Yao Yingxi never imagined that the two most important people in her life would betray her in this way. Her trembling hands accidentally touched the vase on the cabinet by the door, making a crisp sound in the room filled with ambiguous sounds.

The two, lost in their passion, stopped what they were doing. Liang Yu turned around and saw Yao Yingxi suddenly appear. His eyes were filled with disbelief.

Yao Yingyue followed Liang Yu's gaze, looking bewildered, and said, "Sister..."

Yao Yingxi slowly moved her eyes to look at Yao Yingyue, her mind actually blank.

“Sister…” Yao Yingyue pushed Liang Yu away, wrapped herself in the quilt, and quickly walked to Yao Yingxi’s side, her voice filled with shame and guilt as she cried: “Let me explain.”

"I……"

Yao Yingyue began to sob without realizing it. Afraid that Yao Yingxi would resent her, she reached out to take Yao Yingxi's hand, but Yao Yingxi reflexively shook her off: "Don't touch me!"

With a dull thud, Yao Yingyue was pushed to the ground by Yao Yingxi. Her elbows hit the ground, scraping off large patches of skin, and blood quickly seeped out.

"Sister..." Yao Yingyue was stunned for a few seconds, then crawled to Yao Yingxi's side as if she didn't feel any pain: "Don't do this, I'm scared."

Liang Yu, still wearing his pants, strode over, helped Yao Yingyue up, carefully checked her elbow, and then looked at Yao Yingxi, saying in a deep voice, "Yingxi, how could you treat Yueyue like this? She's your sister! I know we've wronged you, but if you want to hit or scold someone, you can come at me, it has nothing to do with Yueyue!"

Three years later, all the beautiful memories of the past shattered, and Yao Yingxi seemed to finally understand Liang Yu at this moment.

Two people she knew so well, so deeply, stood before her, seemingly mutually attracted. Yao Yingxi finally snapped out of her daze. She glanced at her younger sister, with whom she depended on each other for survival, and her eyes instantly filled with bloodshot veins.

"You still know she's my sister?" Yao Yingxi raised her hand and slapped Liang Yu with all her might, her eyes red as she looked at him: "Liang Yu, even a rabbit doesn't eat the grass near its burrow! You can cheat on me, you can find any woman! But why her?!"

Yao Yingxi pointed at Yao Yingyue, the veins on the back of her fair hand bulging, her fingertips trembling: "Why her?"

"You two, one is my boyfriend whom I'm about to marry, and the other is the person I'm closest to in the world. How do you put me in this situation?"

“Sister…” Yao Yingyue looked at Yao Yingxi’s desperate attempt to control herself, pulled away Liang Yu’s arms that were holding her, and took two steps toward Yao Yingxi, but then hesitated to get closer, sobbing and unable to utter a complete sentence: “I’m sorry… I… I’m sorry, it was me… it was me, I was bewitched… it was me… I… shameless.”

"Sister... hit me, scold me! It's all my fault... it's all my fault... please don't ignore me... I'll apologize to you... I..." Yao Yingxi turned to look at the balcony, gritted her teeth, and decided to take a gamble. She rushed over quickly: "It would be better if I disappeared. If I'm gone, all of this will be over!"

Liang Yu was shocked. In his eyes, Yao Yingyue was more like a moth drawn to a flame.

Yao Yingxi's already pale face turned even paler, and her limbs were cold and stiff. Like a puppet, she could only stand there blankly watching Yao Yingyue's crazy actions.

Just as Yao Yingyue climbed onto the balcony to jump, Liang Yu grabbed her waist tightly, pulling her back from what he thought was the brink of death.

The two lovers, like a pair of star-crossed lovers separated by fate, clung tightly to each other on the balcony, crying as if it were the end of the world.

Yao Yingxi looked at them, and a mocking smile suddenly appeared on her lips.

She turned and quickly left the place that disgusted her.

It started raining outside sometime during the night, and lightning flashed across the dark night sky, splitting it in two.

The torrential rain pounded down on Yao Yingxi, causing her pain all over her body.

Rainwater mingled with tears, washing over her eyes. Yao Yingxi stood in the rain, unsure of where to go.

A beam of white light suddenly approached from afar, and Yao Yingxi moved slowly, trying to move aside.

With a "thud," the raindrops washing over my eyelashes turned a vibrant red.

Yao Yingxi tried to smirk, but before she could even move her muscles, she was plunged into endless darkness.
