"EDG is really strong this year, isn't they?" Faker's voice echoed in the Bird's Nest stadium.

"We lost to EDG at this year's MSI, which proves EDG's strength. We also lost to EDG at MSI in S5, but we still won the World Championship. This year will be the same story."

……

"Aa ...

Faker's words caused the audience to cheer, and in the end, they all chanted Faker's name in unison.

"Faker!!!"

"Faker!!!"

"Faker!!!"

……

After Faker's screen disappeared, Clearlove appeared instead.

“S4 quarterfinals, S5 quarterfinals, S6 quarterfinals…” Mingkai first lowered his head slightly, but when he got to this point, he suddenly looked up: “I have reached the quarterfinals for three consecutive years.”

This time, I finally broke through the top eight and entered the finals. Even if it means burning myself out and giving it my all, I must win this championship.

I have no reason to lose, and I can't afford to lose. This championship is crucial for me, for the EDG team, and even for the LPL.

I wholeheartedly agree with what Attack said: "The championship trophy is right in front of me. This might be my only chance in this lifetime."

"Aa ...

The audience roared again, this time even louder than before.

"Factory Manager!!!"

"Factory Manager!!!"

"Factory Manager!!!"

……

Shouts echoed across the Bird's Nest stadium, the surging shouts filled with passion, almost shattering everyone's eardrums.

Amidst the passionate shouts of tens of thousands of people, the images on the big screen changed, revealing BP's logo.

"They're here, they're here, they're here!!!" Wawa took a deep breath: "This match is crucial for both teams!"

"SKT is still on the blue side, and EDG is still on the red side." Miller's words were particularly inspiring: "Neither team made any changes to their roster this game; they are still using the same players."

"SKT banned Jayce right away," PDD grinned. "Then Xayah and Tristana! Is SKT planning to start by attacking the bot lane this game?"

EDG, on the red side, banned Kalista, Galio, and Sejuani.

There are three strong junglers in the current version: Sejuani, Gragas, and Jarvan IV.

SKT didn't ban Jarvan IV themselves, clearly indicating they wanted to pick him. So EDG proactively banned Sejuani, eliminating the possibility of Jarvan IV being a viable top/jungle pick.

If the prince is really allowed to go top, then the jungler will have to pick an unconventional jungler.

As expected, SKT picked Jarvan IV on the blue side.

"Actually, I think EDG should ban Jarvan IV instead of Sejuani?" Wawa said with some doubt. "When SKT gets Jarvan IV, they can flex their top and jungle, but they can't flex their Sejuani and Gragas."

"Although I don't know exactly what EDG has prepared, EDG is doing this to force SKT to choose Jarvan IV."

PDD shook his head and said, "If SKT has a special tactical system that doesn't require Jarvan IV, then EDG will take Jarvan IV themselves."

Seeing that SKT had picked Jarvan IV, EDG immediately chose Gragas and Varus.

With Rakan banned, Lulu and Janna are still available, and Varus doesn't have a significant advantage when paired with Lulu or Janna.

Since SKT has already chosen Jarvan IV, they will definitely need to play a dive-in strategy in team fights. Using Gragas and Janna as counters is also a good jungle and support choice.

SKT picked Rakan to coordinate with Jarvan IV's engage, and their mid laner picked LeBlanc.

The moment Faker locked in LeBlanc, a deafening roar echoed through the air above the Bird's Nest stadium once again.

"Aa ...

"Faker's LeBlanc!!!" Miller shouted excitedly: "At this crucial moment in the game, Faker has chosen his signature champion, LeBlanc."

He's taking all the pressure upon himself; Faker has to step up and turn the tide; he has to personally protect SKT, his family.

With these first three picks, SKT has basically set the tone for their lineup.

Charge! Charge! It has to be a damn charge!

EDG immediately locked Lulu up on the third floor.

The two sides immediately began the second round of banning.

EDG banned Caitlyn and Kog'Maw.

SKT's lineup clearly lacks a core damage dealer in the late game, so they banned Caitlyn, a champion who can apply pressure, rotate lanes, and push towers.

As for the rat, it can use its skill range to keep up with the damage from a great distance.

SKT opted to ban Morgana and Malzahar.

When SKT banned Morgana, the crowd erupted again.

"Morgana!!! SKT lost to EDG at MSI in S5 because of Morgana. This time, after picking LeBlanc, they banned Morgana." The smile on Wawa's face couldn't be kept up anymore.

After both sides banned heroes, EDG naturally picked Syndra on the fourth floor of the red team to counter LeBlanc.

Syndra can engage in close-quarters combat with LeBlanc in lane, and she can also enhance the team's counter-attack capabilities in team fights.

SKT finally revealed their true intentions at this point, selecting Twitch and Nightmare on the fourth and fifth floors.

SKT has truly taken aggressive engagements to the extreme.

"SKT's Nightmare + Kog'Maw + LeBlanc strategy was originally used by EDG." Miller was extremely surprised: "I didn't expect SKT to pull out such a strategy at such a critical moment."

The crowd erupted in cheers once again.

All the spectators knew that this might be the last game.

Everyone was exceptionally enthusiastic and excited; the cheers have never stopped since BP started.

Nofe looked at Zhou Hanyang at this moment: "What do you want to do this game? We need to gain enough advantage in the laning phase, otherwise we will have a hard time in team fights if we have the same level of development."

"How about Camille? This game focuses on split pushing, and even with Nocturne and LeBlanc, it's not easy to catch Camille."

Mingkai offered advice, saying that their biggest asset this year is Zhou Hanyang in the top lane. Whenever a game is difficult, they rely on him to create an advantage by pulling the enemy out of the way.

"Camille?" Nofe pondered for a moment, then nodded slightly in agreement.

“Camille isn’t doing so well this game.” Zhou Hanyang shook his head slightly: “I’m not really afraid of split pushing. Even if Nocturne, Jarvan IV, or LeBlanc come to gank me, I can escape. But you guys can’t withstand the enemy’s charge in the front.”

Upon hearing Zhou Hanyang's words, Mingkai fell silent.

Charging into battle isn't scary; what's scary is the nightmare of turning off the lights, which makes everyone's vision disappear—that's deadly.

"So what do you think we should choose? The Buggy or Rambo?" Nofe asked.

Cho'Gath is purely for counterplay, while Rumble can use his ultimate to restrict Twitch, who has no mobility, in team fights.

Moreover, both of these laners are very strong in team fights against Jarvan IV.

“How about… Darius?” Meiko suggested.

Darius does have a good laning phase against Jarvan IV, but with this enemy team composition, isn't he just easy to kite in team fights?

"Don't even think of any more ideas." Zhou Hanyang hesitated for a long time before speaking again: "Pick Lucian for me."

"Lucian?" Nofe was slightly taken aback, but then understood what Zhou Hanyang meant: "You plan to decide the outcome in this team fight?"

“Lucian has mobility, so he's good against Jarvan IV in lane. In team fights, as long as he doesn't get hit by LeBlanc's full combo, he can clean up afterwards.” Zhou Hanyang paused here before continuing, “In this game, Varus will have a hard time surviving in team fights…”

"Alright! Since you've made up your mind, then pick Lucian." Nofe patted Zhou Hanyang's shoulder hard: "I believe in you. Play well and don't feel any pressure."

"OK!"

"Then let's choose!"

……

Meiko locked onto Lucian on the fifth floor of the red team.

The moment Lucian secured the lock, the crowd erupted in cheers and shouts once again.

"Lucian!!! Wow!!!" Wawa was the first to shout: "Attack actually picked Lucian for top lane in this game??? Both sides are completely bloodthirsty and are planning to fight hand-to-hand."

"Lucian! Is Attack planning to finish strong? They picked Kalista in their debut game and Lucian in their final game to win the championship!" Miller immediately joked, "Watching Attack play is incredibly entertaining."

"If Lucian wins this game and takes the championship, and then Attack chooses the Lucian skin after the match, then Attack will be completely legendary!!!" PDD exclaimed, praising the champion.

"Attack will lead EDG to make history and usher in the future of the LPL! The passing of the torch from the old to the new generation of EDG will be completed the moment they win the championship. Attack!!! Go go go!!!"

Cheers erupted at the scene, with everyone chanting Zhou Hanyang's ID!

"Attack!!!"

"Attack!!!"

"Attack!!!"

……

After both sides selected their lineups, they entered Summoner's Rift.

(Blue side SKT) vs (Red side EDG):

Top Lane: [Demacian Prince] vs [Lucian]

Jungle: [Eternal Nightmare] vs [Gragas]

Mid Lane: LeBlanc (The Deceiver) vs. Syndra (The Dark Sovereign)

ADC: Plague Rat vs. Arrow of Retribution

Support: [Phantom Feather] vs. [Fairy Witch]

"EDG!!! Go EDG!!!"

"EDG!!! Go EDG..."

"EDG!!! Add..."

"SKT!!! Go SKT!!!"

"SKT!!! Go SKT..."

"SKT!!! Add..."

Amid cheers from countless spectators and fans, the Summoner's Rift appeared on the big screen.

"Go go go go go!!!"

"come on!!!"

"Take it! Take it!!!"

……

Amidst cheers and encouragement from both teams, the match officially began!

(Actually, in the very first version, Zhou Hanyang chose Yasuo as the hero. Yasuo got a pentakill in the last game of the finals, and Gragas used his ultimate on several of them. Yasuo had a scene, and Gragas had a scene too!)

Ultimately, for the sake of the overall plot, such as choosing skateboard shoes for the debut and some special plot points after the match... I still think choosing Lucian is better!
