor under her feet, and then the entire passage began to shake violently.
"What's going on?!" Zhu Feifei exclaimed in surprise.
"Oh no! It's the Moon Demon! It's catching up!" Chang Juan's expression changed drastically as she exclaimed.
"Moon Demon? How did it find its way here?" Zhu Feifei asked.
“I don’t know…” Chang Juan shook her head. “We must leave here as soon as possible!”
"Okay!" Zhu Feifei agreed, then pulled Chang Juan along and quickened her pace.
The two ran wildly through the dark passage, not knowing how long they ran, until finally they saw a glimmer of light ahead.
"Quick! The exit is just ahead!" Zhu Feifei said excitedly.
The two ran toward the light, and finally, they broke through the tunnel and arrived on the lunar surface.
However, when they saw what was in front of them, they were immediately stunned.
The surface of the moon had turned into a sea of fire, with burning meteorites and debris everywhere, and the sky was stained blood red.
"What...what's going on?!" Zhu Feifei exclaimed in surprise.
“The Moon Demon…it has completely broken free of its seal…” Chang Juan’s voice was filled with despair, “Humanity…is finished…”
