If the portrait wasn't of her, Tang Yu would have suspected that she had a grudge against someone.

The problem was that she ended up looking quite disheveled. Her once fair and delicate fingers were now covered in several patches of colorful paint, and she even had a red mark accidentally smeared on her face.

"This is what you meant by helping me with the coloring?"

Song Chuxia was startled by his sudden voice. Her hand trembled, and the paintbrush she was applying slipped from her hand, instantly obscuring half of the little girl's face in the simple sketch.

"Brother Tang Yu, you scared me," Song Chuxia said weakly. "It's such a pity, we can't use it now. If you hadn't scared me, I would have already applied it."

"Why don't you redraw it?"

Actually, even if she hadn't been scared by him, the painting was already ruined by her scribbling.

She knew she was clumsy, but she didn't expect to be this clumsy, unable to even apply paint properly and always smearing it outside the lines.

Moreover, mixing colors is also very difficult. She originally wanted to add a little pink to the face she painted, to make her look shy.

Unexpectedly, the proportions of the pigments were not properly controlled, and it ended up turning a magenta color.

Tang Yu did not argue with her accusations.

"Fine!"

There's no other way but to redraw it.

Tang Yu sighed helplessly and raised his hand to wipe the paint off her face, but Song Chuxia dodged it.

Song Chuxia raised an arm to cover her face and asked in a panic, "What are you doing?"

"Let me wipe your face," Tang Yu said, rubbing his thumb against her soft cheek before holding his hand up in front of her eyes for her to see for herself. "What do you think I'm trying to do?"

Feeling a little embarrassed for accusing someone, Song Chuxia said softly, "I thought you were angry because you saw me ruin your painting, so you wanted to hit me!"

"Beat you up?" Tang Yu was so angry he laughed. "You think I'd be willing to do that?"

Seeing that he was angry, Song Chuxia quickly leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. "I also felt that you must have been reluctant, but I felt guilty for ruining your painting! So I dodged for a moment. Don't be angry, okay?"

Tang Yu wasn't really angry about such a small thing. "Give me these two phone cases. Wash your hands and go find something else to play with! Don't get them on your clothes again later."

Through her earlier attempt, Song Chuxia realized that she simply didn't have the talent for this.

Upon hearing Tang Yu say that she could go find something else to play with, she immediately stood up and agreed, "Okay!"

She went to wash her hands, then browsed around the shop, looking at some of the finished products made by the female shop owner. Finally, she encountered a kitten, and after getting the owner's permission, she took a cat toy and played with it.

Tang Yu finished drawing the new phone case, looked up and saw the little girl playing. He smiled indulgently and didn't say anything.

By the time he finished painting both phone cases, it was lunchtime. Tang Yu led the group out to a random restaurant for a bite to eat, and then returned to the workshop to apply clear varnish and gloss to the dried phone cases. These two steps were to protect the painted designs and extend their lifespan.

When they finally left the workshop, it was already four o'clock in the afternoon. There were many small shops in this area, all selling food and entertainment. Song Chuxia and Tang Yu strolled around for a while. After eating out for dinner, the two of them went home.

Not long after I got home, it started raining heavily again.

After washing up, Tang Yu received a phone call and then went to his study for a meeting.

Song Chuxia took out her phone and sat on the beanbag chair in front of the French windows, watching variety shows while waiting for him to come back.

But after watching for a short while, I drifted off to sleep.

When Tang Yu came out of the meeting, he gently took the phone from her hand, carried her to the bed, and then held her as they fell asleep.

On the other hand, on Sunday, Han Qinfei was filming an outfit video at home, but she wasn't very satisfied with the result. Then she saw the weather forecast on her phone saying that there would be no rain that day.

I was thinking of going outside to shoot some outdoor scenes.

However, she had a lot of things to bring, which she couldn't carry by herself, so she asked Ye Ning on WeChat if he was free in the afternoon and if he could accompany her to shoot a video.

Ye Ning's parents are both very busy people, and they're nowhere to be seen on weekends. Ye Ning was feeling bored staying at home alone, so when Han Qinfei suggested it, she immediately agreed. She even packed her things, took a suitcase, and planned to go straight back to school with Han Qinfei after filming the video, instead of going home.

The two met in a taxi at a small park in the suburbs. This was a place Han Qinfei had found online; the scenery was nice, and there were few people, making it perfect for filming videos.

The afternoon's shooting went very smoothly. Ye Ning's photography skills were very professional; she knew how to compose and set up the scenes, and the results were much better than what Han Qinfei had taken on her own before.

After filming, it was getting dark, and the two were packing up to go back when suddenly it started raining heavily without warning.

The two hurriedly stuffed their belongings into their suitcases and then quickly found a place to take shelter from the rain.

Finally, they hid under a small pavilion in the park.

Han Qinfei took a white cotton top out of her suitcase and handed it to Ye Ning. "Ningning, use this to wipe the water off your arms and hair for now! I'm sorry, if I hadn't asked you to come out, you wouldn't have gotten so wet."

"It's just a little rain, what's the big deal?" Ye Ning took the clothes. "But didn't the weather forecast say there was no rain? Why is it raining again?"

"Who knows!" Han Qinfei was also very angry. She had seen on her phone that it wouldn't rain today, so she invited Ye Ning out to shoot an outdoor scene. Who knew that the weather would change so suddenly, without any warning.

"Ningning, after you dry your hair, use that piece of clothing to wipe your suitcase again, then sit down and rest for a while. I'll call a taxi on my phone."

"Row!"

After Han Qinfei finished speaking, she quickly took out her phone and placed an order on a ride-hailing app. However, because their place was somewhat remote and far from the city center, she waited for a long time, and it was already dark, but no driver accepted the order.

Both of their clothes and hair were a little wet, and even after wiping themselves with their clothes, they were still damp. Han Qinfei was worried that she and Ye Ning would catch a cold if they waited any longer, and was about to call the family driver to come and pick them up, but unexpectedly someone else accepted the order.

"Great! Someone has accepted the order!"

"Really?" Ye Ning hurriedly stood up. "How long will it take for the car to arrive?"

“We’ll be there in about ten minutes,” Han Qinfei said, handing her phone to Ye Ning. “Then I won’t call the driver from home. My home is too far from here; it’ll take at least an hour to get here.”
