The next morning, sunlight streamed through the window onto the bed, but Zeng Min remained fast asleep.

Tu Mingcheng displayed amazing stamina last night, leaving Zeng Min exhausted.

Moreover, around two or three in the morning, he was full of energy and came twice more.

This became unbearable for Zeng Min, and she eventually fell into a deep sleep. When she heard the rooster crowing, she tried to open her eyes, but her exhaustion and drowsiness prevented her from getting up.

She could only stay in bed and nudged Tu Mingcheng with her foot to signal him to get up and cook. Although it was her second marriage, as a newlywed daughter-in-law, she still had to get up and cook a meal for her parents-in-law.

The whole family was exhausted yesterday, so none of us are up yet.

Tu Mingcheng felt a pair of small feet kicking against his stomach, and there was a sign of something rising up.

He didn't value desires much; the two times he did were under the influence of unclear desires, where he only cared about venting and didn't feel any tingling satisfaction.

That's why he was a little unable to extricate himself last night. He sat up and looked at the little woman next to him who hadn't opened her eyes but was twisting and turning her body.

A sense of satisfaction welled up inside me. I pinched her soft little cheek, pressed my body against hers, and whispered in her ear:

"Lie down a little longer, I'll go heat up the water and fetch some for you to wash your face. They don't get up this early in winter."

Zeng Min's voice was a little hoarse from not being fully awake yet. "Hmm..." Zeng Min murmured softly, turned over, and continued to sleep.

Tu Mingcheng couldn't help but smile at her adorable appearance, then quietly got out of bed and dressed.

He first went to the kitchen to boil water, then carried a basin of hot water back to the room. He carefully soaked a towel, wrung it out, and gently wiped Zeng Min's face.

Zeng Min felt the warmth on her face and slowly opened her eyes. She saw Tu Mingcheng looking at her with tenderness, and a sweet feeling rose in her heart.

"Are you feeling better?" Tu Mingcheng asked with concern.

"Much better..." Zeng Min's voice was still a little hoarse, "I'm still a little tired..."

"Then let's rest a little longer." Tu Mingcheng helped Zeng Min lie down again. "Once you've rested enough, I'll have dinner ready."

Zeng Min nodded, closed her eyes, and continued sleeping. Tu Mingcheng sat quietly by the bed, watching Zeng Min's peaceful sleeping face, his heart filled with happiness.

When Zeng Min got up, Tu Mingcheng had already heated up the leftovers from yesterday's meal.

Only Sister-in-law Tu was awake at home; the children and elderly were still sound asleep.

In fact, the elderly sleep relatively little. Wang Guiying and her husband had already woken up, but because of the cold weather, they were unwilling to leave their warm bed.

When they saw their second son busy in the kitchen, they were even less inclined to get out of bed.

After all, if they get up too early and their second daughter-in-law hasn't gotten up yet, it might make both of them feel a little awkward and uncomfortable.

Everyone had been a daughter-in-law before, so they were all well aware of the situation. Therefore, they chose to remain in bed and enjoy a moment of peace.

Tu Mingcheng finished cooking, and his family members gradually got up. The food on the table in the main room was plentiful; leftovers from the banquet tasted good no matter how they were prepared.

The family sat down together and began to eat breakfast. Tu Mingcheng kept putting food on Zeng Min and An Lin's plates, urging them to eat more.

"Second brother, don't just think about your wife, we need to eat too," Brother Tu said jokingly.

"There's plenty on the table, I'm afraid you won't be able to finish it." Tu Mingcheng knew his older brother was joking, so he didn't take it to heart.

Sister-in-law Tu couldn't stand her brother Tu's joking manner, so she glanced at him and said, "Don't talk nonsense. Your sister-in-law is a new bride and can't understand your jokes."

He smiled and looked at Zeng Min, saying, "Sister-in-law, don't mind him. That's just how your brother-in-law is. He speaks without thinking and just blurts things out."

Zeng Min shook her head, indicating that she didn't mind.

Tu's mother couldn't bear to look at her second son's sullen appearance. She looked at Xiao Anlin, who was sitting next to her. He was well-behaved and very likable.

Although I have several grandchildren, none of them are close to me. I spent the whole night with this little guy last night, and I love him so much. He's so adorable.

Watching him hold the chopsticks so steadily with his little hands, not dropping a single grain of rice while eating, was incredibly cute. I casually picked up a piece of meat for him.

Tu's mother: "Eat slowly, no rush. If you want anything, ask Grandma to get it for you. Eat until you're full."

Anlin: "Thank you, Grandma. You're so kind."

Tu's mother's heart melted when she heard his sweet, childlike voice. None of her mischievous grandsons were as sweet-talking as him.

"Yes, ma'am." Seeing how well her son and mother-in-law got along, she felt much relieved. Looking at her mother-in-law, she thanked her, "Thank you for your help last night, Mother. I'm also grateful for your help in taking care of Anlin."

Tu's mother looked at her indifferently: "I'm not helping you. I only took care of Xiao Anlin because he's good-looking and clean. You two can take him and take care of him yourselves today."

Because of what happened before, Tu's mother still disliked her second daughter-in-law. However, it takes two to tango; her own son was disappointing.

I can't blame her, so even though I felt uncomfortable, I reluctantly agreed, thinking we'd all be family in the future.

Zeng Min didn't mind her mother-in-law's attitude. In this day and age, many mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationships are not good. As long as they don't attack each other or gossip behind each other's backs, they can get along peacefully. Anyway, they will separate the family sooner or later, and the elderly will live with the eldest son's family.

Seeing that Anlin didn't seem uncomfortable in the unfamiliar environment, it was clear that his parents-in-law hadn't given him a hard time last night just because he was a burden. They were still reasonable.

Zeng Min felt a warmth in her heart; she felt incredibly lucky to have met such a wonderful family.

After the meal, Zeng Min helped clear the dishes, and Tu Mingcheng also helped her.

"You take a rest, I'll do these chores," said Sister-in-law Tu.

“It’s alright, sister-in-law, I’m not tired,” Zeng Min replied.

Zeng Min and Zeng Min washed the dishes together, chatting and laughing, creating a very harmonious atmosphere.

After finishing up, Zeng Min saw that everyone had something to do and went about their own business.

Even An Lin went to play with Guo Min and Guo An from Brother Tu's family. Zeng Min had just entered the room and had nothing to do. She didn't see anything to do and couldn't find anything to do, so she went to lie down in Tu Mingcheng's room for a while.

Just as Zeng Min was dozing off, Tu Mingcheng came into the room. Seeing that Zeng Min was asleep, he went over and hugged her, then lay down and let her sleep in his arms, quietly watching her.

He was a city worker who was married and had a honeymoon, so he just wanted to be with Zeng Min all the time. He didn't want to do anything else; just looking at her was enough for him.

Zeng Minjian was startled awake by Tu Mingcheng's gaze. Upon seeing that it was Tu Mingcheng, she snuggled closer to him.

"Why don't you sleep a little longer?" Tu Mingcheng asked in a low voice.

“Your eyes are so bright and alert, I can feel it even when I’m asleep, that’s why I can’t sleep,” Zeng Min said, snuggling closer into his arms.
