West Asia's tail was swimming happily, and Song Yi could sense West Asia's joyful mood.

At 1 a.m., Bell's assistant led his troops to ambush Lu Xiao's army's transfer route. After seeing the people at the opposite base begin to move, Bell's assistant happily reported to Bell.

"Mr. Bell, the other side has begun its relocation operation according to the time given by the intelligence."

At this moment, Bell was on his way to the ocean base. Upon hearing his assistant's report, a smile appeared on Bell's lips:

"Very good. Set up an ambush as planned to prevent their transfer, and send another team to bomb their military base."

After saying that, Bell added:

"I'm waiting for your good news."

The assistant replied that he had received the message, and Bell reassured himself that he was in charge of monitoring the situation. He then focused all his attention on searching for the merfolk.

On the seabed, Bell's submarine searched everywhere with its headlights on. The merman detector kept shining, and perhaps because it was getting closer to the merman, the detector even emitted a buzzing sound.

When the probe emitted a beeping sound, indicating that the distance between the merman and the probe was less than 300 meters, Bell felt both excited and restless.

"This is it, this is it. Call the other submarines over. West Asia is nearby."

After Bell gave the order, a dozen submarines arrived shortly afterward and began a thorough search from top to bottom.

Until a flash of blue light appeared before his eyes, and although it was very fast, Bell was certain that it was definitely a merman.

Merfolk scales emit a faint glow at night, and he once used fish scales from West Asia to make clothes; he was all too familiar with that glow.

Suddenly, a sound came from the submarine behind:

“Mr. Bell, the merman is here.”

Upon hearing this, Bell immediately turned the submarine around.

The submarines in front immediately gave chase after the merfolk, and soon all the submarines were heading in one direction, with Bell's submarine leading the charge.

The lights of a dozen submarines shone in one direction, and not far away, a fluorescent blue submarine was swimming rapidly. Bell was overjoyed; he recognized it—it was Xiya.

Bell gave orders to the other submarines from inside the cabin:

"Set up formation and launch the capture devices."

The submarines formed an umbrella shape, each equipped with a special capture device for merfolk. Once the machines had finished catching up, the capture devices fired one after another towards West Asia.

Sia initially dodged several, but there were too many traps. One of them hit Sia's tail, which restricted her speed. Gradually, Sia struggled to a dark corner and then stopped to face Bell's submarine.

Bell saw Sia stop, and he spoke into the walkie-talkie to Sia outside:

"Xia, my good friend, it's been so long, I've missed you so much."

"Do you know how heartbroken I was when I couldn't take you with me last time? Fortunately, God smiled upon me and let me meet you again, Xiya. Come home with me."

The submarine's windows were large, and Sia could clearly see Bell standing inside. Whenever she saw him, he was always dressed in a well-fitting suit. However, when she saw a strand of white hair on Bell's head, Sia smiled. It turned out that he had begun to age.

Bell was initially very happy, but Sissi's sudden smile made Bell feel that something was wrong.

Sia's smile is beautiful, to the point of being captivating, but during the fifty years he spent underwater, no matter what he did to please her, Sia never smiled.

Bell looked at Sia, wondering if it was during their time apart that Sia realized she also missed him.

Unfortunately, Bear Grylls' dream was about to shatter.

For fifty years, Xiya had not spoken to Bell, and when he finally spoke again, he cursed at him.

Sia wasn't afraid at all; Song Yi had taught her. So, Sia faced Bell and gave him the middle finger:

"You trash, go to hell."

Bell's face instantly darkened. Sia had gone astray. His Sia had only been out for a few days and had already gone astray. No, he had to bring Sia back and re-educate her.

Bell: "Sia, you're being naughty. Bad kids get punished."

Xiya raised her little face and said, "Pah!"

Bell controlled the submarine to extend two claws towards West Asia, but halfway through the claws, there was a sudden bang as if it had touched something, and even the submarine shook.

Bell tried to press the button, but the mechanical claw wouldn't budge. Bell frowned: "What's going on?"

At this moment, Sia had somehow broken free from the catcher on her tail, but instead of escaping, she swam to the submarine's glass window, as if in a provocation.

Seeing that Sia had broken free of the capture device, Bell immediately shouted into the walkie-talkie:

"What are you all doing? Why aren't you grabbing her?"

Suddenly, there was a tremor and a stuttering sound coming from the walkie-talkie:

"Mr. Bell, look!"

Bell was puzzled, but the moment he looked up, a cold sweat broke out on his back.

Outside the submarine, a pair of blood-red eyes glowed red. Those eyes were enormous and stared straight at them, while the background was completely black.

No one could see what it was, but that was precisely what made it terrifying. Bell's first reaction was to widen the angle of the submarine's lights, expanding the original two-meter diameter lights to ten meters.

The face around the eyes became visible, but it was still unclear what it was until the other submarine crews adjusted their lights, revealing something resembling octopus tentacles, which instantly sent chills down everyone's spines.

"My God, is that an octopus?"

"I have never seen such a big octopus before. One of its tentacles is thicker than our submarine."

"When did such a huge beast appear in the ocean?!"

Bell's brain went blank for two seconds. It was the first time he had ever seen such a giant octopus. His first reaction was to run. He didn't even have time to give orders to the other submarines. He wanted to run first, but the submarine was entangled by the giant octopus tentacles as soon as it turned around.

The other submarines scattered and fled, but Song Yi ignored them because they weren't important.

The submarine's weapons could no longer be fired. The mechanical claws were roughly ripped off by Song Yi. Perhaps the claws binding the submarine were too strong, because the system inside the submarine issued a warning signal of danger to the cabin. Bell instinctively felt that it was all over, that they couldn't get out, and that if the giant octopus outside used its claws even slightly, their submarine would be smashed to pieces.

Bell was sweating profusely as he frantically tried to think of a way to survive.

Outside, Song Yi peered through the submarine's glass:

"Xiah, what do you want to do with him?"

Xiya somehow obtained an enormous needle: "Prick him, draw blood."
