Model worker and his little darling

Chapter 510 Another Day of Heroic Acts

Upon hearing the AR-7, Ping Qing raised an eyebrow. The biggest feature of this gun is its quick and easy disassembly and assembly. Without any tools, the AR-7 can be quickly disassembled into four main parts in seconds. Its firing mechanism, barrel, and magazine can all be installed in the rear of the stock, and it can be quietly taken away in a briefcase without attracting attention.

Ito Suehiko is such a useless guy, he didn't even hit the target once.

"Why is Shimizu Reiko being investigated?"

Kaito Kuroba shrugged. "I don't know about that."

Conan surveyed the scene and made a discovery: the bloodstains on the back of the head on the ground where the body lay were unusually sparse, while the bloodstains on the chair ran vertically down the seat. Hattori also noticed that one of the chair's wheels had been hit and had fallen off.

These discoveries brought smiles of understanding to their faces.

The annoying phone rang again.

"You seem to be getting close to the next stage. Now you know what kind of case I want you to solve."

"It's the case of Shoji Nishio being shot, isn't it?"

A sigh came from the other end of the phone. Hattori wanted to say something, but found that the call had been disconnected.

Hearing the sound of a motorcycle, Hirai looked at Kuroba Kaito and said, "Trouble is brewing."

Just then, the sound of shattering glass rang out. Kaito Kuroba chuckled, "Looks like this isn't going to be anything good."

The four of them together were too conspicuous, so they decided to split up. Ping Qing waved his hand, and the two men in black who had followed him were struck by a beam of black light, slammed heavily against the wall, and then fell to the ground without a sound.

On the other side, Hattori picked up a steel pipe and pointed it at the man in black, saying, "One-on-one, bring it on."

He dodged the oncoming motorcycle, swung the steel pipe with all his might, and smashed it into the head of the man in black. The helmet flew off, revealing a head of blond hair and a face full of fierce features.

"What an ugly face."

Faced with Hattori's taunts, the blond-haired man pulled out a pistol. Unfortunately, his aim was poor, and he only managed to hit the steel pipe in Hattori's hand. Seeing that Hattori was still alive and kicking, the blond-haired man's anger soared, and he fired several more shots.

Fortunately, Hattori was lucky enough to dodge all the bullets by rolling and crawling.

Before he could even catch his breath, another person appeared behind him, and Hattori knew things were going badly.

"Get out of the way!"

Upon hearing this, Hattori quickly hid behind the iron gate. He then saw Hakuba Saguru pull out a playing card gun and shoot the assassin's wrist, causing the gun to fall from his hand.

Hattori gritted his teeth; he knew Hakuba Saguru was suspicious. The only person who could take his phone without him noticing was Kaito Kid!

I originally intended to catch the person after the incident, but now I owe them a favor.

Without time to think too much, Hattori rolled over and picked up the gun from the ground.

The two worked well together, and for a time the assassins couldn't do anything about them.

Conan, on the other hand, was in trouble. The assassin couldn't find Hirai, so he spotted the weakest kid and followed him.

Having no other choice, Conan started his skateboard and sped out of the building into the alley.

Seeing this scene, Ping Qing, who was leisurely following behind, clicked his tongue and said, "I knew it! This skateboard is much better than a motorcycle, it can fly through the air and go down to the ground."

Unable to catch Conan, the assassins decided to split up and surround him.

Conan, who had been traveling smoothly, suddenly encountered a blocked section of road. He glanced back at the killer who was hot on his heels, gritted his teeth, and charged straight through.

Seeing this, the assassin behind him pulled out a gun and began firing indiscriminately.

Conan, abandoning the smooth, flat road surface, took off directly on his skateboard and flew onto the iron frame of the bridge.

The assassins didn't give up, firing indiscriminately for a while before finally hitting the skateboard's wheel. Conan lost his balance, fell off the metal frame, crashed into the frame below, and ultimately fell into the sea.

The assassin left satisfied, watching the skateboard floating on the sea.

Heiji scooped up the unconscious Conan. Sigh, another day of heroism.

……

hospital.

I had just put down my phone when Hattori rushed in, panting heavily.

"How is Kudo?"

Ping Qing pointed to Conan, who was wrapped up like a dumpling on the hospital bed, "He has a broken leg and a mild concussion. The doctor said it's not a big problem and he just needs to rest."

Looking at Conan, who was pale and unconscious, Hattori was dumbfounded. He looked so serious, was it really not a big problem?

"Are you guys okay?"

Hattori shook his head. In the end, Phantom Thief Kid used a smoke bomb to help him escape, then said he had something to take care of and left. Later, he called Hirai and learned that they had arrived at the hospital, so he rushed over.

"Did you already know that Hakuba Saguru's true identity was Kaito Kid?"

Ping Qing nodded. "Didn't you all guess it too? That proves his disguise wasn't up to par."

"What should we do now?"

"We've investigated the matter thoroughly. Now we're just waiting for the uncle to come and pick us up so we can go find the client together."

Hattori breathed a sigh of relief; thankfully, everything was still in time.

As the two were talking, Conan woke up.

"Ahem, where am I?"

Conan clutched his head, "Ouch, that hurts!"

Hattori quickly pressed the person back down, "Lie down properly, is anything uncomfortable? I'll go get the doctor."

Watching Hattori run off, Hirai's lips twitched. He really cared about Conan.

Oh, poor Kazuha.

After a check-up, the doctor said the situation was better than he had imagined, and that with rest he would recover quickly.

How did I end up in the hospital?

"I had just dealt with the assassins on my side when I saw you fly off on your skateboard, followed by a group of assassins. I even stole a motorcycle but couldn't keep up with you. By the time I got there, I saw you crash into a metal frame and fall into the sea. If it weren't for me, you would be dead to the sea today."

Hattori's eyes widened. "Fly out?"

Conan chuckled sheepishly, saying it wasn't as exaggerated as Hirai made it out to be.

Just then, Uncle Mori arrived and was relieved to see that Conan was alright.

"Let's go, we don't have much time left, let's go see the client first."

In the car.

"On the night Nishio Shoji was shot, a car overturned at the dock, and the driver was Ito Suehiko. After being seriously injured and hospitalized, the police launched an investigation and found that the car had been tampered with, and there was a rifle in the trunk. As a key suspect in both cases, he was closely monitored by the police, but two months later, he mysteriously disappeared from the hospital. Later, the police found a trace of mascara on the scope, so the real murderer should be Shimizu Reiko, who had already committed suicide."

Listening to the two discussing the case, Pingqing smiled as she looked at the messages on her phone.
