Chapter 104 (Knowing the Subtle) Bird Language 4
The wanderer's eyes were fixed on Kavi.
His blue-purple eyes held a scrutinizing gaze, while Kavi's scarlet bird eyes were filled with confusion. He didn't know why this good-natured A-Mao player had suddenly grabbed him.
The wanderer watched for a while, then relaxed. He placed Kavi on his lap, glanced at the Lanaroos, and muttered to himself, "I'm really going crazy with this paper. It's just a silly bird."
Kavi was puzzled, but Elhesen seemed to understand, and the Lanaros began to discuss excitedly.
Just as the wanderer was about to lie down, he clearly heard the Lanaros talking to each other.
"Lan Chantu knew that this was a Nara."
"But Nara should have long arms, how could she be such a small bird?"
“Landuru didn’t know either, but Landuru sensed that he was Nala, the strange Nala.”
……
Several Lanaroos began to converse as if no one else was around, startling the wanderer and the two birds. The wanderer immediately grabbed the two birds with both hands, his tone somewhat dangerous.
"What are you, and what are you doing here?"
Kavi and Elhesen were caught off guard by the sudden revelation of their identities, but the Lannaros gathered around after hearing the wanderer's words.
“Nara Ama, don’t worry. You are friends, and the golden bird Nara is thanking you.”
Several Lanaroos surrounded the man and two birds. The wanderer, however, was a little annoyed. "Where did that stupid name 'Ah Mao' come from? Wait, are you guys from the academy competition?"
The wanderer stared at the two birds, carefully searching his memory, then asked in confusion, "Kavi and Elheisen?"
The two birds nodded in unison, and Kavi even wanted to give the wanderer a thumbs up. No wonder he admired this kind and thoughtful person; he was truly extraordinary!
Unfortunately, the Wanderer was nothing like what Kavi had imagined. To Kavi's astonishment, the Wanderer coldly left Kavi and Elheisen aside, then got up and left.
The wanderer had no desire to cause trouble for himself. Whether the two birds were human or not was none of his concern. Besides, the wanderer remembered how Elhesen had acted during the competition.
Tch, this guy's got so many schemes; he doesn't need my help at all. Besides, his cunning reminds me of a really annoying woman.
Elheisen watched the departing wanderers without any hurry. He simply said to the Lanaro, "You can understand me, right? Please tell him that we've run into trouble and need to see the Grass God."
Upon hearing this, the Lannaros immediately grabbed the wanderer and began to chatter amongst themselves, telling him what was happening.
"Nara needs help."
"Lord Mikusami."
……
The conversation was a bit scattered and disorganized, but the wanderer understood. These two creatures, who had inexplicably turned into birds, needed help and also needed to see Nasita.
The homeless man didn't want to get involved; it was too much trouble. But he also didn't want to listen to Nasita's nagging. If he went back like that, that guy would definitely notice how uncomfortable he felt.
The wanderer felt a little annoyed, but he turned around anyway. His eyes met Elhesen's, and they reached a consensus.
Then, the wanderer casually grabbed Kavi and placed him on his shoulder. Only after doing so did he stiffen slightly. The wanderer habitually mistook him for an ordinary sparrow, forgetting that he was a human.
Kavi didn't seem to mind much. He'd been waiting all morning and flying for a long time, and he was a bit tired. He was quite pleased with how the wanderer treated him and even rubbed his head against the wanderer's fingers.
The wanderer relaxed and turned to signal Elhesen to follow. Then, the wanderer led them to Nasita's location. On the way, the wanderer couldn't help but think, "That guy Kavi is really naive. No wonder Elhesen is watching him so closely."
Jingshan Palace.
"So, you became like this because you drank the potion that the traveler gave to Kavi," Nasita concluded after hearing the story.
Upon meeting his most revered grass god, Kavi immediately recounted to Nasita the entire process of his "crime," including where he obtained the potion. The detailed account left Elhesen utterly exasperated.
Nasita chuckled, also feeling quite curious, after all, this was a drug that could temporarily transform humans into other species. Although she didn't know if there would be any other effects, it was already very worthy of study.
The wanderer remained silent; he had intended to leave, but Nasita stopped him. After hearing Kavi's words, the wanderer almost laughed. This guy was truly stupid. He drugged someone else and ended up getting drugged himself too.
"Lord Grass God, do you have a way to restore us? Or perhaps contact the Traveler?"
Although Elhesen had transformed into a Skyhawk, he remained calm and composed. His current only concern was dealing with the bird's body, as that didn't suit his lifestyle.
Nasita was a little worried, "The traveler went to Fontaine and won't be able to get back for a while."
Nasita then continued, "I don't seem to be able to solve your problem. There's a strange power within you, but don't worry."
Nasita's expression softened as she gently comforted the somewhat dejected Kavi. "The power I see is carefully enveloping you; it shouldn't harm you. Moreover, this power seems to be dissipating, so you should return to your original forms soon."
After she finished speaking, Nasita's hair lit up. "I'll try to see if I can communicate with the traveler."
The palace fell silent. Kavi looked at Nasita with anticipation and reverence, while Elhesen felt somewhat relieved after hearing Nasita's words.
The wanderer leaned against the wall, seemingly bored, but his attention was entirely on Narcida. He would never admit that he was protecting this talkative deity.
The seabed of Fontainebleau is teeming with diverse species, offering a unique and captivating beauty.
The traveler arrived in Fontainebleau, encountered a strange water god, and learned about the peculiar inhabitants and their customs, before beginning to explore the ocean depths. As the traveler played with the strange jellyfish, she sensed a connection with Narcida.
"what?"
Seeing the traveler's surprise, Paimon moved away from the coral and closer to the jellyfish. "What's wrong? What's wrong? Is this jellyfish delicious?"
Ying was speechless at Paimon's question. "It's not a problem with the jellyfish. I don't know if they taste good or not."
"Should we try catching one?" Paimon looked at Ying with starry eyes.
Ying was led astray by Paimon, and she actually started thinking about how jellyfish eat. Then she suddenly shook her head, "No, it's Nasita looking for me. You keep an eye on the surroundings."
Paimon was surprised, then nodded. He looked around carefully, like a little guard.
