Road Survival: My RV is a Moving Castle

Chapter 8 Intelligent Mechanical Bear - Song Daidai

Undeterred, Song Chiyu put the teddy bear aside and continued rummaging through the gift bag, but found nothing.

"001, come out and talk."

Unfortunately, 001, immersed in her grief, was still lost in her own internal monologue and unable to respond.

Helpless, Song Chiyu picked up the teddy bear and looked it over from left to right, trying to figure out what was going on.

That shouldn't be the case. The system description says it has such powerful functions, it shouldn't just be an ordinary little bear.

There must be another hidden secret.

suddenly.

"Gurgle, gurgle, the intelligent mechanical bear has been successfully activated!"

Suddenly, blue light appeared in the eyes of the teddy bear in my hand, its neck twisted slightly, and then its limbs began to move.

Song Chiyu was so frightened that he threw the teddy bear away.

It's no wonder she reacted so strongly; the bear's movements were too much like those of a mutated zombie.

She likes to watch zombie movies while eating, but that doesn't mean she enjoys being close to them.

The bear cub, which had been thrown to the ground, rolled around a few times before suddenly stretching out a strong little hand to brace itself against the ground and prevent itself from rolling any further.

It slowly stood up, looked left and right, and then fixed its gaze on Song Chiyu, who was still standing there in a daze.

Song Chiyu stood frozen in place, her slightly open mouth expressing her shock.

The little bear took two steps toward her and bowed politely.

His serious demeanor suddenly struck a chord with Song Chiyu, bringing her back to her senses from her shock.

She's kind of cute!

Curious, she crouched down and poked the little bear that could move on its own.

A notification suddenly appeared above the bear.

"This is a mechanical bear."

Song Chiyu was speechless. Did you really need to tell me? You didn't even offer any useful hints.

She ruthlessly raised her hand and waved away the notification box.

"Since you're so small, I'll call you Little Nose Ga!"

Little Nose tilted its head as if it had thought about it for a moment, as if it had accepted the name.

Then it patted its own head and gestured to Song Chiyu to indicate the top of its head.

Song Chiyu suddenly regretted giving it such an awful name.

"Fine, let's change your name. From now on, you'll be called Daidai, and your full name will be Song Daidai."

He blinked his round eyes at her blankly and nodded.

Looking at the fluffy head that was sticking out to it, Song Chiyu immediately noticed the small button, about the size of a fingernail, on its head.

Click the button, and a pale yellow screen appears above Daidai's head.

"Intelligent Mechanical Bear (Upgradeable)"

Name: Song Daidai

"Rank: Obedient Bronze"

"Function: It is a great helper to mankind. There is nothing it cannot do if you can imagine it. Please develop it to your heart's content!"

"Additional information: It only needs one battery a day to keep it full of energy, and it's easy to care for!"

Although the introduction on Dada Bear's personal panel is brief, it also means that it is full of endless possibilities.

"It's cute, but it's a bit too small. How can it be of any help?" Song Chiyu couldn't help but say.

Upon hearing this, Dazed Bear stood there stunned for a moment, then suddenly reached out and pulled at his own body right in front of her.

Song Chiyu's eyes widened slightly as he watched its movements with curiosity.

Under the pull of the dazed bear, its body became as soft as dough, then stretched and expanded, finally settling at 45 centimeters.

No, it's only 5 centimeters longer, which is about the height of a Shiba Inu.

Hahahaha.

Song Chiyu couldn't help but laugh to herself; judging from this situation, she thought something big was going to change.

No problem, since it's a bear that can be upgraded, she'll feed it well and help it grow up to be plump and healthy, becoming her true helper.

She reached out and touched Daidai's fluffy head, sighing inwardly.

Ultimately, it provides an extra boost to survival.

Turning her gaze away from the dazed bear, Song Chiyu glanced at the gift box that looked like a dork, a glint of light flashing in her eyes.

Now is a time when we have nothing, so we must not waste any potentially useful resources!

She first removed the colorful ribbon from the gift box; such sturdy ribbon would definitely be useful in the future.

There is one gift box, approximately 1.5 meters long, wide, and high, left to be processed.

Song Chiyu reached out and touched it, then squeezed it hard, discovering that its material was unlike anything she had ever seen before.

However, it is very hard, like glass but more flexible, and the inside is smooth and clean.

She tore off the colored paper pasted on the outside of the gift box, revealing the transparent box inside.

Isn't this the perfect water storage container?

Song Chiyu was grinning from ear to ear.

However, before she could finish laughing, two huge figures suddenly appeared behind her.

Song Chiyu looked in the direction of the dark figure with a puzzled expression, and was immediately so frightened that his pupils trembled.

Two enormous ostriches were seen galloping toward her across the road, kicking up dust equal to that of a small truck.

Their faces were filled with hatred and anger, and their red eyes, gleaming like deadly daggers, seemed intent on tearing her apart.

His body reacted faster than his brain; without a word, Song Chiyu picked up the still clueless girl and placed her on the back of the bicycle.

He then rode off on his bicycle at a speed comparable to that of a sprinter at the start.

Good heavens!

These two must be the parents of that pile of ostrich eggs, coming to seek revenge on her.

She said there's no such thing as a free lunch.

However, no matter how fast Song Chiyu stomped his legs, he still couldn't match the ostrich's powerful leg strength.

In less than five seconds, two ostriches ran to her left and right respectively.

Feeling the pressure from both sides, Song Chiyu pedaled with all his might.

"Cuckoo! Cuckoo!"

"Goo!"

The slightly larger ostrich on the right was the first to attack.

Song Chiyu caught a glimpse of the gleaming bird's beak to the side out of the corner of his eye, and quickly tilted his head to the side, narrowly avoiding it.

Not to be outdone, the ostrich on the left attacked from both sides with its two beaks, startling Song Chiyu so much that he quickly stopped the car to avoid danger.

The bicycle braked suddenly, and Daidai, who was sitting on the back, fell off due to inertia and rolled right in front of the two ostriches.

"Goo!"

Before it could react, a sharp beak appeared on its head.

"Damn it!" Song Chiyu couldn't help but exclaim.

The next second, just when Song Chiyu thought her newly acquired robot was about to be destroyed, a blue-purple bolt of lightning appeared in Daidai's palm.

"Snapped!"

A crackling sound of electricity rang out, and the ostrich that was closest to the dazed bird was instantly electrocuted, its feathers turning completely black.

A gust of wind blew, and the dark, wispy fur fluttered about, carrying with it a burnt smell.

The ostrich stood upright on the ground, trembling as it clutched its body, which looked like a boiled chicken.

"Gu!!"

The other ostrich was so frightened that it instinctively tried to bury its head in the ground, but unfortunately, it was a highway, and the hard asphalt pressed its scalp tightly against the ground.

Seeing that it couldn't protect its head, it hesitated for a moment, then lifted its foot and scurried away in the direction it had come from.

The one that had been electrocuted and turned into a boiled chicken noticed that the other one had run away, so it hurriedly flapped its smooth wings and ran after it.

Song Chiyu was utterly dumbfounded as he watched the two ostriches, each the size of a small bulldozer, flee in disarray.
