What happened last night?

Upon hearing Gin's question, Taira Kiyoshi recounted everything he had done after entering the banquet.

Suddenly, Pingqing thought of something, picked up the phone and called the BOSS, giving the intelligence team a good scolding. After hanging up, Pingqing felt much better.

He checked his emails and saw that Narumi had sent him information about Conan's condition at the hospital, including his physical data and treatment details. He glanced at it and forwarded it to his father.

Unfortunately, Conan hasn't woken up yet, and Uncle Mori and Ran are still at the hospital watching over him.

Hirai moved his shoulder, a sharp pain shooting through him. The gunshot wound wasn't serious; with the organization's medicine, it would heal quickly. However, the punches from Akai Shuichi made Hirai feel like he'd suffered internal injuries.

Thinking of this, Pingqing took out his computer; he wanted to check when this person had arrived.

Seeing Hirai's actions, Gin immediately reached out to stop him, saying, "We'll do these things when you're better."

Seeing Gin's unyielding expression, Hirai pursed his lips. Fine, there's no rush.

With nothing to do, Taira Kiyoshi leaned against Gin and watched him handle things, and soon began to doze off.

Seeing this, Gin had no choice but to pick up Taira and carry him to the room.

After a while, seeing that Heikiri was fast asleep, Gin gently kissed Heikiri's forehead, then turned and left the room.

After Professor Agasa and Ai Haibara woke up, they saw Inspector Megure and Uncle Mori.

"Professor Agasa, what has Conan been doing at your house these past few days?"

Haibara remembered that they had gone to the memorial service together; she and Dr. Agasa were unconscious, leaving Conan alone. So she immediately asked, "Where's Edogawa Conan?"

Uncle Maoli said in a deep voice, "He was shot twice and was found by the police next to a trash can. He is currently unconscious."

Upon hearing this, Haibara and the Doctor were shocked. Haibara, in particular, began to tremble, her mind immediately turning to the Organization—it was them who had intervened.

She was clearly at the memorial service with Conan when she was drugged; someone was protecting her.

"Professor Agasa, please tell us what you know. Conan told me that Ai Haibara suddenly disappeared at the City Hotel, and we can't get through to you on the phone either. What exactly is going on?"

Professor Agasa opened his mouth, but didn't know what to say. He didn't know what was going on either, so he could only look at Ai Haibara next to him.

In the hospital room, Professor Agasa looked at Ai Haibara and asked, "What should we do?"

Professor Agasa sighed. He should have stopped Conan from going to the City Hotel and getting involved in this matter.

Uncle Mori returned to Conan's side and saw that Ran looked exhausted. "Ran, you should go home and rest. I'll take care of things here."

Xiaolan was about to speak when she noticed that her father's expression was also not good, so she nodded silently and went home to cook.

Not long after, Yusaku Kudo and Yukiko arrived at the hospital.

Uncle Mori contacted Yukiko when Conan went into the operating room. Since Conan had such a big problem under his care, he felt it was necessary to tell Conan's parents. However, he did not expect that it would be the Kudo couple who arrived.

Seeing Yukiko crying her eyes out, Yusaku Kudo pulled her into his arms. "Don't cry. We'll know what happened when our son wakes up. I heard that Professor Agasa is also in the hospital. Let's go see him."

Conan lowered his head and slowly recounted what had happened.

After hearing Conan's description, Haibara knew that the person who made the move was Mishika, and the other person reminded her of her sister's boyfriend, Moroboshi Dai.

"Xiaoxin, you're too reckless. You knew it was dangerous, but you still followed them. No matter how smart you are, you're still just a child in a child's body. What did you promise your parents? I think you should come live with us in America. Even if we don't get the antidote, it's okay. We can watch you grow up again."

For Yukiko, Shinichi's safety was more important than anything else.

Seeing Yukiko's red eyes, Conan knew he had acted rashly this time. "I'm sorry, Mom, I was wrong. I promise you I will never get hurt again, and I will never be so reckless again. But I still want to stay in Japan. I need to find the drug information, and I want to become Shinichi Kudo again."

He absolutely refused to leave Japan for America. People he loved and enemies were there; how could he possibly go to America doing nothing?

Seeing Conan earnestly assuring her, Yukiko gave a haughty snort and turned her head away. This brat only knows how to make his old mother worry all day long. After saying so much, he still doesn't want to go to America with them to live.

After calming his mother down, Conan looked at Ai Haibara and asked, "Haibara, where were you back then?"

"I was drugged while you were calling the police, and I woke up in the hospital."

Hearing Haibara's indifferent voice, Conan frowned deeply. What on earth was going on?

"Haibara, someone is protecting you. Is it someone from the organization? Didn't you say the organization was hunting you down? Could it be that someone knows your identity and is protecting you in secret?"

Hearing Conan's question, Haibara took a deep breath, "I don't know, that's what I'm wondering about too."
