That tall, upright figure was actually pushed away by himself.

He started the engine, shifted gears, turned the car around, and it sped away like an arrow, quickly passing by the man who was still standing there with an interesting look on his face.

Jiang Yanhui's captivating and deep peach blossom eyes remained fixed on her car's taillights until they completely disappeared from view. Only then did he curl his lips into a half-smile and turn to walk towards his own car.

Yu Chengfeng had been waiting in the car the whole time, and only now did he see Jiang Yan sway and get in.

A cryptic smile played on his lips. "Yan Hui, I never knew you could be so easily outmaneuvered by a woman. Heh, does Little Chili like that?"

Jiang Yan felt a little irritated, but he was always someone who kept his thoughts very well hidden, and even his closest friends might not be able to figure him out.

He smiled faintly and lazily gave her a look. "She's just a woman, how special can she be?"

"Well."

Yu Chengfeng naturally knew who the "he" Jiang Yan was referring to was.

Siyi first went back to her room and changed into clean home clothes before knocking on the study door.

When Ye Xiongming pushed open the door, he was holding a thick book, his reading glasses perched on his nose. Seeing his daughter come in, he put down the book and smiled gently, "You're back. How was your day?"

Siyi knew her father was asking about the lawsuit.

Lin Piaoyun was one of Siyi's closest friends.

However, her background is pitiful; her parents died early, and she has a brother who is not very good at supporting her.

She and Siyi were classmates in high school. Siyi later went to study in the United States.
