Chapter 79 (Zhimiao) Little Rabbit, Be Good 1

Kavi went to explore an underground structure in the desert at someone's request. He returned safely, but he brought back some things that shouldn't have been there.

What happened to your head?

Elheisen stood in the doorway, looking at Kavi with an unfriendly tone, his gaze almost fixed on the hat on Kavi's head. The hat completely covered Kavi's head, and logically speaking, it would never suit Kavi's aesthetic sense, much less be suitable for wearing.

Elhesen was standing in front of the door to open it for Kavi. As for why he should open the door, you'd have to ask the great architect who never carries a key.

Kavi was embarrassed. After noticing Elhesen's gaze, he immediately raised his hand to cover his head, afraid that Elhesen would come over and take off his hat.

"Let me in first, I'll talk to you later."

Kavi gave Elhesen a mumbled reply, trying to squeeze into the house as quickly as possible. Elhesen didn't stop him, and even made room for Kavi when he got close enough. After Kavi went inside, Elhesen immediately closed the door.

The living room was as tidy as ever.

Al-Hysen walked over and sat on the sofa. He was about to ask Kavi what was wrong with his head when he saw Kavi take off the silly-looking hat, revealing the condition of his head.

When Elheisen saw Kavi take off his hat, his face suddenly flushed, and a series of thoughts flashed through his mind. Kavi's tone was somewhat discouraged, and he looked dejected. After sighing, Kavi looked at Elheisen.

"My ears have been affected by that strange ruin; they've probably been like this for a while now. But Tinari said... why are you blushing?"

Kavi had intended to explain to Elhesen in detail why he had become the way he was. But before he could finish speaking, he noticed Elhesen looking at him with a slightly flushed face.

Looking at Elhesen's flushed face, Kavi suddenly realized something. He brought his golden head closer, revealing his long, fluffy, droopy ears to Elhesen's view. Indeed, Kavi had a pair of golden, droopy ears, just like a lop-eared rabbit.

"You like it? Why is your face turning red? Oh, Elheisen, you've really turned out to be this kind of person!"

It was rare for Kavi to see Elhesen blush; in their usual interactions, Kavi was always the one blushing and even jumping up and down in exasperation. Despite being the senior, he could never gain the upper hand against Elhesen. Even in their relationship, he couldn't get the better of him. Now that he finally had a chance to mock this guy, Kavi wasn't about to let it slip by.

"Hmph, you've finally shown me your weakness, and you're blushing like that."

Kavi became smug, his earlier dejection completely gone. Looking at Kavi's head as it approached, and listening to Kavi's mocking words, Elhesen suddenly reached out and grabbed Kavi's long, furry ears.

Now the person blushing has changed.

"You...what are you doing!"

Kavi was shocked! The feeling of having his long ears held in Elhesen's hands was very different for Kavi; it was as if he was being completely grabbed.

When Elhesen saw Kavi's reaction, his eyes darkened slightly. Ignoring Kavi's earlier mockery, he continued to gently rub the long ears with his fingers.

"What did Tinari say? You examined him, didn't you?"

Kavi sensed something was wrong and was about to struggle when he heard Elhesen's question. After thinking for a moment, he replied, "There were a few other people who went to the ruins this time. We all have some animal characteristics growing on our bodies. Seno is now guarding the outside of that secret place with the other disciplinary officers, preventing anyone else from entering."

“Tinari examined our condition and said that we were very likely affected by the power inside the ruins, which caused the changes in our bodies. He told me to go home and stay for a few days to see if I could return to normal once the power dissipated.”

"What if that power cannot be dissipated?"

Elheisen had Kavi sit next to him, his fingers still pinching Kavi's long ears, occasionally rubbing them. Kavi was still uncomfortable, trying to pull away but unable to.

“If it can’t be restored, Seno said he’ll go to the ruins in a few days to look for a solution. I don’t want that to happen; there’s something really wrong with those ruins. I’m thinking I should go myself… Sigh!”

As Elheisen heard Kavi's words, he increased the pressure on his hand, causing Kavi to gasp in surprise.

"I understand, I'll figure something out. You're not allowed to sneak in by yourself, or your allowance will be halved."

Elhesen's words were a scare to Kavi. "Half! No, absolutely not, you can't do this to me." Kavi was furious and almost pounced on Elhesen.

"So, I'm telling you to be obedient and stay home during this time, and don't go out."

Elheisen reasoned with Kavi, and his gentle tone made Kavi more obedient. To Kavi, Elheisen was different, so when Elheisen spoke softly and gently, Kavi was always willing to listen.

"Fine then, it's not that I'm afraid you'll cut my allowance!"

Kavi relented, but even though he was willing to obey, he still showed signs of defiance. However, Elhesen understood him and knew that Kavi's response meant he was willing to listen to him.

With the matter considered resolved, Kavi relaxed a bit and lay on Elhesen's lap, chatting idly with him.

"Although this site is strange, it is still very beautiful, and there are many animal statues inside."

"kindness."

Elheisen looked at Kavi, who was lying on his lap, and responded to him in a somewhat good mood. Elheisen looked at Kavi's back, then his gaze moved downwards.

"You only grew ears? What about the rest of your body?"

Kavi paused, suddenly falling silent. Seeing Kavi's reaction, Elheisen understood somewhat; his gaze swept over various parts of Kavi's body, then a slight smile appeared on his lips.

"Looks like you've grown a tail too."

Kavi didn't want to talk; he just wanted to escape. His body was probably really affected, because Kavi jumped up like a rabbit. But Alheisen grabbed him and pulled him into his arms.

"Let me go, you wretched Elhesen."

Kavi struggled incessantly; clearly, he didn't want Elhesen to see his tail. The result was even more obvious: he was no match for Elhesen, who easily pinned him down and pulled off his clothes.
