"No, what's wrong?"

Jiang Wan: "If you don't have classes, then come have dinner with me tonight! We haven't seen each other in a long time."

Song Chuxia thought for a moment. Not long after returning from that trip, she and Tang Yu moved to Zuoan Longting. It had been more than a month since she had last seen Jiang Wan, and Song Chuxia missed her quite a bit, so she replied.

"OK!"

Jiang Wan: "Then let's meet at 6:30 on the second floor of the West Campus cafeteria at school."

Song Chuxia: "OK!"

When it was time for dinner, Song Chuxia told Ye Ning and the others and then went to keep her appointment.

She took the elevator, and as soon as she reached the second floor, she saw Jiang Wan waving enthusiastically at her from not far away.

Song Chuxia quickly went over. Jiang Wan led her into the small restaurant at the far end of the second floor.

The food here is a bit more expensive than outside, but it tastes better and is less crowded. Jiang Wan often eats here with Tang Jun and knows the place very well. So, as soon as Song Chuxia sat down, she recommended it to her.

"The claypot rice at this restaurant is quite delicious in early summer. If you haven't tried it, you should give it a go."

"it is good."

After ordering their food, the two started chatting.

Jiang Wan looked closely at Song Chuxia's fair and delicate face and exclaimed, "Chuxia, your skin is so good! You've been in military training for so long, but you haven't gotten tanned at all! You're still so fair!"

After they returned from that trip, she and Tang Jun went to a seaside city for a few days. Even though they applied sunscreen, she still got a little tanned and hasn't recovered yet.

I'm so angry!

"I used a sunscreen made from Chinese herbs that Tang Yu gave me, and it worked pretty well. I noticed that none of my roommates got tanned," Song Chuxia shared generously. "I still have some in my dorm. Want me to give you a jar? You can try it too?"

“Okay!” After their last trip, the two had become quite familiar with each other, so Jiang Wan didn’t stand on ceremony with her. “Then after we finish eating, I’ll go to your dorm with you to get it.”

"Okay! But why didn't Tang Jun have dinner with you today?"

The two of them were usually inseparable, so Song Chuxia was quite unaccustomed to suddenly seeing Jiang Wan all by herself.

She wasn't used to it, and Jiang Wan was even less used to it.

She pursed her lips and said, "It was Second Brother Tang who assigned him the task, making him intern at a financial company under the Tang family starting this semester. We didn't have classes this afternoon, so he had lunch with me and then went to the company. Didn't you know about this?"

"I don't know," Song Chuxia shook her head. "Tang Yu went on a business trip a while ago and hasn't come back yet. He didn't mention it when we talked. What's wrong? Don't you want Tang Jun to intern at the Tang family's company?"

“No, not exactly,” Jiang Wan said, frowning with some distress. “Although Tang Jun has less time to spend with me since he started his internship at the company, I know that Second Brother Tang is doing it for his own good. He wants him to learn more skills.”

“But…” Jiang Wan bit her lip, took Song Chuxia’s hand and said, “Chuxia, do you think that after Tang Jun went for his internship, he met more people, learned more, and became more and more outstanding? Will he gradually fall behind me and become someone I have nothing to say to anymore?”

“How could that be!” Song Chuxia said firmly, “You’ve known each other since you were little, childhood sweethearts, how could your feelings for each other change after so many years!”

"Wanwan, besides Tang Jun's internship, have you encountered anything else recently?"

Otherwise, why would such a thought suddenly come to mind?

“Yeah,” Jiang Wan said dejectedly, “She’s a senior in my club. Her boyfriend is a senior who just graduated from our school this year. They were really close when they were in school, and they even said they would get married as soon as she graduated. But they broke up a couple of days ago.”

"That senior said that not only could the senior not help him with anything at work, but she also didn't understand his hardships. All she did was cause trouble every day and argue with him over the smallest things. Chu Xia, do you think Tang Jun and I will end up like that in the future?"

“No, that won’t happen,” Song Chuxia squeezed her hand and comforted her, “First, you and Tang Jun have been together for so many years, your relationship is definitely deeper than that between senior students. Second, everyone’s situation is different. Look at me, I can’t help Tang Yu at work, but we’re still doing well.”

“You’re right, my feelings for Tang Jun are definitely deeper than theirs, but…,” Jiang Wan said somewhat dejectedly, “Chu Xia, you and I are different. You’re so well-behaved, not at all dramatic. But I’m incredibly dramatic. Do you think Tang Jun will get annoyed by this one day?”

"Have you ever considered that Tang Jun might like your personality? Hasn't any girl with a gentle, obedient personality liked Tang Jun all these years?"

Song Chuxia felt that everyone's preferences were different. She couldn't make comparisons like Jiang Wan did.

"Yes, it happened," Jiang Wan recalled. "It must have been in the first year of high school. That girl even wrote a love letter to Tang Jun!"

"What was Tang Jun's reaction?"

"He rejected her outright. He didn't even read the love letter and returned it to the girl. He also told her that he already had a girlfriend."

"That settles it. Doesn't that mean Tang Jun doesn't like obedient girls? He only likes you."

"Oh, right!" Jiang Wan's mood immediately improved after being comforted by her words.

Just then, their meal was ready. After the waiter served the food and left, Song Chuxia continued to persuade her.

“Wanwan, I think if you have anything on your mind in the future, you should talk to Tang Jun about it as soon as possible. If you always keep it to yourself, you won’t know what he’s thinking. Misunderstandings will slowly arise. That’s not good.”

"One more thing, I think you should find something to do to keep yourself busy, so you won't keep overthinking."

Jiang Wan nodded. "Okay, I'll be more careful in the future. Besides, I really should start planning my future with Tang Jun."

After dinner, Jiang Wan went to Song Chuxia's dorm room with her, took a bottle of sunscreen and a few packets of foot bath medicine from her. Then she happily went back to her own dorm.

The following afternoon, Lin Zuo drove Song Chuxia to Tiansheng Entertainment.

Song Chuxia had been here once before and was quite familiar with the place, so she didn't ask Lin Zuo to accompany her up.

However, when she entered the elevator, she ran into an acquaintance—Han Hao.

Although he was wearing a mask and hat, covering himself up very well, Song Chuxia still recognized him at a glance.
