Model worker and his little darling

Chapter 16 Conan the Police Dog

Yoko was startled by Uncle Mori's actions, but she still slowly began to speak: "Every time I come home, the furniture is in a different position, and there are inexplicable photos. I also receive silent phone calls every day. It's really scary."

After hearing this, Uncle Mori clenched his fist in righteous indignation: "How could they do such a thing to Yoko?"

Tsk, the legendary sasaeng fan.

Pingqing stood behind Uncle Mori. He remembered that Vodka seemed to like Yoko Okino as well.

The man standing behind Yoko Okino also spoke up: "If possible, I would like to commission you to conduct a secret investigation. I am Yoko's manager, my name is Sakae Yamagishi."

After saying that, he handed over his business card.

Uncle Mori took the business card, immediately took out a CD, and handed a black pen to Yoko, indicating that she should sign it.

Taira Kiyoshi immediately took out several CDs and covered Mori's CD with them.

"Ms. Yoko, I'm also a fan of yours. I've watched all the dramas you've acted in, and I still listen to your debut song all the time. Could you please sign this for me?"

Uncle Mori: !!! !!!

He only took one CD, but Pingqing actually pulled out four or five at once and put them on top of his CDs!

When Yoko heard that Hirayoshi was a fan of his, she generously signed his autograph.

Pingqing glanced at Uncle Mori, who was glaring at him fiercely, and immediately put the CD away.

The older man put his arm around Pingqing's shoulder and said, "Pingqing, how have I treated you all this time?"

“The uncle is extremely good to me.” Pingqing nodded affirmatively.

"In that case, how about I have two copies of Ms. Yoko's autograph?"

"No way, uncle, you have one too, why are you taking mine? This is the autograph of the big star Yoko Okino, how can you just give it away like that?"

Yoko was initially confused as she watched the two fight over the CD, but she burst out laughing when she heard Hirai's words.

Ran, Conan: ...

But they felt very ashamed.

Hearing Yoko's laughter, Uncle Mori immediately became serious: "Alright then, Miss Yoko, I'll go to your apartment now to investigate."

"Can I go too? I really want to see what my idol's room looks like. And Conan and Kiyoshi-san want to go too, right?"

Conan and Heiji nodded in agreement.

And so, the group headed to Yoko's apartment.

Pingqing took a picture of the autographed photo and sent it to Vodka. Hehe, this is a good thing. I'll ask Vodka to do things for me in the future. He'll definitely agree.

Soon, Vodka called, but Pingqing calmly hung up.

Then he made more than a dozen more calls, and Pingqing hung up on all of them.

【Mishika, tell me, how can I get Yoko Okino's autographed photo?】

Ping Qing looked at the information about vodka and a triumphant smile appeared on his face.

"Brother Pingqing, why are you smiling so creepily?" Conan asked curiously, trying to climb over to take a closer look.

Pingqing pinched Conan's cheek: "Because your brother is showing off Ms. Yoko's autographed photo to his friend."

"Oh, I see."

Pingqing ruffled Conan's hair hard again: "What else did you think?"

Then he replied to Vodka: I have several more, now it's up to you how you perform.

……

At the base, Gin watched Vodka's emotions shift from extreme excitement to constant phone calls, to clenching his teeth, to listlessness, to utter despair.

He seemed rather neurotic, showing a tendency to resemble Pingqing.

"what are you doing?"

Vodka was still basking in the immense happiness of possibly getting Yoko Okino's autographed photo when he heard his older brother's terrifying voice from behind.

Vodka immediately put away his phone: "Uh, bro, I messaged Mishika, he got Yoko Okino's autographed photo."

Gin nodded. He knew that Vodka liked cute girls, but he wondered why that kid, Hirai, had started chasing after celebrities too.

Knowing that nothing was wrong, Gin stopped caring about the messy little things among his underlings.

……

A group of people were standing downstairs at Yoko's apartment building when several mischievous kids fell out of the trunk of a car. When they realized they had been discovered, they just stood there grinning foolishly.

Conan: !!! !!!

Aren't these the three school bullies who kept pestering him to be their friend? How did they end up here?

"This is dangerous! How can you hide in someone else's car like that? What if it's a bad guy? Give me your parents' phone numbers, and I'll have them come pick you up right away." Uncle Mori gave Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko a lecture.

"We only came along because we wanted to be friends with Conan, and we also wanted to meet our idol, Yoko Okino," Ayumi said pitifully.

Genta and Mitsuhiko nodded frantically on the side.

Uncle Mori looked at Conan and said, "You've caused this mess, so clean it up yourself."

Yoko Okino, beautiful inside and out, calmed down the irritable Mori: "Alright, Detective Mori, their parents won't be here for a while, so let these kids stay with us for now."

And so, a large group of people walked into Yoko's house.

"Ah ah ah ah ah--"

Screams erupted one after another, and Pingqing, standing on the outermost edge, made a call to the police.

Inspector Megure arrived quickly.

Uncle Mori stepped forward and explained most of what had happened to Inspector Megure.

"I see. You just got here and saw that this man had already been killed, right?" Inspector Megure looked at Uncle Mori with disdain.

"Haha...that's how it is, Inspector Megure."

Inspector Megure, unable to contain his anger any longer, yelled at Uncle Mori, "I said, you came to investigate Ms. Yoko's surveillance, why did you bring so many people, especially so many children? How are we supposed to investigate when they're running around like that?"

Following the direction Inspector Megure pointed, Uncle Mori saw Conan peeking around next to the corpse and immediately punched Conan in the head.

"Hey kid, don't mess around with crime scenes."

Pingqing looked curiously at the large bump on Conan's head and poked it with his finger.

"Ouch, Brother Pingqing, it hurts so much!" Conan cried out, looking like he was about to burst into tears.

Pingqing looked at Conan with a grin, pressed hard, and then the bag was pushed back into place.

Conan: ...

Seeing that Uncle Mori wasn't paying attention to him, Conan started rummaging through the scene again, completely captivating Hirai.

Conan does the work of a police dog; he crawls all over the place, under the sofa, and in the corners of the walls.

Have you seen this person before?

"Excuse me, I need to get closer to see it."

As the agent approached the body, his foot slipped, and he made intimate contact with the corpse.

Ping Qing narrowed his eyes. This guy's acting is terrible. He turned to look at Conan and found that he was also staring at the manager with a serious expression.

The agent quickly stood up and apologized: "I'm sorry, I don't know this person. Is that right, Yoko?"

Yoko paused for a moment and nodded, but still stood slightly uneasy beside her manager.

Yoko's mental fortitude is rather weak; she hasn't even killed anyone yet.

The person in the amusement park who killed someone can still stand there calmly and watch the show.

"Officer, there's something under the sofa..." Conan wanted to tell Inspector Megure that there was an earring under the sofa, but being a child, he was immediately slapped away.

Conan had no choice but to take out the butterfly voice changer and use a man's voice to explain about the earring.

Pingqing glanced at Conan, noticing that no one seemed to suspect the sudden voice, and thought, "No wonder he's the protagonist."

“These are earrings from Ms. Yuko Ikezawa, who debuted at the same time as me.”

"Now the truth is out, the culprit is Yuko Ikezawa, go and arrest that girl." With Uncle Mori's order, the young policeman beside him rushed out.

Ping Qing's lips twitched. These police officers really could be commanded by anyone.
