In the spring, the chickens and pigs raised by San Niu's family were about three or four months old. After about four months, the chickens and pigs had grown up and were ready to be sold. Now each chicken weighs four or five pounds and each pig weighs two hundred and sixty or seventy pounds. Her scientific breeding has been a success!

San Niu's farm attracts many visitors every day, all curious about how she raises chickens and pigs to such a large size in just four months!

San Niu came up with a solution and went to the village chief. "Grandpa, the chickens and pigs we raise can be sold after four months. It's a successful example of scientific farming.
