Collapse, but Stand users

At age 16, a strange disease appeared on Dusk Street, and none of those who contracted it survived.

"Father, you should get some rest." At breakfast time, Yoshikage Kira frowned as he looked at his father's dark circles.

“Yes, Uncle, how can you not get proper rest? Health is the foundation of everything.” Pado echoed Kira Yoshikage’s words from the side.

Kira Yoshikage looked at Patto and asked in confusion, "What are you doing here again?"

"Oh dear, it's all because the boss's cooking is so good. No breakfast outside can compare to what you make!"

Yoshikage Kira didn't say anything, but just lowered his head and ate his breakfast.

Seeing that Yoshikage Kira didn't speak, Pado scratched her head and tentatively said, "Then I'll help the boss wash the dishes from now on?"

Kira Yoshikage slightly raised his head, glancing at the girl's hands out of the corner of his eye. Under his influence, Pado no longer had to live a life of petty theft and hunger, so her hands were naturally more delicate than when he first saw them—slender and long, yet plump and fair, with nails that shimmered with a bluish light, soft and pearly. The thought of those hands, wrinkled from washing dishes, filled Kira Yoshikage with inexplicable irritation.

"No need, your help to my father is the greatest reward I can give you."

Watching the two children bickering in front of him, Kira Yoshihiro felt his spirits improve considerably.

"Alright, Paddy, hurry up and come to the clinic with me after you finish eating. We've had quite a few more patients lately."

After Padre and Kira Yoshihiro left, Kira Yoshikage, as usual, began to read.

"Have they grown longer again?" Kira Yoshikage frowned when he noticed his fingernails had grown longer as he picked up the book.

Sitting in front of his family's courtyard, Yoshikage Kira began to tidy his fingernails.

Having a Stand, Yoshikage Kira's vision becomes broader, most obviously manifested in his ability to see Honkai energy.

Looking at the increasingly dense Honkai energy, the irritability that had been there since I woke up in the morning surged up again.

"What's going on?" Yoshikage Kira rubbed his head, forcing himself to suppress his negative emotions.

"They've grown longer again," Yoshikage Kira sighed, looking at his freshly trimmed fingernails that seemed to be sprouting again.

"Boss, the food you made is so delicious."

"Alright, don't talk when you have something in your mouth," Kira Yoshikage reminded her, looking at Patto wolfing down her food, without saying anything more.

"Hey hey, I'm full, boss, wanna...?"

I'll wash the dishes myself.

"Alright then, I'll head back now. Thanks for dinner, boss. Goodbye, boss."

Watching the girl's departing figure, a sense of irritation stronger than at any other time of day welled up within him.

"Something's not right..." Yoshikage Kira covered his head and said to Yoshihiro Kira, "I'm going out for a bit."

"Eh? Kira, you..." Before he could finish speaking, there was a loud "Bang!" and Kira Yoshikage had already left.

Where is Patto? Why is she running so fast? She left less than a minute late, but Yoshikage Kira couldn't find Patto anywhere, and his frustration grew stronger.

“It’s alright. Pado’s house isn’t far from mine, and no one would be foolish enough to target the people at Kira Clinic. Most gangs have received favors from us.”

With that thought in mind, Yoshikage Kira ran towards the direction of Pado's house.

After turning a corner, they finally saw Paddo. Paddo heard footsteps, turned around, and looked at Yoshikage Kira in surprise.

"Hey, what's wrong, boss?"

Kira Yoshikage rushed over and pulled Pado into his arms, reaching out to the assassin who suddenly pounced from the dark alley.

Killer Queen! First bomb.

Seeing the assassin disappear before him, Yoshikage Kira breathed a sigh of relief, and the irritation in his heart dissipated completely.

He looked down at the girl in his arms; she had her head buried in his chest and remained motionless.

"Hey hey hey hey! Is the boss finally going to make a move on me?! Yes hey hey!" Paddy thought excitedly as she nestled in Yoshikage Kira's arms, inhaling his scent.

"It seems the matter of the Stand hasn't been exposed," Kira Yoshikage thought to himself, looking at the lovesick girl in his arms.

(The explosion of Yoshikage Kira's Stand was silent, so Paddy couldn't hear it.)

"It's alright, let's go home." With that, Yoshikage Kira pushed Pado away, turned and left, leaving Pado alone, bewildered in the wind.

When Yoshikage Kira returned home, he found his father sitting on the sofa.

"You don't need to wait for me."

"Ah, I wanted to tell you that I've finished washing the dishes." With that, the father got up and went back to his room.

Kira Yoshihiro didn't ask any more questions, but he was content when he saw that his son seemed more relaxed after returning home.

"Okay, I understand," Kira Yoshikage replied to his father before returning to his room.

"How can I be so calm?" This was the first time He Chengrui had ever killed someone, or rather, the first time he had ever been a human being.

He could feel his humanity gradually being diluted as he played the role of Yoshikage Kira.

“But I saved Paddo, didn’t I?”

Thinking of the shy look on the girl in his arms, He Chengrui stopped worrying about his fading humanity and fell into a deep sleep.

"Boss, hehehe." The girl hugged the pillow, buried her head in it, and made strange noises from time to time.
