When TL picked Caitlyn, everyone in EDG's voice microphone couldn't help but laugh.

"Jack, they're totally looking down on you, they're planning to pick a female cop to take you down." Left Hand was the first to tease Jack.

"So what do we say? Should we still pick Xayah and Rakan for bot lane? It feels like if we pick Xayah and Rakan this game, our bot lane will be completely unplayable." Meiko looked at Jack.

If EDG picks Xayah and Rakan in the bot lane this game, then Meiko will need to start roaming to help the mid, top, and jungle players establish early-game tempo.

"I can play either Ziggs or Sivir," Jack said nonchalantly, knowing that his role in this team was position four.

"The opposing team probably saw that we picked Elise and Renekton in the top lane and thought we would try to break through in the top lane this game, so they picked Caitlyn and Morgana," Flandre said with a smile.

"Why pick Xayah and Rakan? The enemy team has already picked Caitlyn, shouldn't we teach them a lesson this game?" Zhou Hanyang spoke up at this moment, looking at Jack and saying:

"What do you mean? Pick Draven and go for it. I'll start with blue buff, farm red buff, and gank bot lane. You guys push the lane, we'll tower dive. What use is a Skarner in the early game?"

"Are you really going to pick Draven?" Jack raised an eyebrow.

They used Draven against Caitlyn in the LPL, but the problem was that Draven was paired with Nautilus as support back then, while in this game, the support was Rakan.

With Morgana, TL is basically immune to Rakan's crowd control. This leads to a situation where the jungler Elise must initiate and break Morgana's Black Shield first, otherwise Rakan won't be able to follow up with crowd control.

“No problem, no problem!” Zhou Hanyang said with a smile, “It doesn’t matter whether the enemy bot lane gives us a chance or not. We just need to make it less comfortable for them. We don’t necessarily have to let them dominate the bot lane.”

“OK, let’s do it.” Jack agreed to Zhou Hanyang’s suggestion without further ado.

Since they decided to pick Draven, EDG took a more targeted approach in the second round of bans, banning Sion and Gragas as well.

TL banned Irelia and Jayce, clearly indicating they were going to pick Vladimir for the mid lane.

As expected, after the second round of bans, TL picked Vladimir for mid lane on the fourth floor of the red side.

As soon as TL picked Vladimir on the fourth floor, EDG immediately picked Draven and Ryze on the fourth and fifth floors of the blue side.

"Wow!" Wawa exclaimed in his classic voice: "EDG chose to go head-to-head with TL in the bottom lane. Even though they picked Elise and Renekton, they still wouldn't let TL get away with it."

"Hahahaha!" Miller laughed loudly and said, "This is the EDG we know, the youth storm of the LPL. Since you want to fight, I will definitely fight you to the end."

"If Draven plays Caitlyn, then Elise might gank bot lane at level three. On the other hand, Skarner is useless in the early game and can't help the bot lane. Now it depends on what champion TL picks for top lane." Zhou Shuyi continued to ramble on about meaningless, repetitive things.

TL clearly didn't expect EDG to be so aggressive, even abandoning the Xayah and Rakan combo and going straight for Draven for a direct confrontation.

Finally, they picked Maokai top lane on the fifth floor of the red team, hoping to use Maokai's ultimate to limit Draven's axe landing point and Ryze's lack of mobility in team fights.
