Henry said he understood, and then took out a necklace and a bottle of good wine, which he asked Mary Beth to give to Tilly and Karen.

After greeting Hosea and telling him not to rush off hunting and to wait until he returned in a few days, he took the now-refreshed Lenny and the deep-thinking Arthur back to Valentine Allen's Tavern.

"I'll cover all the drinks for you tonight. Drink as much as you want, and you can even do whatever you want, but don't cause trouble in my bar."
