In all the novels he had read about cultivation, the protagonists always absorbed the spiritual energy of heaven and earth to strengthen themselves. Although they might also use rare and precious herbs to enhance the cultivation effect, there was no doubt that they were absorbing external spiritual energy to become stronger, rather than depleting their own essence to generate internal energy.

Although he had only just begun cultivating, he could sense the Qi (vital energy) within all things. There must be primordial energy or spiritual energy in this world. As for why no one had created a cultivation method based on them, Sun Yao wasn't entirely sure. Perhaps the methods were already in place when they were passed down, and people only knew how to cultivate according to the rules without thinking of innovation.

"Since I have come into this world, I will come, I will see, and I will conquer. If no one else will create it, then I will create it."

Having set a goal, Sun Yao began to conceive of it. The existence of the One Thought Heaven and Earth Dimension allowed it to continuously deduce and reconstruct techniques simply by conceiving them. Even if a technique contained the slightest error, the One Thought Heaven and Earth Dimension would not allow it to take shape in Sun Yao's mind.

Sun Yao conceived of the Fire Virtue True Scripture countless times, using his divergent thinking to continuously deduce its advanced forms. He considered all possible paths to advancement, including Fire Spirit True Qi, Lingguang Scripture, Burning Fire Technique, and so on. However, each had its drawbacks, and he abandoned them one by one.

After a day and a night of deduction, he finally came up with a method called the Fire Element Method. As the name suggests, it is a method that uses fire. It not only integrates the various abilities of the Fire Virtue True Scripture, but also develops many other aspects of it.

What Sun Yao was most proud of was the development of fire escape techniques by the Fire Path Technique. Originally, the Fire Virtue Sect's fire escape techniques required setting up a flame similar to a teleportation point, but the Fire Path Technique's fire escape techniques did not.

The Fire Escape Technique in the Fire Path Method was developed from the Fire Escape Technique in the True Scripture of Fire Virtue. It can not only perform long-distance fire escape through the location of two anchor points, but also continuously perform fire escape around by sensing the surrounding fire energy.

In other words, as long as there is fire within a certain range, he can continuously move within the fire, which is what makes it a fire-style technique.

As for how to perceive the surrounding fire energy, one must mention another wondrous application of the Fire Element Technique: tempering the soul with the fire of the heart. Sun Yao's expectation for the Fire Element Technique was to control all fires, and the One Thought Heaven and Earth Transformation technique did not disappoint him. Although he didn't know if he could control all fires, he could ignite and control the fire of the heart, which involves concepts, and even the divine fire that tempers the soul. However, to reach this level, he needed to undergo a painstaking process. After all, he hadn't completely solved the problem Feng Huo had mentioned before. Using the soul as fuel, for it to burn, the soul needed to be strong enough, or the soul needed to be pure enough. And either way, it was a painstaking process, requiring constant tempering of the soul with the fire of the heart to gradually strengthen it.

However, his Fire Element Technique is much faster than the Inner Alchemy Technique of the Quanzhen Dragon Gate. Most importantly, with this technique, he can control his Heart Fire and Divine Fire; any attack on the soul is child's play for him. His Heart Fire and Divine Fire can also scorch the spirit body and attack others, much like the Samadhi True Fire of the Zhuge family. Once Sun Yao's soul becomes powerful enough, he too can condense Samadhi True Fire. The Samadhi True Fire in Sun Yao's concept differs from that of the Zhuge family; it is the true, mythical Samadhi True Fire that can burn anything, regardless of its physical form.

Perhaps you, the readers, are already thinking that the Fire Element Technique is so incredibly powerful that Sun Yao could deduce it in just one day and one night, which seems exaggerated. But in reality, the Fire Virtue Sect has passed down the Fire Virtue True Scripture for hundreds or even thousands of years, and he mastered it to perfection in the time it takes to drink a cup of tea. This Fire Element Technique, on the other hand, was deduced after countless failures over a day and a night. It's easy to see how many levels higher this Fire Element Technique is than the Fire Virtue True Scripture.

After obtaining the Fire Element Technique, Sun Yao immediately considered his next steps. Now that he had the Fire Element, weren't he still missing four of the Five Elements? Although the world of *Under One Person* had the Earth-Walking Immortal ability, frankly, it wasn't a true earth-escape technique. If he could truly obtain an earth-escape technique like Tu Xingsun, then he would truly be able to go anywhere in the world. After all, the world is mostly water and earth, and even underwater, it's still earth. If he also had a Water Escape Technique, then combining water and earth escape techniques would make him unmatched in the world when it came to escaping.

Sun Yao felt incredibly excited as he thought about it, but it was easier said than done. To achieve this, one either needed a corresponding cultivation technique as a foundation for deduction, or some innate spiritual objects. If he could obtain a cultivation technique containing these techniques, the deduction process would be much more efficient. With the Fire Virtue True Scripture as his foundation, he could easily deduce fire-based techniques; fire escape, fire transformation, and fire control were all within his grasp.

Speaking of which, he thought of a shortcut to obtaining water-based techniques. He had once seen a movie about the Three Rivers Water Demon. In it, there was a creature called the Water Spirit, and anyone who came into contact with it could breathe freely underwater. There was a divine object called the Water Spirit Gallbladder; if he could obtain it, perhaps water-based techniques would be as easy as taking candy from a baby. Unfortunately, he had come to the world of *Under One Person*, and he didn't know if such a thing existed there.

Sun Yao shook his head, banishing these thoughts from his mind. Cultivation was the most important thing now. He had already wasted a whole day and night deducing the Fire Element Technique, without cultivating at all. Moreover, after that day and night of deduction, his head was throbbing painfully. He needed to cultivate quickly to see if it could alleviate his headache and dizziness.

Sun Yao activated the Fire Element Technique he had deduced, and this time a miraculous thing happened. The primordial energy between heaven and earth entered his body through his middle dantian and gathered in his lower dantian. It did not consume the primordial energy in his body at all; on the contrary, it continuously absorbed the primordial energy between heaven and earth, nourishing his body.

After cultivating for only a short while, Sun Yao felt his headache and dizziness completely disappear. This was exactly the effect he wanted. Cultivation is naturally about seizing the power of heaven and earth to forge a perfect self; how could he possibly deplete himself to refine primordial energy?

He became extremely addicted to absorbing the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, and he kept practicing the technique without being able to stop.
