His face paled, and he hurriedly ran into the bedroom, took out a recording device from the bedside table drawer, a screen the size of a brick, pressed a few buttons on it, and the recorded footage appeared on the screen.

The footage only shows the backs of a man and a woman before plunging into darkness, with the final shot focusing on the woman's blurry profile.

She stumbled and ran to the door of the small room, pushed open a small square partition on the wall, inside which were a red and a blue button. Shuyin pressed the blue button.

He turned the doorknob of the small room and rushed inside. He ran to the corner and pried open a piece of floorboard. Hidden under the floorboard was a combination lock box. He entered the combination 5686 and opened it.

Inside the box were several kinds of medicine and a sealed bag. Shu Yin took out the medicine and placed it on the ground, then opened the sealed bag and breathed a sigh of relief after confirming that none of the documents or papers inside were missing.

He put everything back together, his face grim, and went outside with the recording device. He pulled over a passing resident, held the screen up to him, and asked, "Who are they?!"

Shu Yin's appearance was already terrifying, but now, with his gloomy face, he looked like a hideous demon, and his hoarse voice was sharp and piercing as he roared.

The resident nodded as if suddenly realizing something: "Oh, I see. Let me take a look for you." He examined it carefully for a moment, then said: "Yes, that's right, it's our base commander. I saw her wearing this outfit this morning."

Shu Yin snatched the recorder and hurriedly asked, "Then do you know where she is now?"

Shu Yin put the large hat on her head to cover her face and followed the crowd.

Cang Xingyue stood on the platform, directing the group of residents below: "Those who gained their abilities without using the mutation agent, and those without abilities, stand on the left, in front of me."

“Those who gained superpowers using the mutation agent, stand on the right.” He pointed to Lu Siyan: “That is, in front of this man.”

The residents below the stage did as instructed. Some looked at Lu Siyan with confusion, wondering who he was, while a few female residents stared at his face with infatuation: "Wow! He's so handsome! Is he a new member of the base?"

Lu Siyan looked at Cang Xingyue and saw her glare at him. He smiled, raised an eyebrow, turned around and said to the audience, "I am your base commander's husband."
