Chapter Forty-Four: The Heavenly Wolf Warrior

For a moment, the two men didn't know how to start a conversation. They just stared blankly at the old man. Neither of them could have imagined that such a powerful formation was only meant to imprison a disabled old man.

The old man stood solemnly before Han Qi. He stood on the ground using the hem of his tattered clothes; the once soft fabric, now infused with his profound energy, made it almost impossible to tell that the old man had no legs if one wasn't paying attention.

The space where Han Qi and Qin Wuyang were located was instantly locked, rendering them unable to move. Both of them were at the late stage of the Saint Infant Realm, but they had no time to react in front of the old man and could only be slaughtered at his mercy.

The two closed their eyes in pain. The old man reached out and gently stroked their foreheads. Han Qi felt a tremor in his life palace, which then returned to normal. The spatial lock also disappeared. Han Qi opened his eyes in surprise and found that the old man had returned to the stone and was looking at Han Qi with a look of relief.
