Zhu Feifei's eyes widened, and she almost dropped her chopsticks. How could this woman be so persistent, always seeming to appear wherever she goes?

His mind raced, trying to come up with a plausible reason for his presence here—especially since he hadn't finished his ramen.

However, Chihiro Yukishiro clearly had no interest in exchanging pleasantries with him.

She gave him a cold glance, then sat down in the empty seat opposite him, as if she didn't know this "strange tourist" at all.

"You don't mind sitting here, do you?" Her tone was calm, but her sharp eyes were like two knives, as if she had seen right through Zhu Feifei.

"Explain yourself." Chihiro Yukishiro put down her chopsticks, her expression remaining calm.

"There's been a murder at the Sakura Hotel in the south of the city!" the short, stout man said breathlessly. "The room door was locked from the inside, and the victim's body was in a strange position; it looks very eerie!"

Zhu Feifei's ears perked up immediately. He keenly caught the key words: "strange posture" and "eerie." Wasn't this a classic opening scene from a fantasy novel?

"Come on, I want to go take a look too!" He slammed his hand on the table and stood up.

Chihiro Yukishiro frowned: "What are you going to do? Don't make things worse."

"Don't underestimate me!" Zhu Feifei patted her chest and said confidently, "I'm a seasoned expert who's seen the world; I might even be of help!"

The two arrived at room 403, but the door had already been pried open by the police.

A strange fragrance filled the room. An intricate symbol was drawn on the floor with an unknown red liquid, and the deceased's body lay in the center of the symbol, his limbs in a bizarrely twisted position.

"Good heavens, this scene is terrifying!" Zhu Feifei couldn't help but take a step back.

Chihiro Yukishiro approached without hesitation, carefully examining the symbols on the ground and the wounds on the corpse.

“This is… a ritualistic killing,” she murmured, “completely different from ordinary cases.”

"A ritual?" Zhu Feifei immediately perked up. "Could it be related to 'Moon Shadow'?"

"Moonlight shadow?" Chihiro Yukishiro keenly grasped the word. "What do you know?"

"Uh... well..." Zhu Feifei was momentarily speechless, then quickly changed the subject: "Anyway, I think this matter is definitely not simple!"

At this critical moment, the previously open room window suddenly slammed shut without warning, accompanied by a deafening "bang." The temperature inside the room seemed to be instantly sucked away, and everyone felt a bone-chilling cold as if they had fallen into an ice cellar.

"Oh no!" Xiaobai screamed in terror, her face ashen. "Something terrible is about to appear!" However, Zhu Feifei was clearly still in a daze, not fully recovered.

In an instant, the mirror in the corner seemed to be summoned by some mysterious force, and suddenly burst out with a dazzling light that was impossible to look at directly.

Immediately afterwards, a strange woman dressed in a black robe and wearing a fox-shaped mask slowly emerged from the mirror like a ghost.

Her figure was graceful and slender, and every move she made exuded an indescribable allure.
