"You only suffered minor injuries after taking my sword strike that brought forth wind and thunder? Something's not right with you, you old codger."

If one truly understood that the damage from his sword strike was far more than this, one would only need to look at the injuries sustained by the Mirage Tower. Even with a defense as strong as the Mirage Tower's, it was pierced through by a single sword strike. Even if it only affected the elderly Onmyoji, it's impossible that he would only suffer such minor injuries. After all, those younger Onmyoji who were also affected were either killed or maimed, let alone an old man over fifty years old.

Just as Sun Yao was about to use his double pupils to examine the old man, a figure appeared behind him. It was the figure of a handsome man, but two horns sprouted from the top of his head. As soon as this figure appeared behind the old Yin-Yang Master, he immediately coughed up blood and knelt on one knee.

"Mingde, if you don't offer me three hundred virgins when you get back today, I'll devour you." The figure wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, then looked sharply at the onmyoji who was over fifty years old. It seemed that this old man was the Mingde he was talking about, whose full name should be Tsuchimikado Mingde.

"Don't worry, if you can get back alive this time, I'll offer you not just 300 virgins, but 500. I didn't expect him to be so powerful at such a young age; that one sword strike could seriously injure both of us. But don't worry, you can use the blood energy of everyone present at will. Just focus on healing your injuries, and if you can get back, I will do my best to fulfill your request."

Tsuchimikado Akitoku made a promise to him, and the man grinned and said, "That's exactly what I've been waiting for. Come on then, it's been so many years since I've swallowed an Onmyoji."

The man raised his hands, and countless streams of blood energy rose from the bodies of the many dead and wounded Onmyoji around him, converging on him from all directions.

Then the man's appearance began to change, transforming from a handsome young man into a blue-faced, fanged monster. A huge string of Buddhist prayer beads hung on his shoulder, and a scarlet gourd of sake hung at his waist. Seeing his appearance, Sun Yao was reminded of a great demon from Japanese legend, Shuten-dōji.

Shuten-dōji, a demon king in ancient Japanese mythology, was the leader of the oni (demon) clan during the Heian period; also known as "Shuten-dōji" or "Shuten-dōji," his real name was Gōdōmaru. One of Japan's three great yokai, he was named for his love of sake. He occupied Mount Ōe in Tanba Province and was also known as the Oni of Mount Ōe. He once shook Kyoto and appeared in legends such as the Shuten-dōji extermination and the Hyakki Yagyō (Night Parade of One Hundred Demons). Legend says he fed exclusively on the flesh and blood of women and children, and was skilled at luring virgins to devour them.

According to novels such as "Otogizōshi", Shuten-dōji has two faces: a "handsome young man" and an "ugly demon". In human form, he can bewitch women, while in demon form, he is a red-faced demon who can breathe fire. He has a fierce and ferocious appearance, with messy hair, horns on his head, a large body, red skin, and wears a large checkered fabric and a red hakama skirt.

Now it seems he does have two appearances. One is very attractive to young women, while the other, with its blue face and fangs, is quite captivating.

All the blood energy gathered around Shuten-dōji, and his injuries began to heal at a visible speed. Only when only Tsuchitamamon Akitoku and the Onmyoji who had summoned Umibozu remained among the Onmyoji present did Shuten-dōji stop his devouring.

At this moment, Shuten-dōji's injuries had been fully healed, and his strength had even increased after he devoured the lives of these people.

"People from small, sparsely populated countries love to associate with demons and evil spirits. All demons that harm or kill people cannot escape the punishment of Heaven. I have entered the Celestial Master's Mansion and am now considered a junior Taoist priest. Today, I, this humble Taoist priest, will also speak out: I will act on behalf of Heaven and punish you, you wicked demon!"

"Hahaha, you people all talk a good game, but your deeds are utterly despicable. Back then, Minamoto no Yorimitsu poisoned my wine, but he still failed to kill me. After descending the mountain, he boasted all he could, even naming his broken sword 'Dojigiri Yasutsuna.' If it weren't for those Onmyoji from the Tsuchimikado clan using the magic array left by Abe no Seimei to restrain me, I would have made him climb the mountain vertically and descend horizontally. Of course, you are the same now. That sword strike just now certainly hurt, but how many more can you swing? If it weren't for Meitoku's old age and declining health, that sword might not have even hit me. Now the roles are reversed, I'd like to see if you can stop me!"

After Shuten-dōji finished speaking, he charged forward with his iron staff in hand. His charge created a reaction force on the river, causing it to burst open with a bang. He was propelled into the sky by this force and swung his iron staff at Sun Yao.

"You think you're so special? No matter how much the myths of Japan exaggerate your abilities, you're still a monster. You don't understand destiny and harm people and take lives, so today I'll subdue you! You want to ask me how many more times I can use this sword? Well, let me tell you, I'll keep cutting until I kill you! Sword rises with wind and thunder, azure dragons form an array, swiftly!"

Sun Yao manipulated the Thunder Pool Flying Sword once again, unleashing the "Sword Rises with Thunder and Wind" move. The Thunder Pool Flying Sword had already flown back into Sun Yao's hand. Countless sword shadows surged before his chest, rapidly forming a blue dragon in front of him. The blue dragon opened its blood-red maw, directly biting at the Shuten-dōji flying through the air.

Shuten-dōji watched as the azure dragon lunged at him, but unfortunately, he couldn't twist his body in mid-air and could only watch helplessly as the sword-qi azure dragon attacked. However, he wasn't completely without resistance; he used the blood energy he had just absorbed to create a protective shield to defend against the azure dragon's damage.

A soaring dragon swept across the sky, leaving only a blood-red figure slowly descending in mid-air. Despite being covered in wounds, he had undoubtedly survived Sun Yao's sword strike. However, surviving and what followed were two different things. He couldn't withstand the attack and was instead slashed by Sun Yao, leaving him covered in blood.

However, just as he was falling from mid-air, he glanced at the Sea Monk beside him. "Since you're also a piece of trash, then you'll become my power too."

Shuten-dōji reached out to Umibōzu, who suddenly let out a mournful cry. Endless black energy erupted from Umibōzu's body, and was immediately drawn into Shuten-dōji. After absorbing Umibōzu's black energy, Shuten-dōji's injuries healed at a visible speed, no slower than when he absorbed the blood energy of the Onmyoji, and perhaps even faster. In a short while, Shuten-dōji's injuries were completely healed, but Umibōzu collapsed onto the river, utterly exhausted, seemingly on the verge of death.
