A gust of wind swept by, and Su Yang was awakened by the heat.

The unusual temperature was unbearable for Su Yang. He quickly realized that he had transmigrated, otherwise the temperature around him should have been 3-5°C, not so hot. Su Yang hurriedly got up and looked around. He found himself in a forest. It was dark all around, and the faint moonlight shone through the branches into the forest, adding an eerie atmosphere to the already dark forest.

"The most urgent thing now is to ensure my safety," Su Yang quickly sorted out his thoughts. The unfamiliar environment of this other world did not allow Su Yang to carefully study the function of the bracelet. He took off his heavy coat and quickly climbed up an unknown tree next to him, wanting to check the terrain from a high place to confirm the route forward.

"Judging from the current situation, the safety level of the high ground should be higher than that of rivers and valleys. I should find a high ground first, and then find a place to hide. If I encounter wild animals on the high ground, then it's fate that I'm doomed." Su Yang thought to himself. Soon he saw a small mountain peak. After confirming the location, he climbed down the tree, picked up his clothes and left quickly. Not long after he left, a pair of scarlet eyes slowly emerged in the darkness.

The small hill wasn't far, but the path was full of thorns and various unknown thorny plants. Unsure of the properties of these plants and worried about being poisoned, Su Yang had to keep taking detours. Finally, panting heavily, he reached his destination, found a relatively flat area, and sat down to rest against a rock. After a while, Su Yang got up and looked around for a place to hide. After searching around, he finally chose a cave. The cave entrance was about 3 meters high and 5 meters wide. Even though he was afraid that wild animals might be living inside, Su Yang still gritted his teeth and walked into the cave.

Less than 5 meters from the cave entrance, the bracelet suddenly tightened, its light flickering. Immediately, alarm bells rang in Su Yang's mind; a feeling of unease and panic washed over him. It seemed that if he took another step forward, he would be torn to shreds by the unknown creatures within. Su Yang immediately stopped and retreated, his eyes fixed on the cave, terrified that a monster would leap out and kill him in the blink of an eye. But after only a few steps back, he sensed something was wrong. The surrounding temperature seemed to have risen considerably. Although it was currently summer in this other world, the temperature shouldn't vary at different times of day. Su Yang turned to look, only to see… In the direction he had come from, various plants were rapidly withering, as if they had been dried out in an instant. They quickly turned from green to withered yellow, and then to black powder, dissipating in place. Stepping on the black powder, Su Yang saw a creature with fiery red fur and a burning tail. The creature resembled a leopard and had three tails, each ending in a flame. It was slowly walking towards Su Yang, and when it was about ten meters away, it suddenly charged. The surrounding temperature rose continuously as it approached, as if a burning fireball was crashing into him.

In an instant, Su Yang felt as if he were being pulled by a tremendous force, his body tilting to the side. At the same time, he felt his arm being torn apart, a burning and painful sensation shooting through him simultaneously. "Ah, hiss!" Su Yang couldn't help but grimace, looking down at his arm. He saw a deep claw mark, a faint flame flickering from the wound, the blood dripping onto the ground steaming. Cold sweat instantly broke out on Su Yang's back. If he hadn't instinctively dodged the attack, he might already be dead, his throat bitten. Although he knew it was futile, Su Yang still endured the excruciating pain, picking up a stone from the ground, preparing to fight back to the death. A brief confrontation ensued between man and beast, before the wild beast launched its second attack. This time, Su Yang was prepared for the attack. He noticed that the beast attacked in a pounce, so just before contact, he quickly ducked and rolled forward, barely dodging the attack. But as soon as he stood up, he felt a sharp pain in his back. It turned out that the beast, seeing that its pounce had missed, changed the direction of its claws in mid-air and slashed him hard with its front claws. Su Yang staggered backward, feeling that he was about to tragically die. Just as he was about to accept his fate, the beast stopped its attack and stared intently behind Su Yang. Su Yang sensed something was wrong and turned to look behind him. He didn't know when, but a giant python had appeared coiled at the entrance of the cave. The python was entirely black, with a white horn on its head and a pair of small, fish-fin-like wings on either side of its neck.

The man and the two beasts faced off, or rather, the two beasts were in a standoff. Soon, however, the two beasts charged at each other, locked in a fierce battle, binding and tearing at one another. In the struggle, Su Yang was also caught in the crossfire. While constantly dodging, he was ensnared by the giant python's tail, which was biting the leopard's neck. The leopard struggled fiercely, attacking the python with its four claws, leaving countless gashes on its body. With a spurting sound, it seemed the python had struck a vital spot, and the leopard slowly stopped, finally collapsing. Su Yang's danger was far from over; he was still tightly bound by the python's tail. "It seems I'm truly going to die here today," he thought.
