"Is this really a world hundreds of years in the future?" After centuries, Spider Prince Nicholas finally returned to the surface, muttering to himself. Everything before him was completely different from what he had seen centuries before.

Inside the drifting cave, Lian Yang used all sorts of tricks and explanations, and after much effort, Spider Prince Nicholas finally decided to come and see the surface world.

Lian Yang was not exaggerating. According to the side story class storylines in the game, both the Dark Knight and the Creator chose to go back to the past to save the world after its destruction.

Shrugging, Prince Nicholas the Spider said helplessly, "I don't even know why I was resurrected. I was still preparing for my battle with my sister for the throne. But you're suddenly telling me this is a world hundreds of years after my kingdom's destruction, and that the world is suffering a massive catastrophe and is about to be destroyed?"

Holding his head in his hands, Lian Yang said without turning his head, "Thinking too much is tiring. Let's go, let's go to Krent's place first. That old fox has been cunning for a long time, he should know some things."

As the Queen's special envoy, Krent didn't actually have many official duties, which is why she did some side jobs in her spare time, such as opening an equipment enhancement shop.

"Could he be the child of some high-ranking noble family in the Delos Empire?" Krent guessed, looking at the Spider Prince Nicholas. Nicholas's elegant and noble demeanor made it hard not to associate him with nobility. Turning his head, he added, "That doesn't make sense either. I don't recall you having any contact with high-ranking members of the Delos Empire outside of the Knights."

Seeing that his words had sparked Krent's imagination, Lian Yang chuckled and said, "Don't be surprised. This handsome man should be considered a nobleman, though from several hundred years ago. He's the Spider Prince, Nicholas. I think you've heard of him."

"What?!" Krent was clearly taken aback upon hearing the name and hurriedly said, "Wait a minute!"

After saying that, he ran into the house in a flash. Even Lian Yang, who was standing outside, could hear the clanging and rummaging of things inside.

A short while later, Krent, holding a book, approached Lian Yang and the others. He carefully examined the Spider Prince Nicholas, flipping through the pages while muttering, "So alike, so incredibly alike! My God, how did a character from hundreds of years ago come back to life?"

Suddenly remembering something, Krent looked at Lian Yang and asked, "I remember that the first stop of your drifting cave was the ruins of the Spider Kingdom. Could it be that you met there?"

There are many kingdoms underground, but the most significant are the Dark Elf Kingdom, the Dwarf Kingdom, and the Spider Kingdom, which disappeared hundreds of years ago. As the absolute highest authority of these nations, the Dark Elf Kingdom has always preserved portraits of the leaders of various countries.

It was only because of the portrait of the Spider Prince Nicholas that Krent was able to confirm that the noble young man in front of him was the Spider Prince Nicholas, which he had collected at random.

Seeing that Krent had confirmed the identity of the Spider Prince Nicholas, Lian Yang hurriedly asked, "Krent, you've become quite the multi-talented person. Now we want to know the reason for his resurrection."

“Shalan?” Lian Yang knew this person; she was a very powerful mage, and it seemed that many characters in the later stages of the game would ask her about anything they didn’t understand regarding magic.

“Yes, that’s right!” Krent confirmed. “Going to her is the right thing to do. She’s in the Magic Guild near the central square of Dark City, not far from Kelly.”

Magicians are learned and noble beings in any plane, because they must master a vast amount of knowledge to go further in the field of magic.

To put it more closely, magic is like science, magicians are like scientists, and when it comes to knowledge, who can claim to be more learned than a scientist?

Just as they left Krent's residence, a stunningly beautiful woman walked towards them.

She was tall, easily 1.7 meters, with long, flowing purple hair that reached her hips, her face delicate and her skin fair and smooth. She carried a harp and wore a light purple dress as she slowly walked towards Lian Yang and the others.

"You...hello!" For once, Lian Yang actually took the initiative and nervously stepped forward to greet him.

"I came here specifically to see you!" the visitor said bluntly, his voice pleasant and melodious.

"Looking for...looking for me?" Lian Yang was full of questions. He was indeed amazed by the girl in front of him, and seeing her attire and long purple hair, Lian Yang was quite certain that she was Alice, the most beautiful bard in DNF.
