He picked out a piece of fish, blew on it, and tasted it himself first. He thought it was alright.

Glancing at Akahoshi who was eagerly waiting beside her, Shen Yu deliberately brought the spot where she had eaten to Akahoshi's mouth.

"Taste it?"

Akahoshi lowered his head and took a bite, his face instantly turning red to his neck. Then, for some reason, he laughed like a fool.

He can see in the dark, and when he catches a fish he likes in the sea, he uses his magical claws to tear it apart, scrubs it clean, and then floats it to the surface to eat.

However, he had his back to his wife, and since merfolk use sharp teeth to eat, he was worried about scaring her.
