"What's the significance of copper coins?" Jieyuhua asked.

“Ghost soldiers,” the young man replied. Xie Yuhua glanced back at him, then turned her head back.

"What copper coins? What did you find?" Ling Xiao seemed to have finally found something fun, and his curiosity immediately surged up. He asked Xie Yuhua to tell him.

"Hmm, could you call Fatty or Wu Xie up here?" Ling Xiao had this idea for some reason after hearing Xie Yuhua's description.

"I'm afraid that won't work. It's a bit high up here, and I'm not sure if they can get up here smoothly." Xie Yuhua quickly rejected Ling Xiao's suggestion.

The young man watched as Jieyuhua talked to herself, a complex emotion flashing in his eyes.

"Little Flower Brother, do you know how many ghost soldier statues there are here?"

“There are stone statues all around here. I can’t give an exact estimate, but there are at least more than eight hundred,” Xie Yuhua said after a rough estimate.

"If this row is all arranged like this, then... 2, 4, 6... roughly speaking, it would be at least 1440. But there seem to be a few larger ones over there, the arrangement is uneven, and there is even one that is larger than them, at least twice the size."

“In that case… Little Flower Brother, could you put on your gloves and take the copper coins out of the bowl?” Ling Xiao asked after hearing this.

"Why?" Jieyuhua didn't understand what the child was thinking, but he still put on the gloves.

"You just said that the time here doesn't match the time outside. It's not that the time doesn't flow, but rather that it's flowing at a very slow speed. So, taking this as an assumption, you said the stone statue is 1440. Let's assume that this number is accurate."

1440 is the number of minutes in a day. You might say there are even larger ones, maybe 12. The ancient Chinese system of timekeeping was different from the modern one, but it still represented 24 hours. The largest one probably represents a day.

"From this perspective and line of thinking, isn't it more reasonable?" Ling Xiao analyzed.

After hearing this, Jieyuhua carefully counted the medium-sized stone statues again, and there were exactly 12 of them, no more and no less.

Jieyuhua couldn't understand how the child could have come up with these ideas. How could a rough number lead to this conclusion? "Then why remove the copper coins?" he asked.

"I suspect that these copper coins might be a new switch, but not all the coins in the bowls are the same. If we call Wuxie and Fatty over, perhaps because of their special physical condition, they might be able to activate the mechanism without having to collect the exact number of coins. After all, controlling 1440 stone statues at the same time is not an easy task."

Jieyuhua casually picked up a copper coin.

With a "whoosh," a hidden arrow shot out from the hole in the stone statue's eye.

Jieyuhua dodged it, and then heard a clanging sound behind her. She realized that it was Xiao Ge who had blocked the hidden arrow behind him.

These holes are all interconnected, so that when an arrow from one hole strikes forward, an arrow from another hole will attack from a distance behind. Furthermore, these two arrows are fired simultaneously from the left and right, the purpose of which is to prevent the enemy from dodging the arrow in front and still being able to hit the target.

Jieyuhua took a deep breath, her hand instinctively reaching for the child behind her, and nodded to the young man in gratitude.

"What did he say?" the young man asked.
