Socially anxious people transmigrate to another world; living in seclusion is too difficult.

The two walked into the mansion, and when they reached the entrance, a man claiming to be the butler took over and led the way. The butler led Su Yang and Lin Anlan through the hall and courtyard to Lena's room.

Lena was currently in a place resembling a sunroom, a room entirely covered by glass, much like the glass rooms in the original world. Su Yang observed that she seemed to be tending to the flowers and plants. The flowers in the room were blooming exceptionally brightly, seemingly unaffected by the low winter temperatures.

The butler went in to announce their arrival, and Lena turned around and saw Su Yang and the other person. She waved to them from afar and then walked over quickly.

"Why are you here?" Lena's tone was a mix of surprise and excitement. She had been feeling incredibly bored staying at home these past few days, and her father had almost finished his official duties and was waiting for his formal rest period. No matter how much Lena begged him, he wouldn't let her go out. So she was very happy to see Su Yang and Lin Anlan visiting.

"Huh? What are these?" Lena asked curiously when she saw the baskets Su Yang was carrying.

"Oh, you helped me a lot when I was building my house last time. We've come here today to thank you. These are vegetables we grew ourselves and dried meat we made ourselves. We don't really have anything special to offer, so we hope you don't mind," Su Yang said somewhat embarrassedly.

"Let me see!" Lena didn't seem to mind. She picked up the jerky, looked at it from left to right, and smelled it. She asked, "It smells pretty good. It has a kind of wood-burning smell. What kind of meat is this? How is it made? Is it tasty?"

A barrage of questions came out of Lena's mouth, and Su Yang could only explain one by one: "This meat is from our own hunting. An Lan said it's from a grass-warming beast, so the cooking method might be a little different. It's smoked, and I think it should taste good, so I brought it for you to try."

"Really? Thank you so much! Oh, it just so happens that my favorite pastry shop in town recently sent over a lot of pastries. I'll give you some to try," Lena said happily.

Su Yang was about to politely refuse when Lena ordered without giving him a chance to speak, "Butler, go and fetch some."

"As you command, miss."

"Come on, let's go to the reception room. It's a rare opportunity for you to come, so you should keep me company and have a good chat." With that, Lena pulled Su Yang and his companion toward the reception room.

Su Yang hurriedly waved his hand and said, "No, no, Miss Lena, we were planning to do some sightseeing in the city this time, so we won't bother you any longer."

"You want to go shopping? Then I'll go with you." When Lena heard Su Yang say that, she offered to go shopping with them.

Seeing this, Lin Anlan also spoke up: "Never mind, Miss Lena, let's do it next time. We do need to buy some things in the royal city today, so we'll be in a bit of a rush. Besides, if you go, you'll definitely have to pay for it for us, and we don't really like that."

Lin Anlan was more direct; Su Yang really couldn't have said it. She then asked the housekeeper to find a container to pack up the vegetables and dried meat that Su Yang had brought. Su Yang declined several times, but seeing that he couldn't refuse, he had no choice but to accept them.

After leaving the Duke's mansion, the two of them found that their baskets, which should have been empty, now contained several boxes of pastries. They walked to another market before officially starting Su Yang's plan to buy New Year's goods.

As they strolled along the street, the two of them would wander in and browse whenever they came across a shop that looked interesting. Su Yang preferred to visit food shops, while Lin Anlan preferred jewelry and clothing stores. They walked and stopped frequently, moving from the main street to the side streets and then to alleys. The number of pedestrians gradually decreased. After passing a corner, they saw groups of two or three people walking into a small door in an alley not far away. This made Su Yang curious. What kind of shop was so attractive that people kept going in but never came out?

The two followed a man to the small door, where the man walked straight in, disappeared around a corner, and vanished from sight. The two exchanged a glance and went in to find out what was going on.

After entering through the small gate, they wandered around and arrived at a winery. The winery was not large, and a few people were sitting scattered around drinking. A waiter-looking man saw the two of them and came over to ask, "Are you two here for a drink?"

"Uh, um," Su Yang replied hesitantly.

"Please be seated," the waiter said, leading the two to a table.

"What would you two like to drink? We have several specialty wines here, namely Veron, Water Cloud, Fleeting Dream, and Life and Death Together. Which one would you be interested in?"

"The name is quite interesting," Su Yang thought to himself, becoming interested in the wine called "Life and Death Together." What kind of wine could be called "Life and Death Together"? He immediately said, "Life and Death Together."

"Is this young lady also here?" The waiter was taken aback, then looked at Lin Anlan and asked.

"Yes, I'm the same as him."

"Okay, I understand. Please wait a moment."

After speaking, the waiter pushed open a wooden door at the back of the bar and went inside. Su Yang assumed he was going in to mix drinks, as it involved trade secrets and he didn't want outsiders to see it. After all, it was a specialty drink, so it was understandable. Unexpectedly, the waiter quickly came out, empty-handed, and went straight to Su Yang and Su Yang, respectfully saying, "Distinguished guests, please follow me."

"Huh?" Su Yang was clearly surprised by the waiter's response. Why did they have to change locations to drink their specialty drinks? But he followed the waiter, still somewhat bewildered.

The two followed the waiter through the wooden door, which led to a deep, narrow corridor illuminated only by a few dim oil lamps. The waiter led them down the winding corridor, and Su Yang felt as if he were descending into the ground. Soon, they arrived at a relatively spacious room. Opposite the room was a large, heavy iron door, guarded by two burly men who appeared to be protecting something.

The waiter approached the two burly men, whispered a few words to them, and the two men nodded in understanding. Then, the waiter pushed open the heavy iron door and turned to the two men, saying, "Distinguished guests, please follow me."

After entering the iron gate, they entered another corridor and could vaguely hear noisy voices coming from ahead. After turning a corner, a huge underground space suddenly appeared in front of them. The lighting inside was not particularly bright, and the light was divided into dozens of places. The pillars were covered with dim oil lamps.

The space seemed to be divided into two floors. Looking up, there were many rooms on the second floor, each of which was open-plan and only covered by curtains. Many women dressed in sexy or even revealing clothes moved back and forth between the first and second floors. On the other side, there were many women snuggling up to men on several rows of sofas.

The few dozen slightly brighter spots were all crowded with people, and shouts, excited cries, and desperate sobs erupted from the crowd from time to time. Following the waiter forward, as we passed those bright spots, we could see that they were large round tables with piles of gold and silver coins on them, along with some playing cards and stone slabs.

Upon seeing this, Su Yang immediately realized that this was a casino, and quite a large one at that. Soon, a richly dressed man approached and warmly welcomed them, saying, "Oh my, distinguished guests, welcome to this wonderful world! Would you like to play Crazy Solitaire or Heartless Slate?"
