Rhodes, the Palace of Pleasure.

When David removed his police badge, donned the Allen family crest, and led Mike and a squad of elite gunmen into Rhodes, the town was already a scene of utter devastation. Closed doors and windows juxtaposed with damaged houses, and lingering bloodstains resembled tear stains. A suffocating desolation and chill filled the air, as if the entire town had lost its vitality.

Clearly, a fierce and terrifying battle had just taken place here, so devastating that it seemed to tear the town apart.

After questioning the intelligence personnel at the tavern, it was learned that the Gray family had just dispatched dozens of gunmen to attack five members of the Van Gang, capturing Sean and an unidentified member. They are now being held in the police station awaiting trial and hanging.

Meanwhile, the Braithwaite family and Mafia from Saint Denis launched a joint attack on the Van Bang camp, but according to scouts, the Braithwaite operation failed, with heavy losses suffered by the attackers.

"Where is He Xi'a, the second-in-command of the Fan gang? Is he injured?"

David didn't feel much for the other members of the gang; all he wanted to know was how Hosea, who had once been so kind to him and his brother, was doing.

"According to our intelligence, he hasn't come out since he entered Braithwaite Manor alone this morning, and he should still be inside. However, the Braithwaite Manor is now under martial law, and our spies can't get any new information out of it."

Hearing that Hosea was alright for the time being, David breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, things hadn't gotten to the worst possible state, and there was still a chance to salvage the situation. It was no wonder they had gathered manpower overnight and rushed over.

"David, are we going to rescue that unlucky kid Sean?" Mike was a little worried about his drinking buddy.

"No rush. He's in the police station, so he's safe for now. Let's try to get Hosea out first."

David knew that Mike and Sean had a good relationship; they used to often go to bars together to drink, brag, and hook up with girls, and they were kindred spirits.

"Let's go back to Fanbang's camp first, see Daqi, and see if they have any action plans, so as to avoid conflict."

The two brothers had mixed feelings about returning to camp. It had only been a little over three months since they last met, but it felt like their time in the gang had been a long time ago. The transition from daily fighting to a peaceful and stable life felt like a dream.

After arranging for the other personnel to be stationed around the Bray family and closely monitor their movements, the Caland brothers rode to Clemens Point.

“Oh my god, David, Mike, what brings you back?”

When Karen, who was on duty, saw the Caland brothers, she was a little happy, but also a little confused.

This is the gang's most difficult time. Their leader, Arthur, has vanished without a trace, Sean and Hosea are in grave danger, and even the gang's headquarters has been under heavy attack. The return of the Calander brothers, two formidable figures, is like a shot in the arm for the gang.

Meanwhile, Karen learned through Mary Beth's letters that the Calander brothers were now working for Henry, who had long since cleared their names as wanted criminals, and were living comfortably. She couldn't understand why they would return to this hopeless "bandit" hideout. She was filled with pessimism about the gang's future.

"Oh, beautiful Miss Jones, you still look so voluptuous and irresistible!"

Compared to David's gentle, spring-like expression, which concealed a coldness that kept people at arm's length, the unrestrained Mike was clearly more popular in the gang and had a good relationship with other gang members, especially those few alcoholics.

"Get out of here, you annoying brat. All you do is talk, you never take any real action."

Karen rolled her eyes at Mike; she'd heard that kind of talk far too often. These stinky men were all animals who thought with their lower bodies.

“We know Hosea is in trouble, so we came to see if there’s anything we can do to help.”

David interrupted their continued frivolous chatter; now was not the time for conversation.

"It's Dutch's damn plan again. I can't take it anymore. If this continues, this camp will be doomed sooner or later."

Karen muttered a complaint about the people in the camp before leading her two brothers into the camp.

The others were happy to see the Caland brothers return at this time; with them around during this turbulent time, the camp would be much safer.

"I heard that you no longer have any bounties and are living a comfortable life in Blackwater Town. Is that true?"

Have you seen Jenny? How is she doing?

Faced with everyone's barrage of questions, David quickly waved his hand to stop them, indicating that he had something to say.

"Hey, isn't this our Sheriff? What brings you to our wanted criminal hideout? You're not planning to arrest us to curry favor with those dirty capitalists, are you?"

Before David could even speak, a sarcastic voice came from the luxurious tent. It was Micah, who had temporarily taken Arthur's place and was discussing the next battle plan with Dutch.

"Hey, Micah. How could you say something so detrimental to unity?"

"Maybe they just want to return home in glory and show off to us poor people how well they're doing now."

Without comparison, there is no harm. The Calander brothers left the gang and followed Henry for only two or three months, and they were already doing very well and living a very comfortable life.

Meanwhile, Dutch's men continued to live in poverty, enduring hardships and sleeping outdoors, while being constantly harassed by Pinkerton and Cornish private forces, their lives always in danger. Now, they had incurred the wrath of local powerful families and authorities, resulting in further losses.

This makes Dutch seem so incompetent as a leader and how ridiculous his 'god damn' plans are.

Especially when he saw the family crests on David and Mike's chests, it ignited a nameless rage within him. Even Dutch himself couldn't pinpoint when he had started to resent the capitalist from Blackwater. The man had never offended him and had even helped the gang during its most difficult time, yet he still harbored hostility towards him. His intuition told him that this man had ill intentions.

The recent changes in his right-hand men (Old He and Arthur) and their estrangement from him all seem to have started after they came into contact with this guy. Anyway, after he learned that Henry was a big capitalist and that the money he buried in Blackwater had mysteriously disappeared, he inexplicably developed hostility towards Henry.
