They searched the entire first floor but found no clues. They then returned to the fourth floor. Lin Anlan still believed that the rooms on the fourth floor that couldn't be opened must be where treasures and valuables were stored. So she came up with two plans: one was to force their way in and search each room one by one; the second was also to force their way in, find Viscount White first, and force him to hand over the bracelet materials.

The noise grew louder, and a door opened in front of Su Yang's running direction. White walked out of the room looking sleepy, about to see what had happened, when Lin Anlan reacted quickly and punched him, knocking him down. Su Yang also helped pull White into the room and closed the door, keeping a group of servants and guards outside.

White had been punched by Lin Anlan and was rubbing his face in pain. When he opened his eyes, he saw Lin Anlan looking at him with ill intent, which startled White for a moment. But then he thought, as a nobleman and a fourth-order elementalist, how could he not be able to beat these petty thieves? He immediately regained his usual arrogance, stood up, and slowly walked towards the table while talking to Lin Anlan.

"Do you know that trespassing on a noble's residence is a crime?" White said, feigning authority, and slowly began to pace.
