The old blacksmith led Su Yang and Lin Anlan to the entrance of Viscount White's mansion. Lin Anlan ordered the old blacksmith to wait where he was, and then he and Su Yang climbed over the wall and entered the mansion. When the old blacksmith saw the two of them climb over the wall, he could no longer stay where he was and disappeared without a trace in a flash.

Upon entering the Viscount's mansion, they didn't see the heavily guarded scene Su Yang had imagined, nor the brightly lit atmosphere of an ancient residence. Instead, it felt somewhat eerie. The two lowered their steps and approached the gate, gently pushing it. The gate didn't budge, indicating that the gate of Viscount White's mansion was quite sturdy.

Lin Anlan took a few steps back, looked up, and then led Su Yang to the side of the house. Fortunately, the Viscount's mansion was built of stone, and the walls had some uneven stones, which Lin Anlan and Su Yang could use to climb. The two climbed to the second floor and came to a balcony. Fortunately, the door leading from the balcony to the room was not locked. They pushed open the door and quietly sneaked into the room.

What came into view was a study. Lin Anlan searched it with practiced ease, giving Su Yang the impression that she did this kind of thing often. After searching, she found nothing. In Lin Anlan's eyes, apart from the bracelet material, nothing else mattered. Su Yang, on the other hand, looked left and right, appearing very curious. After all, there were many things here that he had never seen before, at least not since he came to the Dragon Absolute Continent.

After searching the room, the two left and went to other rooms to continue their search. The entire second floor was thoroughly searched, including reception rooms, wine storage rooms, and libraries, which were clearly not places to store treasure. Helpless, the two went to the third floor, which had very few rooms, only three in total. Su Yang guessed that the third floor should be Viscount White's bedroom or a large dormitory for servants.

Lin Anlan gently pushed the door open, and sure enough, it creaked open a crack. The sound was particularly jarring in the quiet night, and Su Yang's heart seemed to clench. Lin Anlan quickly glanced inside, then immediately left the room and returned to Su Yang's side, whispering, "This is where the servants live. Let's go upstairs."

Arriving on the fourth floor, the last floor, Su Yang didn't know how to describe it. Although the layout of the fourth floor was relatively normal, the decoration was exceptionally luxurious. Every inch of the floor was covered with red carpet, and every other pillar on the wall had a vase filled with roses. Su Yang felt that this luxury could be described as ostentatious.

Unlike the other floors, all the doors on the fourth floor were locked. Lin Anlan tried to push the doors one by one, but couldn't open them. Realizing that if they kept pushing, they would probably end up in the Viscount's bedroom, they gave up trying.

"What do we do now?" Lin Anlan asked, somewhat discouraged.

"I'm not too sure either. Why don't we go downstairs first? We haven't been to the first floor yet," Su Yang suggested after thinking for a moment.

The two tiptoed down to the first floor. Besides the kitchen, dining room, two living rooms (one large and one small), and a tea room, there was only a bathroom and a storage room. They searched the entire first floor but found no clues. They then returned to the fourth floor. Lin Anlan still believed that the rooms on the fourth floor that couldn't be opened must be where treasures and valuables were stored. So she came up with two plans: one was to force their way in and search each room one by one; the second was also to force their way in, find Viscount White first, and force him to hand over the bracelet materials.

Su Yang was speechless after hearing this. The two plans were essentially the same, and doing so was rather risky. What if there were capable fighters in the Viscount's mansion? Wouldn't that alert them? The two then began to argue quietly at the top of the stairs on the fourth floor.

At this moment, a sudden angry shout interrupted Su Yang and the other man's argument and shattered the tranquility of the night.

"Who goes there! Guards! There's an assassin!"

Suddenly, a burly man appeared at the top of the stairs on the third floor. He seemed to be the viscount's guard. When he heard the man calling for help, Su Yang knew something was wrong and quickly pulled Lin Anlan towards the fourth floor. The servants on the third floor heard the roar and came out of their rooms. Soon, nearly ten strong men gathered at the top of the stairs and rushed towards the fourth floor.

Seeing that the pursuers had caught up with him, Su Yang wanted to find a window to break and escape. However, he didn't know what kind of design preferences the viscount had, because the entire fourth-floor corridor had no windows, only room doors.

The noise grew louder, and a door opened in front of Su Yang's running direction. White walked out of the room looking sleepy, about to see what had happened, when Lin Anlan reacted quickly and punched him, knocking him down. Su Yang also helped pull White into the room and closed the door, keeping a group of servants and guards outside.

White had been punched by Lin Anlan and was rubbing his face in pain. When he opened his eyes, he saw Lin Anlan looking at him with ill intent, which startled White for a moment. But then he thought, as a nobleman and a fourth-order elementalist, how could he not be able to beat these petty thieves? He immediately regained his usual arrogance, stood up, and slowly walked towards the table while talking to Lin Anlan.

"Do you know that trespassing on a noble's residence is a crime?" White said, feigning authority, and slowly began to pace.

"Oh? I don't know. Tell me first what kind of noble you are, what your name is?" Lin Anlan found it amusing, as it was the first time she had ever seen a noble who could still be so tough after being knocked down.

"Hmph, ignorant fools! I am the hereditary viscount of South Bay City!" White had already walked to the table where the elemental bracelet was placed. He picked up the bracelet and laughed loudly, "How dare you petty thieves despise me! Prepare to die!"

After saying that, a flash of orange light appeared, and White activated his light element. A beam of light shot towards Lin Anlan and Su Yang. Lin Anlan jumped to Su Yang's side, and the beams of light followed and rushed towards Su Yang. However, when they reached Su Yang, they stopped as if they had hit an invisible wall and slowly dissipated. When the light faded, White's originally smug face showed some disbelief. He had been spoiled since childhood and always thought that his fourth-level strength would allow him to do whatever he wanted in Nanwan City. He never expected that today, two petty thieves in his eyes could easily block his elemental attack.

Thinking of this, White couldn't help but feel angry, and raised his hand to launch an even more ferocious attack, but Su Yang blocked them all. Taking advantage of the situation, Lin Anlan shot an arrow, accurately shattering the bracelet on White's wrist. Then, he drew his sword and held it to White's neck, followed by a punch. White immediately yielded.

"No, no, no, don't kill me! You two heroes, whatever you want in my mansion, I'll give it to you."

"Weren't you so arrogant just now? Why are you so soft now!" Lin Anlan said fiercely, like a bully, "Tell me, where are the rare bracelet materials you received these past two days?"

White pointed shakily to the door and said, "It's in my private treasure room."

"Lead the way!" Lin Anlan pressed White down, opened the bedroom door, and led him to the treasure room he had mentioned. He used his key to open the door to the treasure room. Once inside and the lights were on, he saw a dazzling array of treasures. Su Yang's bracelet material was lying quietly on the table in the center, carefully protected by a soft silk cloth.
