The young maid was a newcomer to the manor and had no idea about these intricacies. She simply felt that although the Seventh Prince's clothes were expensive, they smelled bad, and she didn't want to take them.

She looked at her mistress in confusion, "Why hide it? Aren't you afraid that when the Seventh Prince wakes up, he won't be able to find any clothes and will be naked? My brother always gets chased and beaten by my father and mother with rolling pins whenever he goes out to play naked."

Before she could get a reply from the madam, her sister Bishu flicked her head hard. "What do you know, you little brat? Just carry the clothes when the madam tells you to. Why are you making such a fuss?"

Upon hearing Bi Shu's words, the little maid could only cover her head, carrying a set of clothes with slow, leisurely steps as she carried them out.

As she walked, the lady finally stripped off her young lady's clothes as well, and had time to explain: "We hid the Seventh Prince so that he wouldn't wake up and run away halfway through?"

Look at this kind of thinking! They take someone else's clothes, but they won't let that person run away.

The little maid still didn't understand after hearing the explanation. Sister Bishu came over with the young lady's clothes, put her arm around her shoulder and said, "If you don't understand, then don't think about it. Go and hide these two sets of clothes in the next room. You watch over these clothes in there and don't let anyone else in or take them. You can only hand them over when Madam tells you to. Do you understand?"

"Yes, ma'am." The little maid stared wide-eyed, accepting this strange task with a bewildered look.

After Sister Bishu finished giving her instructions, she tapped her forehead, as if she was still worried.

"Xiangshu, if you do a good job, you will be rewarded with silver."

The maid named Xiangshu hadn't been at the Duke Xiao's mansion for long, so she didn't know what a reward was. She bluntly told Bishu, "I have a monthly salary, do I need a reward too?"

“You idiot.” Bi Shu pointed at her and began to scold again: “The reward money is extra money, it’s different from the monthly salary.”

Xiang Shu was new to the place and, of course, wasn't as familiar with the area as Bi Shu. She didn't understand the difference between Yue Feng and the reward money, but she knew that she would get money, so she was very happy.

Seeing her dazed look, Bi Shu didn't want to say anything more, so she stood at the door and pointed to the door next to her so that she could go in.

Xiangshu took the clothes and went inside, waiting for the lady's instructions.

The lady was already covered in sweat, having gone to great lengths to remove the hairpins and ornaments from the Seventh Prince and Xiao Qingyin's heads.

After handing the hairpin to the maid, Madam Shen busied herself tying up Feng Mingjing and Xiao Qingyin's hair, thus becoming a married couple.

After she had done all that, she pulled the blanket over the two of them.

"Mission accomplished!" Madam Shen clapped her hands lightly, her expression as if she had conquered several cities, feeling particularly accomplished.

Bishu immediately wiped the sweat from her face.

"Madam, what should we do next? Are there any other medications we should prepare?"

"Send someone to keep watch at the door. Notify me immediately when the Emperor arrives," Madam Shen instructed directly.

Bishu was her personal maid, so she knew exactly what her mistress was going to do. "Madam, I have already sent Chenshu and a few servants to keep an eye on things. They will report immediately if anything happens."

Upon hearing this, Madam Shen was very satisfied: "Bishu, you've done a great job."

Bi Shu glanced at the man and woman embracing on the bed. "Madam, let's leave now. It wouldn't be good if the Emperor came and saw us here."

"you're right."

After confirming Bishu's statement, Madam Shen followed her out of the room in Qixia Courtyard, leaving only a few servants to keep watch from a secluded spot.

After they left, Bishu glanced at the room in the distance and asked, "Madam, what should we do with the eldest young lady? Should we just leave her lying there?"

Ms. Shen gently patted her forehead.

"Luckily you reminded me, I had completely forgotten about her. Hmph, of course I can't let her lie in Qixia Courtyard, otherwise it would ruin my son's plans."

Bi Shu said to the servants, "Did you hear that? Madam told you to carry the eldest young lady and her two maids away."

Upon hearing this, the servants prepared to carry the person away, but before doing so, they asked Bishu for her opinion.

"Madam, Sister Bishu, should we move the eldest young lady to Qingya Courtyard?"

Madam Shen raised her hand and said, "Yes, you can put her back in Qingya Courtyard."

"Madam was truly wise to choose Qixia Courtyard, so close to Qingya Courtyard, which means we servants won't have to work so hard," the servant flattered after hearing this.

Bi Shu laughed and said, "You all know how wise the madam is, why don't you hurry up and carry the eldest young lady back to Qingya Courtyard?"

"Yes." After receiving the order, the servant went to the music room.

As Madam Shen watched Xiao Fengyi and her two maids being carried back in the sedan chairs that had just been prepared by the servants, she suddenly remembered something.

"I heard that Xiao Fengyi was poisoned, and it's a very rare case of white frost appearing?"

Bi Shu thought for a moment and replied, "Yes, Madam. When our people went to deal with the fog bomb, that's what her two maids said. And... I heard that it was the Seventh Prince who poisoned her, because the poison White Frost Dew is very rare, but the Seventh Prince's guards have the antidote."

Madam Shen looked puzzled. "What did the Seventh Prince say? Did he really poison me?"

She remembered the reason why the Seventh Prince wanted to stay: he wanted Xiao Fengyi to testify and reveal that Feng Xingye had hoarded iron.

Poisoned?

Could it be that... Xiao Fengyi refused to testify, and the Seventh Prince, enraged, poisoned her?

Bi Shu whispered, "Madam, there's something fishy about this, because the Seventh Prince doesn't admit to poisoning us at all."

"You won't admit to poisoning?" Madam Shen was a little confused about what had happened between Xiao Fengyi and Feng Mingjing. "Then who poisoned her?"

Bi Shu then told her the information she had: "The guards around the Seventh Prince said that Xiao Fengyi did not want to report Prince Zhao, so she took poison to avoid disaster. The guard is still lying in the side room and has not yet woken up."

Madam Shen glanced in the direction of the side room, her face full of disbelief.

"How is that possible? Xiao Fengyi committed suicide for Prince Zhao? They had only known each other for a short time, and isn't Bai Shuanglu very difficult to obtain? Where did she get it from?"

"Madam, you've forgotten, the eldest young lady is a healer. She should be able to obtain any poison, right? We shouldn't underestimate her," Bi Shu whispered a reminder.

The matter of Xiao Fengyi's poisoning left Shen completely baffled; it was a complete mess, with many unsolved secrets and too many things she couldn't understand.

Madam Shen glanced in that direction and said irritably, "Forget it, Xiao Fengyi has already been poisoned. We don't know when she will wake up. In any case, just don't ruin Qingyin and the Seventh Prince's good time."
